LSK new edition V3

Oh oh, there's not a lot of new merchandise for LSK this August, but the new volume of LSK V3 is coming out!!!! (*hoping for more announcements*)

It comes with a super gorgeous poster of Neo and Aldrizzt, ahhhhhhh (scroll down to see it). /must try to get this somehow

I wonder if Kingstone or books.com.tw will have the poster... or if it's only at the event...

I've yet to read much of Sunken Moon, but the new merchandise for it is super pretty. I might buy the artbook...

They're also selling K side:red and side:blue. I wonder if I should buy the Chinese edition. XD; I'd understand it better than the Japanese novels!

ETA: Yu Wo's post about LSK V3. Includes a better pic of the poster! And two images of the insert art! Silent Eagle! Sun wearing Dragon's Saint Brigandine! And Neo and Aldrizzt! How do Aldrizzt's clothes work, I don't understand it.

ETA2: The Neo&Aldrizzt poster comes with the book at the event and at convenience stores. Online bookstores will give a poster of the V3 cover. Boo.

Oh my, oh no, that poster *^*!!! Aaaaaaaah I want a poster featuring Neo too aaaaaaah~~~~ But it's so hard to get my hands on things, sob. If they really sell it online and you manage to grab it, I demand scans!

Neo!!!! Neo~~~~~. He's looking super dashing~~~. (Oh oh, this must have been what J.U. was drawing earlier this year~~~)

Somehow they're really going all out with the tape this month? XDD Tape for LSK, tape for Sunken Moon! I haven't gotten very far with Sunken Moon (only read half of volume 1), but the main character is this guy who's cursed to speak things opposite of what he thinks. He dies right at the beginning and wakes up in what I guess can be considered the after life. In this world, people who are originally part of the after life world don't get revived if they die, but people like the main character can get revived over and over. They just have to pay money each time. That's all I got out of the scenario so far, haha. XD;; It seems like he'll be going to school and will need some kind of job as well.

Ooooh, that sounds interesting. There seem to be so many characters, judging by the art! Wow, school, wouldn't have expected that going by their clothes, aah~~

Weh~~ I feel like cosplaying Neo again~~~ Someone be my Aldrizzt! (Or Chasel, but J.U. never officially drew him in her set of designs, or did she?) Aah, Awaitsun truly is handsome. Even if he still looks different to what I imagined him later on, it actually fits with the first impession I had, aha!
...Is that a piece of abdomen I spot there though. Boy, pull up your pants! (btw I'm super excited about his buttcape. HANDSOME MEN IN BUTTCAPES ARE MY LIFE. And I thought Aldrizzt was wearing speedos in the insert art for a second, wtf. Also, wow, Grisia's hair is so short.... I'm so used to second manhua design/kiyu art length hair on him..... Is Neo wearing thigh-high boots?) Grisia's face in the insert is the best.
Do we know who's getting the character introductions this volume yet? My bet is still on Elmairy and Neo. Or maybe Aivis if it's strickly 38th Gen Twelve Holy Knights for now, since he comes along to pick them up in the end. Could be Awaitsun too though... Or Mike.... Aaaaaah. But either way, Elmairy, Elmairy! If it's not Elmairy I'm upset.

Whoa, you're right! Grisia's hair is really short in that image!! It's much longer in other drawings of Grisia J.U. has done... like the character design art in V1.

How are you able to tell what kind of shoes Neo is wearing!!! Is it by the folds of his pants???

I'm guessing it'll be... Elmairy and Awaitsun???? (but Neo!!!!) Who will be the four extra characters, ahhhhhhh. Though it does seem likely that the focus would be on the 38th gen Twelve Holy Knights for now, hmmmmm. (I wish more than 2 were featured per book, like in No Hero, though those are in black and white. XDD Elmairy! Neo! Awaitsun! Aldrizzt! Mike! Austin! Ann! Okay, that might be too many....)

(okay now after recovering from a certain delivery I received today I would like to inform you that I LOVE BOTH YOUR POTATOEFACES TO BITS for a more accurate reaction please refer to my twitter)

I want it as a wallscroll aaaaah. Not the tiny V2 rerelease cover Roland wallscroll I have size but like those huge wallscrolls you get on cons, at least around here... except I want it in this nice and crisp print quality on silky fabric, yupyup. Aaaaaaah, just give me handsome Neo to put on my wall! And I really need a cosplay partner who knows LSK, ah... need to find one when I'm back in the north- |D I really just want to cosplay everyone, this is a problem

Aldrizzt's clothes... eh. Most of it seems rather simple, but eh, I'm not sure how the top part works either! It's like the innermost layer of Lesus' clothes... there seems to be no way to open it in the front, but with that embroidery and the times they live in it can't be all too stretchy. Maybe there's buttons on the back! Okay, and... I don't really see enough of the lower half to comment on how that works. Is he even wearing pants? (I mean, tight pants, or maybe wide pants, or is he wearing some kind of skirt robe over them.... who knows!) ...Okay, after a closer look, I understand your confusion |D;;; Aldrizzt, what even are you wearing! and what's with the shape of Neo's collar

