Another round of no_true_pair has started! Prompts are out (you can see them over here and sign up here). Like my goal for trope_bingo, I hope to write at least one fic. I don't believe I can manage any more than that. ^^;;

I had a hand in this month's themes over at 31_days when I was called as back-up. XD Really cool seeing how people are interpreting the themes. :D (the themes were inspired by the Hyakunin Isshu.) I want to write some myself too, but there's also no_true_pair happening this month, and I'm quite behind on that (as in, I haven't actually written a single thing). I picked out one theme from each of my lists for the first week to mull over. I don't think I'll be able to finish anything by the end of the week, but I do have a lot of ideas.

The 8th manhua bundle of Legend of Sun Knight has finally been announced! \o\ This was supposed to be released in August during CWT (a doujinshi convention in Taiwan), but it was pulled at the last minute, something about how the publisher wants to try selling it online instead. I wonder why they decided to do that? Maybe because of demand? They can probably sell more online... At least it's easier for me to order through Kingstone than going through an agent to buy stuff from CWT, so I guess this is a good thing for me. Unless it turns out that they won't ship this oversees (which I'm beginning to think might be the case).

This titles of the chapters in this part of the manhua are the following:
♥ Don't forget to eat breakfast.
♥ Never be the cause of embarrassment, especially in front of your teacher.
♥ Do not hand the Death Knight over to the lich.

Looks like it'll still be covering the beginning of volume 2 of the novels (though I can't recall what the third chapter title is referring to). The side story included with the bundle is about the Moon Knight and is titled "Haughtiness". :DDD The bundle comes with an envelop. I think that's Ice on it? :3

I've requested Kimi to Boku before in Yuletide. Now that this request of mine has been fulfilled during Parallels, I'll probably keep on trying with my other fandoms. :)

I have one fic in the collection. /o\ A week ago, I liked my fic. A few days ago, I didn't. My opinion on it keeps going back and forth. I just hope it's not too disappointing. I was editing all the way up until fics went live. Finally closed my document when fics went live, haha... It actually felt good to finally be able to stop. Now I can finally attend to other stuff! Since, there's nothing more I can do about this fic. :'D

No True Pair sign ups started just in time. :D Coming up with lists of characters for this will be fun~. I didn't manage to write anything for the previous round, but Invincible was inspired by some of the matches I got. Hope I can at least write something this time!

NaNoWriMo
NaNoWriMo starts in less than 7 hours for me! Except, I have very little clue what I'm writing yet. I entertained thoughts of continuing my NaNo from last year and also thoughts of restarting with the same characters, but perhaps what I need is a complete fresh start.... ahhhh, I don't know yet. I've tossed so many ideas around. What I would like to write is an epic story where a lot of things happen in 50k. I wrote 50k last year, but nothing much happened in those 50k except for sightseeing, seriously, and the story did not have a lot of direction. Or well, it did, but the way I inched towards it made it feel like an afterthought. *muses some more* Ahhh, yes, I need more conflict in the story, even if not a lot happens.

I'll be doing a lot of planning today and tomorrow, but first I need to finish up all my fandom responsibilities first! I still have a lot of stuff to translate and proofread, TCG stuff to do, fanfics I should have finished by now but still haven't... Oh, I also need to go TCG trick-or-treating for colors_tcg. |D;;

You can find me over here for NaNo. Writing buddies are so motivating! Pretty much my biggest motivator with finishing last year. ;) I posted my writing as I went along last year, but I don't know yet if I want to do that again this year. *muses about this too*

Writing Communities
no_true_pair - Whoa, October ended! I only posted 3 fics, all the Legend of Sun Knight fics. I should've finished Lessons in Demeanor by now (but I haven't). I'll be posting it in its entirety over there at the community when I'm done. There are tons of other prompts I planned to do but haven't gotten around to. I definitely want to write one of the Oresama Teacher prompts though... so I'll still be poking away at fics for this community.

yuletide - I've been checking yuletide like crazy, but nominations haven't opened yet. I can't wait until they do though! Yuletide is an annual fic exchange for obscure fandoms. I haven't decided what to nominate yet... there are series that I want to write for that I wonder if I should nominate in hopes that that might spur some people to request those series. Then there are series that I might want to request other people to write for me since I don't think I'll be playing in those fandoms myself... my hopes is that other people will nominate both stuff I want to write and stuff I want to request, but what should I use my own nominations on to be safe, hm... :3

norsekink - I haven't written anything for this comm, but I sure want to. *bookmarks some of the prompts* Except I have a very bad grasp on Marvel stuff outside of the movies, and an even worse grasp on Norse mythology. |D My mind has been completely eaten by Loki this past week though, and gods, since he's one of the main characters, there is so. much. fic about him. It is both delightful and very dangerous. It is scary how obsessed I am with Loki at the moment.

Other stuff
The Legend of Sun Knight, volume 8, the last volume!!! (Grisia looks so serious on the cover!), is being released on 11/8! It's not available for preorder, or else it'd already be in my shopping cart, ahhhh. Must remember to buy this when 11/8 rolls around. The conclusionnnnn! I cannot wait. Yu Wo also posted the second-to-last teaser for volume 8, and it is quite a read.

Listing out all my possible prompts for no_true_pair and narrowing them down later. :3 This will be fun! Some match-ups are more plausible than others while some are just crack. XD; My comments are in parentheses. Posting starts October. I hope my muse will give me some short oneshots. Not sure if I'll actually get anything written, but I gave each one some passing thought. Was fun just to think about the prompts even if I don't end up writing them.
