I spent the most money on doujinshi while in Japan. They really added up. I didn't have a single doujinshi before this. Now my collection has...exploded. They're still spread over my floor. My relatives were quite curious about what they were, so I found myself explaining about Comiket and doujinshi and all that. They were impressed with the whole notion (especially self printing). Good thing all of my doujinshi are quite safe for everyone. XD;; Some of these were bought at Comiket. Some were at used book shops.

Finally finished WA4. X3 Remember how I mentioned that I borrowed the game from the library? I uh...renewed the game. A LOT. I had to return the game at one point, but I borrowed it again afterwards.

I liked WA4 better than WA3 but not more than WA2. (I haven't played the original WA1 myself and I've just barely started Alter Code F.) I think a lot of people don't like WA4 because it's so different from the previous games. Blah. I always seem to like the ones that aren't as popular...like Suikoden III and Final Fantasy IX. I like everyone having different skills. This time, Jude's the one with arms, Arnaud has magic, Yulie has healing/summons, and Racquel uses swords. WA3 was boring because everyone used guns. That's just not cool enough. Though, the hex battle system probably had something to do with making the battles more interesting.

My favorite character's Arnaud. :3

...the black market requires you to spend CHARACTER LEVELS. D= Yulie had pretty low defense, so I forged for her better armor. I only did it once though. I trained with those growth apples that gave crazy experience...and delayed myself from playing the last level. But uh...since my break's almost over, I gave up on forging better equipment for everyone and just went and beat the game. I didn't fulfill a lot of the requirements for the EX file key things...so I only have one of them unlocked. -_-;;

I guess I should finish WA3 now. I'm right before the last level for that game too.
During my last visit to the library, I was very surprised to find that they were now lending out PS2 games. Video games at the library. This is a strange notion to me, since libraries are for books. Though I suppose that since they've expanded to videos, cds, and dvds, video games aren't entirely unexpected. But still.

Despite how weird I thought this was, I still checked out some video games. <3  This is a good way to see which games I'd like to buy, and also play a few games that I sort of wanted to play but wouldn't actually buy them. I wondered at how long I could keep them. Turned out to be 3 weeks. Well. I don't think I've ever finished a game within three weeks. Well, I might have, but it's rare. I think I went through Fire Emblem 6 and 7 pretty fast.

I borrowed Katamari Damacy, Wild Arms 4, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, 2006 World Cup, and my mom checked out some other games that I'd never play. I did play some Taito collection game that she borrowed. Bubble Bobble is very nostalgic.
