Anime I just recently finished watching. (Winter or not)

I actually watched quite a few series this season, and the majority of them all aired on Saturday, haha...

Not spoiler free!

winter anime: Ace of Diamond, Aldnoah Zero, Boueibu, Bonjour Sweet Love, Durarara, Magic Kaito 1412, Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso, Shirobako, Yowamushi Pedal )

older anime: Ginga Kikoutai Majestic Prince, Shingeki no Bahamut Genesis, Sword Art Online II, Ookami Shoujo to Kuro Ouji, Hitsugi no Chaika )

still watching: Sailor Moon Crystal, World Trigger )

New season, I'm hoping to check out Arslan Senki, Yamada-kun to 7-nin no Majo, Ace of Diamond S2, Ore Monogatari, Yahari Ore no Seishun Rabukome wa Machigatteiru Zoku, Kyoukai no RINNE, and maybe Owari no Seraph and Plastic Memories.

I've read the manga for Yamada-kun. I'd always hoped that Yankee-kun to Megane-chan would get an anime, but the mangaka's other work being adapted is great too. It's like my other favorites all over again... I like Oresama Teacher, the mangaka's newer work, Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun gets adapted. I like NG Life, the mangaka's newer work, Akatsuki no Yona gets adapted. I like Yankee-kun to Megane-chan, the mangaka's newer work, Yamada-kun gets adapted. Well, I'm glad their newer works are popular enough to get the anime treatment! ♥ I watched episode 1 of Yahari Ore... (Oregairu). Hikki's monologues are the best. I chuckled a lot through the episode. I hadn't finished S1 of Baby Steps, so no S2 for me until I do.

(Wow, looking at my previous post, I watched everything I planned on watching, and then some, except for Nanatsu no Taizai)
Kiyu and I created a series to link everything together on AO3 for the cake verse~~. Cake verse now officially has a name. XD;; (But I bet it'll still be caaaake to many)

Until the End of Time

The series is named in such a way because of this scene from the manhua (Rule 20) where we spent forever trying to figure out what Lesus would say to Grisia as a vow. It can't be "until death do us part" because yeah, death isn't going to part them~. And now that the verse is continuing into present time with reincarnation, "Until the End of Time" it was! I'm excited. Seeing these fics linked like this makes me want to toss more side stories in there. XD; Kiyu already has one up~.

Most of the anime series I was watching over the spring and summer have ended! Here's what I finished watching. I didn't finish watching a lot.

Haikyuu, Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun, Ao Haru Ride, Free, other )

Belatedly signing up for [livejournal.com profile] parallelsfic! :D

To my parallels creator, I hope this letter is helpful. But if you work better without a letter, feel free to skip! My requests are detailed in my sign-up, so this is just extra stuff. The important thing is to have fun~

Hm, I think I might actually update Fifteen Going on Sixty next. :O It might only take three chapters to finish this fic! (I will be so happy if that's true.) I do have a chapter of My Friend, the Pope (in-training) partially written, but I'm veering into spoilerish territory now... Perhaps I'll make that chapter a later one. A Vice-Captain's Tale might need to be put on hiatus while we're on this part of the translations. Then again, the main character in the fic is Tyler and not... Maybe it doesn't matter... :'D

I'm glad that it sounds like many people have not been spoiled about the story. Phew. But gosh, the reactions to the translations of LSK V6C10!!! The theories dumped on V6C9 were awesome. My favorite one was that Adair is the last demon king candidate. XD;; Best theory ever. (/maybe we need fic about this...)

I recently marathoned through the Log Horizon anime! \o\ It's amazing! The basic premise "seems" to be that they're stuck in a MMORPG, but they don't actually know if they're stuck in the game or if they've been transported to a world very similar to the game. Lots of game mechanics are involved though (this is a lot of fun), and the MC is such a strategist and schemer. It's so awesome to see him work. 8D I was going "hnnnnng" the entire time because it was truly like a good mix of 1/2 Prince (MMORPG) and LSK (Shiroe is an amazing schemer), and it really made me want to explore the ramifications of being stuck in their avatars even more for Invincible. Mamare Touno, the author of Log Horizon and Maoyuu, is truly very good at exploring the politics and economics side of things. You would think a series based on the trope of being stuck in a game would focus on 1) how they got stuck in the game 2) getting home, but nope, the series instead focuses on building a new society in their new reality and trying to figure out how to get along with the NPCs that were originally living there. After all, the adventurers (the players) that came later should really be considered the strange ones instead of the NPCs. I really loved the direction the series took. :D And I'm so enjoying how smart the series is. Like, seriously. Watching it made me think. XD And it was able to make an entire episode featuring a conversation around a table very, very engaging. So yeah. I have a lot of praises to sing about this series because wow, it is very relevant to my interests, and it delivered. XD;;

Too bad there doesn't seem to be very much fic for the series... I might have to write some of my own. Hopefully they will be oneshots...
