Durarara

Seems like lots of people have high expectations of this one. I've seen this mentioned in G Fantasy and liked the color scheme, but I haven't read any of the manga adaption even though I buy the magazine each month for Kimi to Boku. I like the setting in Ikebukuro. The mystery isn't very engaging yet...

Hanamaru Youchien

Gainax x Mizushima team up to produce a kindergarten anime. XD; Saw this announced at AX during the Gainax panel. I am hoping one day people will want to animate Kimi to Boku instead. I mean, the guy on the right looks enough like Kaname! I was very amused that the little girl has a hairstyle like Hikaru from Hikago. It's a slice of life show with, well, kindergarten. First episode was just intros. There really aren't that many guy teachers in kindergarten. Not even in lower elementary.

Sora no Woto

First anime for the Anime no Chikara project for creating original anime series. The backgrounds are lovely. The mood of the anime is pretty peaceful even though the girls are soldiers. The roles of the girls aren't realistic at all, but the world they live in could prove fascinating. I loved the opening in the first episode when the song played with scenes from her journey...but too bad there was an actual opening sequence for the second episode. I was less charmed by the opening with the actual opening sequence.

I have the highest hope for DuraDura! because its from the creators of Baccano (which is AMAZING!) And that's probably why a lot of people have high hopes for it.

Sora no Woto didn't seem to interesting to me cause its full of girls but seeing the background I might give it a go.

Hanamaru seems eh eh to me.

But... *drumrolll* NODAMNE FINALE!!!!!!!! Last season!!!!!!!!

Katana Gatari looks amazing too~

The rest of the 2010 winter anime are flops to me (harems, ecchi, ects)

But CAN'T WAIT FOR SPRING OF 2010 ANIME BECAUSE *DRUMROLL* OOFURI SEASON 2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HOW I HAVE WAITED FOR IT!!!!!!!!!!!!

That seems to be why people are anticipating it, and I hope it lives up to the hype. I haven't watched Baccano yet~.

The entire platoon in Sora no Woto is just 5 girls. Very unrealistic. =/ The first two episodes kind of reminded me of Piano (which was one of the most boring anime I ever watched) with the slow pace where nothing much happens, except this one has beautiful backgrounds and animation.

Haha, I hope Hanamaru Youchien picks up in the second episode. I'm more interested in the teacher than in the little kids.

I still need to watch the previous seasons of Nodame!!

I haven't heard much about Katanagatari...pictures look interesting.

I don't have much else I'm checking out this season. I'm so looking forward to Oofuri season 2 next season. :DDDDDD It will be epic!!! And heartwarming!! And full of boys. XD

OMG At first I didn't want to watch Baccano either but after I started watching it was just sooo good and amazing. It starts out really random but then everything just falls together into one piece.

Oh yeah ew. Not interested if there's no bishies for me and if the plot and dry and boring give me less reason to watch.

I'm not really into anime about little kids so I'll probably won't watch hanamaru.

Nodame is soooo good~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~!!!!!!!! So you need to watch it!!

I watch Oofuri at first for the gayness but I found myself more interested in the baseball!! Mihashi is just so adorable! And I can't wait to see how they unfurl against Abe's old pitcher team. I beat there's gonna be a ton of tension between them hehehe.

Well, I'll have to watch it one day to see. =P

I guess Sora no Woto is a slice-of-life type of series...except this one only has girls. I tried not comparing it with K-On even with the similar character design, but with five girls who sit around with not much happening...it does give off a similar feeling even with the more epic world.

I'm really happy Oofuri is getting a second season. ♥ The match will be so intense! I followed the manga for quite a while, but the drawings make it hard to tell who's who sometimes...and I really missed the seiyuu. Mihashi is so adorable in the anime. *___* The way he speaks and moves and everything!!

You read Kimi to Boku? *___* I think it would make a great anime. Lighthearted, touching, and humorous. If the seiyuu stayed the same as the drama CDs, it would be even better. I love Minagawa Junko and Kaida Yuuki as twins so much. ♥

Yup! But I just started. I think the latest scans are up to chap 12 only... (I want to learn Japanese T.T).

Minagawa and Kaida as the twins? Wow! I want to listen to the drama CDs too, but I don't know where to get it, of if I'll ever find one over the net I wouldn't understand it coz it probably has no translation.

The latest scanlations are up to the end of volume 3. There are lots of great scenes in the future volumes! What do you think of the series? :3

I did a translation of 3 of the drama CD tracks but never got around to the rest. If you want to hear how Minagawa Junko and Kaida Yuuki sound as twins, you can check these out. :3 They're so funny~

What I think of it? I LOVE IT!! Kaname's my favorite. The manga is currently a plague on my mind. I've been ranting about it over my friends almost everyday. XD There surely are hints for yaoi fangirls, but I can't seem to look at it that way. For me they have an ideal friendship. XD And the quotes at the end of the chapters are truly touching... some scenes makes me smack the computer table in awe, specially the funny ones. :D

I love Chizu and Masaki too. They're so cute. I'm excited to know how their relationship would turn out.^^

Kaname gets angry so easily! XD; It's so fun to see him get flustered. I love their friendship. My favorite is Yuuki...because he appears apathetic to a lot of things and really loves his older brother. It's cute~

Chizuru and Masaki are cute with each other. XDD Poor Chizuru!
