parallelsfic has started once again! \o\ It's a rare Asian fandoms fanwork exchange. Nominations end on June 15. Sign-ups are between June 16-June 29, and assignments go out on July 1 and are due in a month on August 1. Here's the A03 collection, nominations for series/characters go here, and series that have already been nominated can be viewed here.

I'm super excited. :DDDD Many series have already been nominated! Assassination Classroom, Haikyuu, Hataraku Maou-sama, Fire Emblem (several of them!!! Rekka no Ken, Fuuin no Tsurugi, Path of Radiance, Awakening... ahhhh), just to name a few series I'm currently into... So many other awesome nominations too, like Suikoden I, III, Tierkreis (none of which I can write, but I would love fic), Shingeki no Kyojin, Kuragehime, Oresama Teacher... Last year, I wrote a Kuroko no Basket fic for Parallels. I wonder what I'll end up writing this year? :3 I certainly don't feel KnB can be considered a "rare" fandom anymore, haha. Awakening and Shingeki no Kyojin are both fairly popular at the moment, but fics are only just starting out, so hopefully people don't feel they're too popular to be rare. (Also, for Awakening... there don't seem to be many fics about Libra yet. I should request fic about him...) I can't really participate in the SnK fandom though, since I'm trying to avoid manga spoilers. :3;;

SO YEAH. Parallels is starting! If you like Asian fandoms, check it out! It's an exchange that includes three types of fanworks: fics, fanart, and videos! So if you fic, art, or vid, this is a great exchange to check out. :)

That aside, Jenny Flint has translated another two of my fics into Spanish~. This time, it's an Ace Attorney fic and a Death Note fic! \o/ Now that AA5 has been announced, I really should... post the AA fics I have in the works... before new canon completely trounces them... I haven't touched them in years though. :'D Perhaps I'll just post up what I have... just in my journal. Since they don't really end. OTL

Hahaha, I'm quite happy I managed to make people laugh with Part 27 of Bittersweet Sweetness! Reactions all seem to be LOL'ing. Success! XD I've been hinting at this (I wonder if anyone guessed), but I'm thinking probably not very many guessed the particulars. Currently, I'm telling myself if I finish Bittersweet, then I can join new writing communities like cottoncandy_bingo. Otherwise, I must stay away. Be good. Finish WIPs!! The problem with Bittersweet though, to me at least, is that I've always felt it lacked momentum. There also isn't much of a climax. (...if there is one, this would be it, and it's... hahahaha). Currently hoping to update Invincible next.


Watched the Gyakuten Saiban live action movie with my parents! \o\ I thought I wouldn't like Saitou Takumi as Mitsurugi (I didn't think he fit Edgeworth's image), but he was pretty cool after all. Narimiya Hiroki was quite cute as Naruhodou! I thought the movie worked pretty well as a mystery (that, and I've forgotten the details of the cases, so I was still kept in suspense, hahaha. Also, a few details are different.). Now my parents finally know what the games are about and what the character I cosplayed as (Maya) is like. My dad was asking me when she wears her waitress outfit. (Not in this movie, since that wasn't part of the first game!) :3

Can I have Ace Attorney 5 now? XD; (I will miss Apollo though. ;___;) I really hope Apollo is in AA5! And Klavier... I haven't a clue where AA5 will lead, since Phoenix was such a collected person in AA4... no longer a newbie...


I changed my header image! Wanted something with better scan quality. I cleaned up and pieced together my scans of this epic No Hero poster I have. So now my header features the four heroes from No Hero by Yu Wo~. I just love how epic the scene looks. :D we'll see how long this header satisfies me

Hey everyone! I'll be at Fanime this weekend cosplaying as Maya Fey. If you're going too, I hope to see you there. :D I don't have any plans just yet (just hoping I won't get bored). I finally got myself a smartphone, so feel free to tweet me to get into contact with me, or call/send me a text. If you also have a smartphone, I'm using WhatsApp, so you can text me with that too. (Free texting!) It seems to be a fairly cool app. I recommend it if you don't have a texting plan. :3

To everyone else, I'll still be around, though probably even more unresponsive than usual.

Despite Fanime being tomorrow (Day 0 started today even), I'm still not done with my cosplay. :'( I finished the outside purple jacket thing, but the inside I'm still in the process of sewing. I'm just about done with the bow, but I still need to thread her necklace... I really should have started earlier than this week! I have work tomorrow, so I won't get to the convention until the afternoon. Probably leaving early since I know I'll still be tired from work too.

...gotta rush out of the house now to buy some last minute supplies. Just realized I don't have hooks for my bow, ahhhh.

Natsume Yuujinchou San
I have fallen so behind with anime watching that I haven't been watching anything lately. I've tried to keep up with Natsume, but I fell behind with that too! I played catch up this week though, and now I'm just two episodes behind. The episodes quite relax me.


Matobe Matoba! Voiced by Suwabe Junichi, who voices Atobe from Prince of Tennis. Because of this, I keep typing Matoba's name as Matobe, haha... this is the Atobe syndrome. I read a little of the manga but didn't keep up with it. Nice to see this arc animated!

The World God Only Knows OVA
A one episode OVA came out for Kami Nomi! Was great seeing Keima in action again, though this episode was merely a bridge to something more. It sure hints at a lot of things though.

New games announced!
So recently, I've heard that Fire Emblem is coming out with a new game on the 3DS (now I really need to get a 3DS sometime, huh? Especially since it now seems very likely that the Professor Layton vs Gyakuten Saiban game is going to be released in English too. But 3D is lost on me since I like it best when I turn the 3D all the way down).

Just yesterday, there was also news that there'll be a new Suikoden game on the PSP. This made me very happy since I heard that the Suikoden team had been disbanded. While this isn't a continuation of the main storyline, I'm just happy that the series is continuing. I enjoyed Tierkreis. Hopefully I'll enjoy the new game too.

Ahaha, my paid account expired while I wrote this.

My year-in-fic! Like every year, I ended up writing a lot less than I'd have liked. I only managed one of my writing resolutions I made for 2010, and that was writing for yuletide. I also realized a few things about my writing (or more like, was reminded of a few things...), and the number one thing is...

- I cannot write without deadlines. The things I wrote this year were almost all for fic exchanges, or they had self-imposed deadlines. (And then there was NaNo with one of the toughest deadlines!)

Maybe I should set more self-imposed deadlines for myself.

- I still haven't made a purple vest yet, so I grabbed a random vest of mine. This vest makes me look Western (is what my dad said, haha).
- I grabbed my blue tie for Tadase because the tie I bought was too huge for me. I need to resize the pink tie I bought and paint horizontal orange stripes on it.
- My sunglasses aren't pink. ): What to do?
- My pink dress shirt is way too tight for me. :'D I need to buy a new one. OTL.
- My socks were way too tight at the top, so I took the top part off...now it keeps falling. XD; My thighs are pretty fat compared to the rest of my leg though...I should do thigh exercises.
- I still need to make her purse...
- I might need to buy brown boots, but I'll probably just go with my brown shoes for comfort. It's hard to tell what her shoes should look like from the game art.

Hm, still a long list of things to do. :3 But the above pic is pretty much how I'll look like at Fanime and AX, though I'll probably be wearing slightly different socks each day. :) It's too bad my other socks aren't as long, but it's better to have fresh socks each day!

Finished playing Edgeworth's game today. :D Heh, I finished the game around the same date as when the game takes place (minus the year). This game drops a lot of references to previous games. I think I would like this game less if I weren't already an AA fan...I wonder what newcomers to the series make of this game.
