Is anyone interested in writing a Legend of Sun Knight round robin story with me? :3 I would very much like to work on a collaborative story. XD;

The basic idea behind it is that several authors will take turns writing the story and passing it along. There will be a central idea, but after that, anything goes! You just have to write a certain word count, and then you pass it on to the next person. The story doesn't have to make sense by the end. (In fact, I'm hoping it will be utter crack, though maybe it could turn out serious) The aim is just to have fun. :)

I used to looove writing 3 word stories where you had to pass on the story after three words and the next person had to continue it with 3 words. The results were always hilarious because you never knew how the next person would continue it. (Though, I'm proposing more than 3 words here, hahaha. Maybe something like 200~500 words. Not too long that it would take a long time to write, but not too short that nothing substantive has happened.)

If we can get maybe at least three authors on board (more can feel free to join in at anytime!), we can get something going. :D /wishful thinking

ETA: I'm going to try starting a Round Robin fic here in this post! :3;;
1. I will make a comment with the beginning of a fic, with a title in the subject line. Reply to this comment with a continuation of the story.
2. Each continuation only needs to be around 100~500 words, but we won't be keeping track or anything. XD; Shorter or longer = both are okay.
3. You only have to wait for one other author to comment before you in order to take another turn.
4. You can feel free to start your own Round Robin stories too! (Just make a new comment and label the subject line with the title for the new fic and we can start threading with you! \o\)
5. If you are an anonymous commenter, feel free to sign your part with your name, or you could keep it anonymous if you want. XD;
6. Feel free to join in at any time!
7. Feel free to comment/respond to the stories!

...Somehow, he had missed the point at which it had been best to jump in and clear up the misunderstanding.

Not like Neo would have listened anyway, he never did once he set his mind on some "truth" of his - at least if it was about this kind of without-Neo's-intervention-not-lethal-kind of business. Sometimes Aldrizzt was unsure wether his travelling companion just loved messing around or if he really took these things seriously. Probably both. Anyway, he would have expected for his Judgement Knight to think twice if the blond haired man started spouting such outrage... Maybe this was some kind of motherly love for his student blinding his eyes? Unexpected, but not impossible.

Either way he missed his chance and thus his only option now was to quietly follow the two and pretend he did, in fact, not exist. If people where staring at his cloaked figure before he had no words to describe the townspeople's reaction to seeing both the former Sun and Judgement Knights marching together with grim expressions while being followed by a suspicious guy who hid his face behind a cloak in bright daylight. But little did it stop at the commoners; even the holy knights of the temple jumped in shock when they saw Neo and Chasel approach with expressions as grim as if they were going to war.

"Where is the Sun Knight?" Chasel almost bellowed at the first holy knight that caught his attention before Neo had the chance to do the same. The people here still regarded him as the former Sun Knight no matter his raggedy adventurer ways after all so there was still some image to keep.

The poor young man (not much more than a squire by his age but Aldrizzt could never be so sure with humans) sqeaked and jumped, but hurriedly saluted.

"I saw Knight-Captain Sun head towards the Judge's Complex earlier today, Sir!"

Chasel nodded sternly as Neo rushed passed the confused and slightly intimidated holy knight. Then he and Aldrizzt gave chase. Better catch Neo before he got to his student. No matter how upset Chasel himself may be he would surely keep him in check... or so the dark elf hoped. Thankfully, while the Holy Temple seemed one of the few if not the only place Neo was able to successfully navigate without taking more than two wrong turns, the Judge's Complex presented more of a challenge to him and they were able to catch up with him in time. Maybe this was the time to take word and explain...

Or not. There they went. Oh well. Better not get separated or the knights here might mistake him for a fugitive.

After rushing to and fro each and every interrogation room they could find and meeting neither Grisia nor Chasel's student Lesus their steps finally came to a halt in front of what looked like... a bathroom door? But just as Aldrizzt wanted to ask why they stood in front of the door instead of entering if one of them wanted to use the toilet he heard the voices from inside. Well, more like sounds really. He listened closely, trying to make out any words or at least the vague situation behind the door, and when he stepped closer to the door to eavesdrop he noticed the other men did the same.

"Aaaah~ Don't be like that!"

That was definitely Grisia's voice, and in a whiny tone at that. What followed it was a deep-voiced chuckle.

Outside the bathroom door, three ears were pressed against it in stark silence. Not even quiet rasps of breath could be heard. Aldrizzt felt terribly guilty for eavesdropping.

“Don’t laugh, Lesus! This is my FIRST time…” Grisia’s voice cried out from the other side in indignation, while the deep chuckles continued.

“And I’m sure it won’t be the last,” Lesus retorted.

“Shouldn't we do something…” Aldrizzt’s mind was running wild while the heat on his face only grew more intense. ‘Wasn’t this all a big misunderstanding to begin with?’ he thought to himself.

“Shhhhh,” Neo hushed sharply, and Chasel shot him an accusing glare.

“Why did you warn me if we weren't going to save my student?” Chasel whispered in protest.

“Quiet! We don’t really know what’s going on just yet.” Neo spat back.

Aldrizzt slowly swiveled his head from side to side while taking a step back, hoping to quietly depart. However, a loud cry made him freeze…

“Ouch!” Grisia’s scream was accompanied by a loud ‘thump’. “I said to BE CAREFUL! I already can’t use a sword as it is! You’re going to make things worse,” he whined pitifully.

“Grisia, please… you brought this upon yourself.” Lesus sighed heavily, “but this really is too tight! You need to relax.” The voice was clearly still riddled with mirth.

“Oh my God of Light!” Chasel and Neo squeaked in hushed tones at the same time.

“I think we have to worry about your student, too, Chasel!” Neo cried and flew into a frenzy. “The Sun Knight cannot be taken by a man. This will ruin our reputation!”

'Even more,' Aldrizzt added silently.

BAM! Neo sent the bathroom door flying with a powerful kick, and the three eavesdroppers were met with a sight no one had imagined.

The trio were met with surprised gazes from the two who had been hidden behind the door. Their facial expressions reacted accordingly. Neo’s jaw was slack and Chasel’s lips were pressed into a thin line. Aldrizzt was clearly fighting a smile, shoulders shaking with restraint. They stared at each other in a deadlock of silence. He was incredibly amused by the scene before him.

With both hands, Lesus had a hold of a small, blue jar. The jar had an elaborately decorated sticker on it. On the sticker were the words: World’s Sweetest Blueberry Cookies. At the top of the jar, was Grisia’s arm… no hand in sight.

“What the HELL is going on in here!” Neo finally found some words to throw at them.

“I… umm…” Grisia, on the other hand, was completely at a loss. “I….”

“He got his hand stuck in a cookie jar,” Lesus said flatly, his face nor voice betraying any emotions.

Aldrizzt was impressed with his quick recovery at the sight of an audience. 'Hadn't he just been laughing?' He continued to fight his own laughter.

“It’s all that bastard, Earth’s, fault!” Grisia cried. “I think this is his revenge for me ruining another one of his attempts with a female cleric last night…”

“…”

Aldrizzt could no longer hold back his laughter. He laughed himself to tears, wondering if the God of Light was real and had it out for him, an evil Dark Elf, in the form of his representatives- past and present.

I am not very good at writing humour, or writing narratives, but how can one NOT go somewhere funny with this premise?
