Is anyone interested in writing a Legend of Sun Knight round robin story with me? :3 I would very much like to work on a collaborative story. XD;
The basic idea behind it is that several authors will take turns writing the story and passing it along. There will be a central idea, but after that, anything goes! You just have to write a certain word count, and then you pass it on to the next person. The story doesn't have to make sense by the end. (In fact, I'm hoping it will be utter crack, though maybe it could turn out serious) The aim is just to have fun. :)
I used to looove writing 3 word stories where you had to pass on the story after three words and the next person had to continue it with 3 words. The results were always hilarious because you never knew how the next person would continue it. (Though, I'm proposing more than 3 words here, hahaha. Maybe something like 200~500 words. Not too long that it would take a long time to write, but not too short that nothing substantive has happened.)
If we can get maybe at least three authors on board (more can feel free to join in at anytime!), we can get something going. :D /wishful thinking
ETA: I'm going to try starting a Round Robin fic here in this post! :3;;
1. I will make a comment with the beginning of a fic, with a title in the subject line. Reply to this comment with a continuation of the story.
2. Each continuation only needs to be around 100~500 words, but we won't be keeping track or anything. XD; Shorter or longer = both are okay.
3. You only have to wait for one other author to comment before you in order to take another turn.
4. You can feel free to start your own Round Robin stories too! (Just make a new comment and label the subject line with the title for the new fic and we can start threading with you! \o\)
5. If you are an anonymous commenter, feel free to sign your part with your name, or you could keep it anonymous if you want. XD;
6. Feel free to join in at any time!
7. Feel free to comment/respond to the stories!

Re: Reply 2 Story 2: A Mission
Date: 2014-05-20 04:46 am (UTC)“WOW!!! I can't believe it! That clunky-looking knight was actually that Storm Knight hottie? I thought the Son of the God of War was good looking enough already!”
“But that haughty fortuneteller isn't too bad either. That whip... Don't tell me he's--”
“The Moon Knight? Why would the Moon and Storm Knight be together on a mission, much less in the Kingdom of Moon Orchid? Can't they just stay put and stop interfering in our religion?”
“Don't say that, dear! I wouldn't have had the chance to see this eye candy if they'd stayed put! Besides, the Church of the God of Light has twelve lookers and we only have one. I don't mind if they're willing to share.”
“That rather offkey bard should be the Earth Knight, right? What's he doing trying to seduce women like that?”
“I wonder if the Earth Knight is willing to perform more of his flute music after he retires...”
“Didn't the Storm Knight mention the Sun Knight?”
A hush fell over the crowd as the overly loud question rang out. The three holy knights sneakily glanced at their leader standing on stage. Everyone in the congregation had their faces suddenly turned into 囧's as they realized who the only possible candidate for the Sun Knight was.
Even the God of Dance looked shocked. His face then darkened.
“So. Sun Knight of the God of Light. Hear my proposal! We shall have a competition of dancing to decide which path you choose to follow. You shall clearly see by the end of this match, that the way of motion is superior to the path of the light!”

The Storm Knight looked extremely relieved about the Sun Knight's short speech and removed his hands from his ears. The God of Dance looked even more furious. He snapped his fingers twice and the Sun Knight was gracefully immobilized in the air.
The three remaining holy knights' hands leapt to their weapons, wishing that the back up the Pope had promised had arrived sooner. Even the two other church leaders standing to the side looked worried, as any god, even one as weak and out of shape as the God of Dance, would be a force to be reckoned with if it came down to a fight of brute force. Then they all realized they weren't able to move any further than from the positions they had taken in preparation for retaliation. Even the audience didn't twitch a muscle.
Then loud thunderclaps broke out over the scene, despite the clear blue sky and shining sun. By the third thunderclap, a voice rang out over the scene, louder than the thunder had been. The Son of the God of War fell to his knees, along with most of the crowd.
“WE HAVE REASON TO BELIEVE THE GOD OF DANCE HAS VIOLATED THE SACRED RULES IMPOSED BY THE MIGHTIEST OF US IN THE CONTRACT OF THE GODS. IN USING HIS OWN POWERS TO UNDERMINE THE FAITH OF THE RESPECTED GOD OF LIGHT AND TO ATTEMPT TO GAIN POWER FOR HIS OWN FOLLOWING, WE HEREBY CONDEMN THE GOD OF DANCE TO A CENTURY'S WORTH OF CONFINEMENT WITHIN THE REALM OF THE GODS. THE GOD OF DANCE IS ALSO PROHIBITED FROM USING HIS POWER TO DISTRIBUTE BLESSINGS UPON THE PEOPLE FOR A PERIOD OF TWO HUNDRED YEARS.”
The Sun Knight daintily fell to the ground as the shell-shocked God of Dance yelled, “B-But! Big brother!”
“PLEASE. I HAVE NO WISH TO BE ASSOCIATED WITH A WANNABE YOUNGER BROTHER LIKE YOU. WARFARE IS NOT A SHOW MERELY PUT ON TO IMPRESS OTHERS. IT IS A MATTER OF THE GRAVEST CONSIDERATIONS AND THE TOOL THAT ALTERS HISTORY.”
Another thunderclap rang out and the God of Dance vanished.

Ahh... Lots of apologies. One apology for triple posting, a HUGE no-no on forums, but I wanted this out there. (And it would have been a double post, but I went over the word limit, 4.3k.) Then more apologies for caps abuse. (I haven't figured out how to use italics here.) An apology to the commenter with the plot bunny for me being too uneducated about dance battles to write about one. And a final apology for anyone who was planning to put a chapter up and will probably only have an epilogue left to do.
Re: Reply 2 Story 2: A Mission
Date: 2015-03-11 09:33 am (UTC)A few days after the mission, Judgement knocked on Storm knight's door. "come in" was the tired reply.
Judgement looked around the room. There was papers every where. He couldn't give even more work to this guy who already had enormous bags under his eyes. "nevermind." he said as he turned around to leave. Storm had to say one last thing "if it's about a mission I'm sure Sun will happily accept." Judgement nodded, everyone else who was available had refused, sun was the only one left.
He knocked on the door and heard a voice within mutter something about curses just before sun opened the door. "Greetings Brother Judgement. The God of Light has blessed us with this fine morning and sun believes it must not be wasted." he said and started closing the door again.
"You still haven't done it have you?" Judgement asked, ignoring sun's look of impatience.
"whatever could it be that you would ask sun to wait from spreading the benevolent god of light's love?" Sun replied, smiling the trademark sun smile.
It was Judgement's turn to give sun a look. "It's been three days and you still haven't given your report."
"what report could Brother Judgement be referring to?'
"...you need to report to the king about the mission." he said, it was just three days ago, surely sun couldn't have forgotten about it that fast. Sun's smile had frozen on his face as he realized what judgement was talking about.
"did it go that badly?' he wondered, a crease forming between his eyes "or maybe sun had still not fully remembered about the mission.
"I'd heard the God of Dance had shown up" Judgement said, deciding to help his friend remember what he'd forgotten. He was shocked at the look of horror on sun's face as he quickly closed the door.
-------------
First of all, sorry if it's not very good, this is my first time posting a story.
also I had wanted judgement to show up as "backup", he'd also be in disguise but it didn't turn out that way. Thank you for the stories before this, I loved reading them. Please enjoy the part I wrote.
