My friend code for Pokemon. Add me? :D And because "Lucathia" wouldn't fit for a name (BOO!) I went with a mangled version of it when I started the game. ^^;

I finally have my wi-fi set up!! I immediately went to the trade center in Jubilife and started trading. XD;; Managed to get myself a Chimchar and a Turtwig from trading. Now I'm looking for some Pearl-only pokemon. Glameow and a whole bunch of others, since I don't have any.

Next on my list of to-do is to learn how to breed pokemon! I don't quite get how it works yet. ^^;

Chatot's move Chatter makes it so that you can record your voice as Chatot's sound when it comes out to battle, when it faints, etc. I recorded "Hello" to test it out and laughed sooo much when Chatot fainted and a "Hello" came out. XD; I tried recording "mada mada dane" but it was too long to fit.

I just got my fifth badge. Still a long way to go~

I wish I had Wi-Fi! *Lost one of her legendaries before she even got to see it*

Good luck with the Breeding! Just wondering, what is it that you don't quite get? Maybe I can help! =3

Did something incredibly stupid. Went into the legendary's cave thingy and left without fighting it 'cause I didn't have enough pokeballs. Thought it'd be there when I came back, but it'd disappeared by then. And I saved the game before going back, so...Yeah...No more Azelf for me D:

Yeah, I don't have Wi-Fi. No hotspots in my country XD;

Yep, two pokemon of the opposite gender. The egg will be the type of Pokemon the mother is. Oh, but you have to leave compatible Pokemon. Like. Uhh...Say, Piplup with Buizel or some other Water type. Basically, they have to be of the same Egg Group. This'll help you find compatible Pokemon to breed:

Ditto can breed with anything. But Legendaries (Except Manaphy) can't breed. Ditto's good for when you want a one-shot Pokemon like Piplup or something, but the one you ended up with is Male.

There should be a Poketch function thingy that lets you check to see if your Pokemon have laid an egg. Then you just go collect it from the daycare.

Yep. Legendaries are one-shots too XD; Ahh, I weep for I lack just a few more Pokemon to see before I get my National Dex...

Cranidos are cute! Both of mine were male. (One's evolved into a Rampardos though.)

Well, I'm not entirely sure where to get Ditto in Diamond XD; But I'm sure you can find one on Wi-fi! As for me, I'm going to transfer my Ditto from FireRed once I get to use Pal Park.

I don't think there are any people with Ditto in the game. Could be wrong though. Hmm..what about that Friends Code thing? I think you can trade with people whom you have the Friends Code of, right? I think there's a community on LJ for that? Or try the Serebii forums.

You can only get Skull fossils in Diamond. To get Shieldon, you need to trade with someone who has Pearl =D

You get Piplup. The eggs always hatch into the 'youngest' form of whatever Pokemon's bred. So you get a Budew if you breed Roserade or Mime Jr if you breed Mr Mime.

Ah, that's right. Forgot about those. But they're fossils from the previous generations, so I think maybe only after you get the National Dex? XD

Oh, and about that Roserade and Mr Mime examples I gave earlier. Apparently, there are some...requirements?

...but most Pre-Evos are available in the wild anyway~

Yeah, Prinlup doesn't need any special stuff, thankfully ^^

Glad you found the site helpful =D

Pokemon do learn moves in the Daycare and if they already know 4 moves, they'll auto-delete a random one =X

Hi!

I visit your journal from time to time, and I just had to say something when you made this post. I don't know anyone who plays pokemon (other than me sadly), and the new Diamond and Pearl versions don't seem as fun without others.

I have Pokemon Pearl, but I haven't gotten that far yet (still trying to get Cherubi from the sweet honey trees, after you slather honey on a tree you have to wait 12 hours for a pokemon, any longer and you'll have to start over again >_<). After I get some pokemon from the sweet honey trees, I'm moving at full speed towards next gym.

Pokemon breeding isn't difficult. As long as they're in the same egg group, they should be able to produce an egg, even if they don't like each other. XD However if the day care man says that they'd rather play with other pokemon rather than each other, it's probably a no-go. The baby will be the same species as the mother and it might takes some techniques from the father, which is why breeding is handy. Oh yeah, and there's an application that shows you if there's an egg. When it happens you see an egg between your pokemon on the bottom screen. ^^

If you don't mind me asking, how do you set up wi-fi? I've never thought about setting it up, but it sounds fun.

Really? I've only been getting Combees. I like them, but I'm disappointed that they don't learn anything new or evolve unless they're female.

Breeding is great because sometimes the baby can learn moves that it would never learn by leveling up. Some breeders make the most out of TM moves that way. I don't do much breeding because I'm always running off to places. I like exploring you see. ^_^;

I don't have a wireless router, but I did see something in the video game store for the NDS that connects wi-fi. I think I'll buy that the next time I go. Maybe we could add each other when I get it done?
