Durarara

Seems like lots of people have high expectations of this one. I've seen this mentioned in G Fantasy and liked the color scheme, but I haven't read any of the manga adaption even though I buy the magazine each month for Kimi to Boku. I like the setting in Ikebukuro. The mystery isn't very engaging yet...

Hanamaru Youchien

Gainax x Mizushima team up to produce a kindergarten anime. XD; Saw this announced at AX during the Gainax panel. I am hoping one day people will want to animate Kimi to Boku instead. I mean, the guy on the right looks enough like Kaname! I was very amused that the little girl has a hairstyle like Hikaru from Hikago. It's a slice of life show with, well, kindergarten. First episode was just intros. There really aren't that many guy teachers in kindergarten. Not even in lower elementary.

Sora no Woto

First anime for the Anime no Chikara project for creating original anime series. The backgrounds are lovely. The mood of the anime is pretty peaceful even though the girls are soldiers. The roles of the girls aren't realistic at all, but the world they live in could prove fascinating. I loved the opening in the first episode when the song played with scenes from her journey...but too bad there was an actual opening sequence for the second episode. I was less charmed by the opening with the actual opening sequence.

You read Kimi to Boku? *___* I think it would make a great anime. Lighthearted, touching, and humorous. If the seiyuu stayed the same as the drama CDs, it would be even better. I love Minagawa Junko and Kaida Yuuki as twins so much. ♥

Yup! But I just started. I think the latest scans are up to chap 12 only... (I want to learn Japanese T.T).

Minagawa and Kaida as the twins? Wow! I want to listen to the drama CDs too, but I don't know where to get it, of if I'll ever find one over the net I wouldn't understand it coz it probably has no translation.

The latest scanlations are up to the end of volume 3. There are lots of great scenes in the future volumes! What do you think of the series? :3

I did a translation of 3 of the drama CD tracks but never got around to the rest. If you want to hear how Minagawa Junko and Kaida Yuuki sound as twins, you can check these out. :3 They're so funny~

What I think of it? I LOVE IT!! Kaname's my favorite. The manga is currently a plague on my mind. I've been ranting about it over my friends almost everyday. XD There surely are hints for yaoi fangirls, but I can't seem to look at it that way. For me they have an ideal friendship. XD And the quotes at the end of the chapters are truly touching... some scenes makes me smack the computer table in awe, specially the funny ones. :D

I love Chizu and Masaki too. They're so cute. I'm excited to know how their relationship would turn out.^^

Kaname gets angry so easily! XD; It's so fun to see him get flustered. I love their friendship. My favorite is Yuuki...because he appears apathetic to a lot of things and really loves his older brother. It's cute~

Chizuru and Masaki are cute with each other. XDD Poor Chizuru!