I want Neo's cape, aah... It looks so expensive!! I'd ask "is this really the right kind of cape to go adventuring in", but eh, this is Neo we're talking about. Fighting him for his cloak is about as good an idea as fighting Carol for hers... If you have the power to defend your clothes, you can wear whatever you can afford, aha!
About his shoes, actually, if you look at his right leg (aka. left from your view),it looks like there's the edge of a high boot there. But yeah, it also goes along with the folds! There shouldn't be such folds on his mid-thighs if there isn't at least something wrapped around his legs, and since you usually only put fancy random leg belts on one leg, I doubt it's that. (Though I actually think mid-calf to knee high boots fit Neo better! Combat boot style!!)

For the extra characters, hm... I think Elijah would be reasonable, being the original Hell Knight and all (though I don't know which volume I'd put him on). I'd highly appreciate Neo because Neo is great, but there's just so many characters that would make sense... Mike and Awaitsun, as they're the other religion's heads, but also Pink or maybe Scarlet... Adair would be great, and little Elaro (foreshadowing aye).... Charlotte would be quite the spoiler for her volume, but she is a candidate after all and you said Roland's intro in v2 was spoilerish too... Aaaaah I want Aldrizzt too, though I doubt he'd get an intro. Same with the pope. (Just give me Chasel, who doesn't even show up in person in the main story, or does he- I don't even think his name's been mentioned so far!) I want intros for /everyone/ ;A;

*peering at Aldrizzt's clothes* I feel like no matter what race he was, people would be staring at his beautiful clothing all day long...

But it looks kind of like he has a thin, tight fitting black shirt on (or his face is a considerably lighter shade of black/gray than his arms and abdomen.) and a vest... thing... that's fastened on by buckles on maroon straps. (I'm going to cry at this rate. Everyone looks so cool in their outfits, but how are people supposed to cosplay that? Especially Grisia's frilly clothing... Let's all go as Hell Knight Platoon members! Skin tight leotards for everyone!) That cape looks pretty, though... Too bad wearing those kind of really cool capes makes people stare at you funny nowadays. His belt and gloves are nice too...

o.o? But what would Aldrizzt be wearing during that chapter where Grisia borrowed that black undershirt? It must have been awfully drafty in that cave too...

And Neo looks so... Dependable? I guess that should be the closest word? I was expecting him to look scarier somehow. (Has no idea what she was really expecting.)

How do they even put these clothes on. All of those buckles. Why do you even have buckles, Aldrizzt. Does this mean, that when he removes his black undershirt for Grisia... his abdomen is exposed?? ROFL. We would need to train and train and train in order to wear those leotards!!! And even those leotards are too fancy ahhhhh.

Neo looks so... I'd say... refreshing? Very approachable too. |D;;;

But omg, that fried chicken shirt. If you hadn't mentioned it over at PR, I wouldn't have put two and two together, pffft, Ah Ye!!! He really does have a shirt with the fried chicken logo. Please excuse me as I hug my stomach and bend over laughing again. XDDD (So cute~~~~ Ah Ye~~~)

The fried chicken shirt is such a happy shirt. Just looking at it makes me happy. XDDD Cosplaying it wouldn't be a bad choice!! XD;; though even if you bring a bucket of fried chicken, people probably wouldn't recognize you... (you would need a Charles with you too, then maybe...)

Whoa, how huge are those wallscrolls? I do love big posters, but wall space is limited. XD;;; The long vertical posters are a pretty cool size (I should hang the ones I have hm...). Yu Wo's post was updated and it seems that the poster of Neo and Aldrizzt only comes with the book at the event and in convenience stores. Online bookstores will sell V3 with a poster of the V3 cover (which is also nice, but I already have that poster!!!). So. I'm getting someone to buy it for me at the event. Hopefully everything works out. |D;;;;

I hope hope hope I can get my hands on the poster (though even if not, I'm guessing the art of Neo & Aldrizzt will be the pull out mini poster in the book). Let's just hope there's be more artwork of Aldrizzt that actually shows his lover half xDD probably not on this volume, but maybe later... Whats the diffrence between the 1rst , 2nd and 3rd versions?
Do all of them have illustrations ?

There are only two versions! By V3, I meant volume 3 of the 2nd edition. The first edition is completely printed. 8 volumes. Art by Yasha. Volumes 4-6 come bundled with short side story manhua drawn by Yasha. Volume 4 has character designs for all Twelve Holy Knights.

The 2nd edition is a re-release of the series. So far, 3 volumes of it are out in traditional Chinese. The covers feature new art drawn by J.U. Each volume features 2 character designs, a small pull out poster, and a few black and white insert images. There is no manhua bundled with any of the volumes. There will be 8 volumes in all, just like the 1st edition. The first edition might eventually get phased out (but that's just my guess). J.U. is drawing the covers for the sequel, 39 LSK, so collectors might want to collect the series with art all drawn by the same person.
