Um wow, this post has just turned into a monster. =___= This is what happens when I haven't written a round-up for the longest time. XD;

Now that the spring anime season has started, here's my round-up for stuff I finished watching before the new season. Though some shows aren't even from the winter or fall seasons, haha. I planned on following a few more series but never did. I've been pretty lax with writing my impressions... This was last season's. This season, I basically only finished series I was already watching from the fall season!

recently ended: Ginga e Kickoff, Bakuman season 3, Zetsuen no Tempest, Senyuu )

older series: Ano Hana, Toradora, Wagaya no Oinari-sama )

still following: Uchuu Kyoudai, Chihayafuru season 2 )

behind on: Kotoura-san, Magi, Maoyuu, Tamako Market )

spring season: OreImo, Hataraku Maou-sama, Karneval, Arata Kangatari )

Rebocon

I've been watching bits and parts of Rebocon. First was Rebocon in Taiwan, then bits and pieces of Rebocon Red and Rebocon Blue, and then Rebocon 2010 in Tokyo. I wish I could find earlier Rebocon shows too. :3

Rebocon Red: KENN <333333 Cannot wait to see the full length of this show. I want to see more of KENN. XD;
Rebocon Blue: Ah! Kato Kazuki!! Mmm, I really like his rendition of Mukuro's song. He makes it sound a bit cooler. XD (I always thought this song was too upbeat for Mukuro...)

Rebocon in Taiwan wasn't as fun to watch as the others (it felt like a more simplified show), but the last song they sang amused me greatly. XD They all tried singing in Mandarin! I thought Kiuchi Hidenobu's pronunciation was pretty good. The non-present singers with their pre-recorded parts all had better pronunciation. XD; If not for the subtitles, I don't think I would be able to understand what they were singing. XD This was a lot of fun to listen to though~

Kiuchi Hidenobu seems to be in charge a lot for these shows. (I thought Tsuna's seiyuu would speak more as the main character, but she doesn't speak that much?). Also, this was the first time I've seen Gokudera's seiyuu Ichinose Hidekazu, but eeeee, he looks so cool! I love his hairstyle! I always found Lambo's voice kind of annoying, but seeing Takeuchi Junko perform is just, wow~.

So, the Dino deck and [livejournal.com profile] megchan87's comment about Dino's character song has gotten me into a KENN kick because it's such a beautiful song! Gods, I love his voice. Here, karaoke version of Be More. :D I've only read the manga and haven't watched the anime at all. Perhaps I should to hear him speak. Anyone know which episodes Dino appears in? Ah, but he was voiced by Ken Ken first...Ken Ken sounds cute too as Dino. :3

Somehow this led me to revisiting More Than Limit to watch him sing Yuuta's famous song. ♥ I was watching this video that put together all the parts in Tenimyu that KENN was in, but now I'm rewatching all of More Than Limit, haha.

I think I need to watch Air Gear sometime since he's in that too. 8D And the Air Gear musicals look so fun. Yugioh GX is another one I'm thinking of watching...but I have no idea where to start (he voices Judai). Is Yugioh GX a continuation of Yugioh? I've only watched 10 episodes of that. ): KENN's song for Vitamin Z sounds so pretty too, but I have no idea what the scenario of that game is. I read that Vitamin X for the DS is about a high school teacher taking care of a horrible class of kids (and falling in love with one of them). Haha, not a game I can play. But is Vitamin Z the same and are the characters the same between Vitamin Z and Vitamin X? Hm...

Miracle Train

Miracle Train ended up being the only anime I've finished so far from Fall season. (I'm following Tegami Bachi, but that's still ongoing.) XD; It's fairly lighthearted but can be touching at times. It makes me smile when I watch it because there's nothing earth shattering going on. Okiayu Ryoutarou and KENN both voice train stations in it, and Ishida Akira voices the sarcastic dog above. The dog's really cute and is featured in the eyecatches of each episode. The series starts out episodic with the train stations helping a different female solve her problem each week. There's an attempt at a deeper plot near the end. The last two episodes were a nice surprise (and kind of...sci-fi-ish). ^___^ The ending pictures were especially touching! One of my favorite episodes was when a guy stumbled onto the train instead of a girl. XD; It's a fun series to squeal over because there are lots of eye candy and useless trivia involved.

This series makes me want to visit Japan again and go to those stations. XDD

Roppongi pics because he's cute. not too spoilerish )

other pics and spoilerish ending pics )

Well, that ends my weekly dose of KENN's voice...maybe I should watch Reborn to hear him as Dino now...
