I Look Up At The Sky Because You Are There.mp3 (OP song)
Wild Arms 4 Opening 1 Japanese.avi

Finally finished WA4. X3 Remember how I mentioned that I borrowed the game from the library? I uh...renewed the game. A LOT. I had to return the game at one point, but I borrowed it again afterwards.

I liked WA4 better than WA3 but not more than WA2. (I haven't played the original WA1 myself and I've just barely started Alter Code F.) I think a lot of people don't like WA4 because it's so different from the previous games. Blah. I always seem to like the ones that aren't as popular...like Suikoden III and Final Fantasy IX. I like everyone having different skills. This time, Jude's the one with arms, Arnaud has magic, Yulie has healing/summons, and Racquel uses swords. WA3 was boring because everyone used guns. That's just not cool enough. Though, the hex battle system probably had something to do with making the battles more interesting.

My favorite character's Arnaud. :3

...the black market requires you to spend CHARACTER LEVELS. D= Yulie had pretty low defense, so I forged for her better armor. I only did it once though. I trained with those growth apples that gave crazy experience...and delayed myself from playing the last level. But uh...since my break's almost over, I gave up on forging better equipment for everyone and just went and beat the game. I didn't fulfill a lot of the requirements for the EX file key things...so I only have one of them unlocked. -_-;;

The last dungeon, Illsveil Prison...when I saw these two doors right after the save point near the middle of the dungeon, I immediately thought, "Aha, and now the game's going to ask me to split up my party so that I'll have to go down both ways!!"

I really like games where I have to split up my party. I guess that's one of the reasons I liked WA2 because there was a place where I had to split up my party. Everyone was well trained, so I had no worries there.

But yeah. I got to thinking...how would I divide up the party? I'd probably go with Jude/Arnaud and Yulie/Racquel because Jude has high physical attack and can heal with mystic while Arnaud has magic. Yulie can heal and has summons while Racquel has high physical attack. I thought that those would be pretty good teams.

I was right that my party was going to be split up!! :DDD But uh...I wasn't right with the party assignments. The game didn't let me choose! JUDE ENDED UP BY HIMSELF!! Well, not by himself, but with Kresnik. That was actually pretty cool too. But anyway, Jude would've been fine by himself too though. (He's kind of a bit too strong.) Jude's combination art with Kresnik (Crash Gadget) was cool too. XD;; The battles were ridiculously easy because of it.

Too many people died meaningless deaths though. >_>

The last battle was really easy too. I think it was all those growth apples that I fought beforehand. ^^;; But I liked the last battle. When I had to do the combination art "Arc Impulse" with all four characters, the opening theme began right when they started the combination art. It was a great place to have the music. I loved it. ♥ I'm now addicted to the song.

The ending. There was actually an anime sequence for the ending!!! It was what I've always wanted since seeing the opening for  WA1. I remember being disappointed when my brother beat the game and there wasn't an anime sequence for the ending. But I liked what came before the anime sequence too, the playable part of the ending.

The ending for this game was...well done, in my opinion. It really made me sad though. ;_; I've been somewhat spoiled for the ending beforehand, but it still made me sad. I remember reading that Arnaud has a kid and that the ending was sad. Of course, I made the connection that Racquel would be gone. Still, Arnaud and Racquel are so sweet together. I love that picture of the two of them  with their kid. The photo of all four of the main characters is really cute too. I liked how the ending ended with that picture. Kind of cliched, but still.

I'm amused that Jude and Yulie didn't end up together. At least, the ending doesn't scream "They're together!!!!" So it can be argued either way. Though, Jude did go through the entire game for the sake of protecting Yulie...

I guess I should finish WA3 now. I'm right before the last level for that game too.
