「为什么。。不、你。。」雷瑟断断续续的说着，似乎不知道该从何处说起。我只希望他能快点松开捂住我嘴巴的手——我快断气了！但比起这个，我更希望自己快从梦中醒过来。犹豫了一阵后，他终于下了某种结论。
雷瑟看着我，「你一定是在我当上太阳骑士前认识的人。」
So I always thought of this fic as light Lesus/Grisia, but wow is the translation shippy. XD; Grisia's voice sounds better than in the original fic, me feels, haha. I adored it. SilverManjusaka took some liberties with the translation to make it sound more natural. I thought the result was pretty neat.
I've been wanting to translate some of my fics myself, but my attempts have not gotten far at all (because what is composing in Chinese even). I certainly wouldn't be able to make it sound like this. :3
So, today was the ending to Kamigami no Asobi! I adored the ending! I really didn't expect to like this anime so much heading in, but ahhhh, I really adored it. (...I guess the parallels to Legend of Sun Knight helped. XD;; I'll take it anywhere I can get, haha)
Stuff I liked:
♥ Yui being pretty awesome. I liked how active she was and like, never really moped around or anything.
♥ The focus on each of the gods. When the beginning episodes were going through each god's story, I was pretty much going asdf;sajdfsajf; at each episode because how are these characters so endearing??? Hades was so cute in his episode, and Tsukito as well, and Takeru, and and... basically everyone...
♥ How the anime bridged together all the individual stories from the games into one coherent plot. The game seems to focus on romance more, but I really adored the anime for focusing on the bonds of friendship. Guuuuuh, I loved how all the gods bonded with each other here and were like, but it would be so sad when our time comes to graduate, because wouldn't that mean we would have to part? ;_____;
♥ Running gag of Thoth slamming Yui against the wall, ahahahaha. XD; He never failed to have a wall slam eveeeeery single episode (even if Yui's not there lol) (please tell me someone put together gifs of all 12 of his wall slams)
♥ the loki & balder plot. I really loved that that was the plot that tied everything together!
♥ The ending. THE ENDING. It all came full circle to the first episode. When I watched the first episode, I was kind of laughing at it, but then when episode 11 ended, I was all, waaaait, that battle in episode 1? It's probably the final battle that'll be in episode 12? It'll probably be against Balder????? Annnnd ahhhhhh it was exactly that and I just really loved how the series made my mindset change so much because wow do I feel differently about that scene now.

♥ The ED and OP songs featuring the six gods, divided by their origins! Such pretty songs! Feels so epic!
♥ all the feels from episode 11 ahhhhhhh. and just when episode 10 made me burst my gut laughing with that cinderella play.
♥ Hades and his misfortune XD Tsukito and his note-taking! Loki and his pranks (and love for Balder!)! Poor Thor who is always in the background!
So yeah. I enjoyed the series. XD; I'll play the game sometime, but I really enjoyed the direction the anime took the series. Dunno how much I'll like it with all the separate routes.

Balder and Loki. The LSK parallels are everywhere. YES YES THAT SCENE WITH BALDER HUGGING HIMSELF AHHHHHHH *flails* how everyone is trying to save balder because they're all such good friends now I'm so in love with this ;___;
The ending was so great. I loved how bittersweet it was. (Apollo is totally Yui's man here eh....) those goodbyes. And that last scene!!!! I was totally expecting them to pop back!!!! (What would Yui's family think... Suddenly like 8 hot guys show up at their doorstep....)
It would be hilarious if these gods decide to attend the actual human school with Yui now xD;;;
AGAIN I SHIP LOKI AND BALDER SO MUCH SERIOUSLY HOW CANON CAN YOU GET.
(So Thor is the eternal lightbulb eh... Somehow I don't think he minds xD)

What would Yui's family think indeed.... XD (I'm sure someone will fic this, yes??? Like, the gods attending human school...) Though I wonder if there will ever be a second season. XD; (There's no second game to base it off of though, but still!! Hakuoki got more than one season! And game!)

About LSK parallels, strangely the Hiroshi Kamiya voiced Baldr didn't match very well my own image of Sun Knight. I mean I visualize him with a slightly strong and not so kind voice. Basically not so kind...^-^ Maybe because we know the inner thoughts of the Sun Knight despite his gentle and radiant appearence?
But my favourite character is the strict and hot-tempered Thot sensei (the japanese spelling of his name is quite funny to me and didn't match his severe image) . The man has an unsettling liking for punching the wall and speaking with people nose to nose, but for some reason I like his detached way to look at his students' experiences.
Among the gods students my favourite is maybe Susanoo even if I like also Tsukihito and Loki. But I've appreciated the whole team, also Yui because she didn't fall for none of them. If it'd happened the show would be a little boring.^-^

Date: 2014-07-07 09:11 pm (UTC)I was mostly amused that Balder, the God of Light, has golden hair and blue eyes, and LSK used the same description. XD; (a crossover between these two series would be a lot of fun...) I imagine Grisia's voice to be a bit whiny, hahaha, in his head and in private, at least! XDDD;;; It can be lethal against his enemies, but most of the time, he probably tries for a gentle voice in public.
I really loved the wall slamming haha. XD
The Japanese gods were really cute, I thought. |D;; Tsukito all expressionless while his brother was much more hot tempered. They really balanced each other out~~.
