These masks truly hide nothing at all... *stares at Regis' hair* His eyes seem to stand out more with the mask on too. Those are some red eyes!

A Game of Thrones
Mm, I checked out a digital version of A Game of Thrones from my library. I was on a waiting list for it! (I thought there would be more copies available than that). I only have the copy for 21 days... I don't think I'll be able to finish the book in 21 days. It's so long! (I haven't started reading yet. I'm already daunted...)

Sket Dance
...I caught up with the anime. /mopes

Tsubaki became my favorite character. :D ♥ And then he became even cuter as the series went on. (I also love that Shimono Hiro voices him). Episode 47 ended on such a cliffie, arrrrgh, so I went and read the manga. -___-;; And then I couldn't stop. Because there was so much about Tsubaki, ahhhhhhh. I've been good with Chihayafuru and Natsume Yuujinchou and haven't gone seeking the manga to find out what happens next, but I think it's because I've been watching them weekly, so I've gotten used to waiting. Sket Dance, on the other hand... since I was marathoning it... -_____-;;

This series makes me laugh and cry. I've fallen hard. XD; (And Tsubaki~ ♥) Expect more fangirling posts from me. XD I bought the fanbook over the weekend. Good thing I didn't read it until after I read some of the manga because the fanbook details a lot of the characters' pasts/family/etc. :3;; The fanbook also has huuuge lists of characters, even super minor characters (even the fictional characters like Liberty Maji), and they all have birthdays set for them...wow.

I've really liked the opening and ending songs of Sket Dance, and how they change quite often. The Sketchbooks are also awesome! I love that guy's voice~. I mostly only skimmed manga chapters that have already been animated. The anime follows the manga pretty closely, though the order of some chapters is different. I can't wait to see the next few episodes.

He entered the scene so casually. XDDDDD Well not casually. He did save M-21. But I imagine he must have sounded quite casual with that "Sorry I'm late" line. XD Regis~ ♥ About time!

Seeing Tao fight is pretty awesome. I always wondered about how he fought. Takeo at least has fought Frankenstein before. :3;;

Me too. It was kind of hard for me to imagine what it'd be like for him to take D. Physical power up? But a mental power up might be more useful for him, though looks like it's still a physical power up for him.

Fic would be hilarious! XDDD Art too. I wonder if we'll get a flashback next time about it. XD

Tsubaki is just way too adorkable for words. It's probably the fact that he's just ridiculously SERIOUS all the time in a series that regularly tears apart the fourth wall, and the other characters have no problems taking the piss out of him. ...Yeah, he's my favorite character too. Also, my favorite chapters tend to be whenever he and Bossun are forced to cooperate/deal with each other.

He is just so cute. (Haha, even Himeko claimed he's cute). I love his seriousness and his gullibility. His seriousness really stands out in this series. I so look forward to more chapters with him, and especially chapters where he and Bossun have to work together. (I laughed my head off when they had to write a banner together).

I remember you posting a cover where Bossun and Switch dressed up as girls, except I didn't know who the third person was at the time. Now I know, LOL. I am super amused.

*cough cough* I do believe that there are copies of Game of Thrones available for download on the Internets. Not that you should use them, if you have a library copy.

Game of Thrones is pretty awesome, btw. Takes a while to get into it, but once you're in you're in.

I was tempted... *coughs* But I thought I'd try out my library's digital selection. I've never checked out anything digital before. Kind of cool, how it works, though I was pretty afraid I'd take a wrong step and end up having to get wait-listed again. (Why only two copies???) I managed to check out a kindle version, which is pretty sleek!

I've only read a bit of the prologue so far. I think I'll need to reread what I've read. XD; Have you read the entire series?

The library has to pay a fee to the publisher for each digital copy it buys from them. And depending on their deal, those digital copies might "expire." I can see where the publishers come from, but it does seem awfully artificial, huh?

The prologue kind of sucks--re-read it later, if you need to. It gets better once you get into the main story. Be warned, it takes FOREVER for plot points to advance. The details are what makes it great though.

Yep, I've read the whole series. I found it really hard to read on the computer though. I needed the real books.

I see! That would suck if the library's digital copies do expire. I was kind of hoping to be able to browse books this way without having to go to the library, and to be able to access books more conveniently, but most books have a waiting list. Seems like the library has more physical copies than digital copies. When I was checking out, I got all nervous because the library system stated that I would only have 30 minutes to check out the book before it expired and the book would be sent to the next person on the waitlist...

Hm, I'll probably do that. The prologue was losing me, haha. I've heard that this series is super detailed. Can't wait to find out just how detailed! Multiple POVs and characters sound fascinating.

I like reading on my computer, but being able to carry what I read is more convenient, so I borrowed the kindle version to put on my tablet. This is a lot longer than what I've been reading on my tablet though, so I hope I can still get into it!

