My first batch of stuff for [livejournal.com profile] help_japan. I have four threads going on now. I'm still trying to think if there's anything else I can offer that I know I can deliver. I'm glad I have two threads as "buy it now". Means I can finish the stuff right now in March, and then after the other thread ends at the end of March, I can tackle that in April.

Offer 1: 1 LJ moodtheme - bidding for this is still going on
Offer 2: Translations - I'll be closing this one after the last person replies
Offer 3: Chibi pixel art (because I cannot draw, I present everyone pixels instead. Still have 7 slots left~)

Request 1: Fishbone related items - Of course, right? ^^;; I figured I'd throw this out there...

Finished pixel chibi art for the generous [livejournal.com profile] arachne13. ♥ Apologies if these didn't turn out that great. ^^;; Fai was especially hard. D: (He kind of reminds me of some other character with how he turned out, but I can't think of who...)

Tsubasa!

I last left off with Tsubasa after the Piffle arc with the end of the flying race, which, after catching up to the current chapters, was pretty much the last normal (relatively cheerful and non mind-breaking) arc before all the revelations. Man.

I started rereading Tsubasa after hearing that it's ending soon (and from thinking about how much Caius and Alcibiades from Shadow Magic reminded me of Fai and Kurogane). During my reread, I noticed that 1) They drink A LOT, 2) They seriously drink a lot. I should have kept track of all the times they were drinking or bringing sake into the conversation. I did notice it less after all the twists took over the story though. I was also more attached the some of the characters this time around.

Started reading xxxHolic after catching up with Tsubasa. I've grown to like Tsubasa's thick lines. The art in xxxHolic feels a lot simpler.

From the very first chapter, I couldn't help thinking what would happen if Watanuki met Natsume from Natsume Yuujinchou. Anyone know of any crossovers? XD;

game blog/review: Tsubasa Chronicles vol.2 DS game

There's barely any information for this game at all on the internet...not that I could find at least. It was kind of boring in the beginning...and it is a really simple game...but it got more interesting as the game progressed. I didn't buy volume 1 since that wasn't on sale then. I understood the game fine without the first one though...probably because the game follows the series spot on mostly.






I guess this is a good game for fans. And it worked for me since I've never watched the anime before (only read some of the manga) but I got to see some anime cutscenes from the game. I wish there were a faq for this. At least for the recipes.
