Another "back from AX" post. If you follow me elsewhere, apologies for the repetitive post. XD;

I felt like AX was over in a flash! I was so pushed for time right before the con, and then when the con actually started, it was over just like that. :'D Maybe it's because I didn't do much at this con... usually I at least go to a few gatherings to take pics or to get pics taken of, but this time I didn't go to any. I'm kind of sad I missed the World God Only Knows gathering, because I'd have liked to see a bunch of Keimas all playing their PSP! XD; They must've had some epic poses!

Will be typing up a huuuuuuge con report after this! With pics!

While I was away, my proof copy of my NaNoWriMo novel arrived!! So fast! I ordered it on the 29th, I think? I got it on the 1st in less than 2 days??? (this was one of the things that made me go, omg, I don't have enough time!! yet they managed to send the finished copy to me so quickly, haha) My parents called me while I was at the con telling me that my book arrived. I was like, "eeee, I want to see it!"

So yes. Here's the book now that I have it in my hands!

Been catching up with some manga today, like KHR, Bakuman, Skip Beat, and Noblesse. I have a lot more to catch up with! *__* Oh, I also received my assignment for parallelsfic. I so need to get a headstart on this. I matched one fandom, but I think the others are doable too! Just need to do some review and consume some new series that I've been meaning to get into anyway. XD; Wonder if I should still write a letter to my writer even though assignments have already gone out... X3;;

I also have a ton of comments, messages, and emails to get through, so if I haven't gotten to you yet... I'm getting there! XD; If you're afraid I might've overlooked something though, feel free to make a new comment or something! XD

When I went through the prompts list to find a prompt to write a treat for during Madness, I came upon your letter with your Mekakushi no Kuni prompt and thought, huh, what if you were my writer? And you were, wow!

Thank you darkicedragon for all the treats! I knew it was you. XD Noblesse! Tegami Bachi! I'm so happy you wrote Noblesse. :) Tegami Bachi was sure unexpected. ;D

I managed to write 12k words in one week. It's like NaNo all over again! *flails* Yes, one week, because I didn't start until very near the deadline. It was one week of crazy writing! After NaNo, 1000 words has become so easy, except nothing happens for me in 1k words. Which then meant the fics got longer, and longer, and longer... when I was reading other people's Yuletide fics, I was very envious of how much they could say with much fewer words than me.

I came home very late yesterday and was going to crash after not having slept much at all (I even fell asleep while playing video games with my brother during our family gathering, but right after we stopped shooting zombies and started playing something else, I couldn't keep my eyes open anymore). So yeah, I was going to crash but then Yuletide went live. Of course I had to forgo sleep to get at my gift fics, but even then, I only managed to read one fic before I just couldn't stay awake anymore, and since I stayed up so late and didn't sleep much the day before, it meant I woke up later than usual too. :'D Anyway, on to the lovely fics!

music is no match for happiness (and grandness none for music) (Mekakushi no Kuni, Namiki)
This is just pure love. Namiki is perhaps my most favorite character of all times, except almost no fanwork exists for the series, so I never have the chance to fangirl over him or the series! This piece reminds me why I adore Namiki so much, and it makes me want to read the series all over again (I already have, many times). I also feel like I should be writing the next chapter of my Mekakuni fic, and I think I will after Yuletide. :) The prose in this piece is really beautiful, and Namiki is just so very Namiki. I will be rereading this a lot!

Explore (Noblesse, M-21)
This fic made me giggle a lot. It's just M-21 exploring Frankenstein's house, which is such a normal thing to do, but when it's Frankenstein's house + M-21's paranoia... *g* I was so amused that I couldn't even leave a comment right away since I was busy laughing. Oh M-21. <3 I love him lots, and this fic has him just right. :)

Never Give Up (Tegami Bachi, Vincent Alcott)
Minor character love! It took me a bit to remember who he was. It's been a while since I watched the first season. *g* But oh man, this piece, this piece makes me want to write. I am amazed at how much he was fleshed out here since he doesn't show up much at all in the series. I think I might be in love with this character now, and I am also very inspired by what he goes through here.

Since I was away all day on the 24th, I didn't get to check out the full prompts list for Madness. ): I tried to browse it at my brother's house, but it wasn't like I could write there! I'm still contemplating if I should furiously write a treat in the last few hours before Madness fics go live, but I've also been having doubts about my writing. :') But then, my lovely recipients have been so awesome and have left such nice comments already (it makes me want to write mooore for them), so I guess my writing isn't completely terrible?

I haven't managed to read much other fic yet outside of my gifts, but there are also two awesome Yoroshiku Master fics this year! Both about Rihito. *g* So my Yoroshiku Master craving has been sated (well, mostly). I just have my Oresama Teacher craving left. I suppose I'll have to attack that one day myself. ;)

Stuff about Yuletide that amused me #2: Two of my gifts are exactly the same length at 1092 words. *g* Must be a magical number!

Noblesse
I'm really liking this web manhwa. I usually don't like vampire stories, but the humor in this charmed me. I keep expecting Rai to be super good at everything, but he fumbles a lot with modern things like here with ramen. The mix of action and humor is great. The mahwa is originally published here every week. (M-21 is growing on me!)

Working!!
On a whim, I watched Working!! this week. I found it cute. :3 I quite liked Takanashi Souta because he's fairly responsible, and I think he'd totally get along with Asuka from Otomen with their love of cute things.

Kuroshitsuji II
Didn't think I'd be watching this, but Nico Nico Douga has an official channel for it, which makes things interesting. I watched the first episode with everyone's comments running across the episode. In episode 2, when one of the characters (I won't say who for those who plan to watch S2) broke down the dam, everyone went, "SHIZUO"! A bunch of comments like that flew across the top. Shizuo is sure famous for his violence. As for the anime itself...I have no idea what's going on. =/ Need explanation please.

Fic writing, CMX manga
I've been poking at my fic, Memories of the Future for days, yet I've only got around 900 words for the next chapter. I even bought volumes 7-9 of the manga in English (I already had Land of the Blindfolded in Chinese) as reference. I then found out that CMX has closed??? I guess this means I need to hurry up and try to find volumes 1-6 somewhere. =/ This really sucks because CMX actually publishes a lot of shoujo series that I like, such as Tsukuba Sakura's works!