Why don't you have the audio book or the pdf for game of thorn. (I have read that, I might go look into the pdf for my play book if I can find any.

I feel like the chapter was mostly supposed to be serious, but when Tao's clothes got damaged, I giggled. XD;; I totally grinned when Regis showed up! With his mask no less! I was guessing that Frankenstein was the person on the other end of the call to Takeo. Didn't think it'd be Regis. I'm hoping Frankenstein will show up too, but Rai should rest...

I don't have an audio or pdf version of Game of Thrones. An audio book version would probably lose me. XD; I usually can only listen to audio versions after I've already read the book at least once. Have you read further books in the series?

I started to like Sket Dance after I learned the fact that Tsubaki and Bossun are actually twins. I dunno why but this one touches me the most and after that, whenever they meet and talk, it becomes meaningful to me (and the joke in Gintama where they used Sket Dance as reference became more meaningful to me. xDD )

I was enjoying Sket Dance already, but the revelation made me even more interested! Seeing the clues come together was very awesome, and the back story itself was touching. ;_____; It puts their rivalry into a different light for me. :D ♥ Like Himeko, I just grin whenever they meet now.

That Gintama joke. XD;;; Was there more than one? I haven't watched much of Gintama, but I was looking up Sket Dance videos and saw a clip where Gintoki was stuck between two onmyouji who were fighting with each other. Then I finally understood what people were saying about how Gintama had already spoiled the revelation!

It was also interesting to know how the previous chapters gave some hints about their relationship yet those scenes are usually ignored since Sket Dance is filled of random stuff. And yea, I also grin whenever they meet. :))

Hmm.. I only remember that onmyouji episode unless you count the crossover between Gintama and Sket Dance. :P When I first watched the onmyouji episode, I ignored that reference because I do not know Sket Dance before. I only start watching Sket Dance after the crossover. And when I realized the reference done by Gintama, I watched that scene again and finally realized that they actually revealed a very important fact. :)) It really became a spoiler knowing that Sket Dance was not yet animated during that time. :))

I was amused by the comparisons between Bossun and Tsubaki, with that lady commenting about how they're like brothers on the same wavelength, and how Agata kept saying they resembled each other... I suspected Bossun was adopted from his looks since he didn't resemble his mother or sister much while his sister looks a lot like Akane. I didn't suspect Bossun had a twin, but once mentioned, I was squealing because I knew it had to be Tsubaki from the hints given! Their names also blew me over. Another hint! I didn't catch that hint at all. I just thought Yuusuke was such a common protagonist name (since the same pronunciation was used for Yu Yu Hakusho's protagonist), and Sasuke's totally known because of ninjas and the Sasuke from Naruto. I wondered why these names were chosen when they're already well known elsewhere.

Haha, oh Gintama. XD;; I'm curious if that episode was also in the Gintama manga? Would make sense for the manga to reference the Sket Dance manga. XD;;

I also thought that the names are just common. It does not occur to me the possibility that they are actually related. And I partly blame Uchiha Sasuke for that. XDD

What episode? Anyway, both onmyouji and the crossover are in the manga. :D I am not sure on the Sket Dance part since I haven't seen it (though I have read somewhere that it is a special chapter in the Sket Dance manga.)

Ah, I was wondering about the onmyouji episode, if it was in the manga. XD; Because it would make sense to me that the Gintama chapter would make references to the Sket Dance manga, which would've already revealed that Bossun and Tsubaki are brothers by then. The anime... really jumped the gun, since there wasn't even an anime version back then! XD

The Sket Dance x Gintama crossover episode was a special chapter in the Sket Dance manga, yup. Only the first half of the episode though. The second half was anime original.

It was in chapter 282 (page 11-12) when they use some Sket Dance reference. Mangareader did not cooperate with me so I'll post the (main) line here.

Gin: Please let's just all get along!! After being apart so long, do you guys really want to break up the Sket Dan's hard work of bringing you together?!? Our hearts should be as one.

Maybe the staff believes that many people will forget that scene and will not notice that revelation since Sket Dance was only known to those who read the manga. But still, giving such spoiler is really funny. I wonder how Sket Dance's mangaka reacted when that spoiler was shown. :))

Hmm... I actually love the second half though. :))

Haha. I went and read the chapters that have to do with the weather lady and the rest of the onmyouji. XD; I haven't read any Gintama before this!

I really wonder how the Sket Dance mangaka reacted to this, both because it's quite a big spoiler, and also because of what exactly the names were given to, haha. XD;;;

I read Gintama to know beforehand the story arcs. I used to believe that reading this will decrease my enjoyment of watching anime but it turns out to be the opposite. :))

They did not even censored or altered the name. :)) Or maybe, the Gintama staff have already asked permission. Or maybe, when the Sket Dance mangaka saw that part in the manga, he might even suggested to give the spoilers in the anime too. :))
