Double Arts ;__;, Fire Emblem DS

Double Arts ended. So unbelievably abrupt. It was the series I most looked forward to every week. The fighting style was unique (they can't ever let go of each other's hands, so they have to learn how to fight holding hands), and both main characters were likable. The supporting characters were fun too. I was even thinking of cosplaying as Elle (her new fighting outfit) but since the series ended so quickly, there's not even that much reference.

The ending just makes me want more. ):

Setting manga aside, I'm working towards getting all the secret reports for The World Ends with You. I'm not even 1/3 of the way through with that though. I'm taking a break from TWEWY now that I have Fire Emblem DS. I'm finally getting to know Marth as a character!!! Poor guy just keeps getting told to save himself while everyone else is sacrificing themselves since he's the hero who'll save them all. He looks pretty manly in the official drawing but the in game screens don't make him look that way. The sprites look better than I expected too. The bgm is awesome. Smash Brothers Melee really does have a great remix of the two main tracks. I'm kind of just blundering through the game at the moment. I don't know if there are supports in this game, or if there's the pushing or carrying units command. Those feel like such luxuries now that I don't have them! There is the option of changing a character's class type...I wonder how that works. I haven't tried yet.

I'm hoping that I'll meet more cool characters. :3 Units all have such weak magic defense (like none at all!), so Marik is easily blasting his way through everything with Fire.

Man, I saw that official art for Marth a while ago and was completely thrown off by his manliness. XD But I've always loved Marth, so the game sounds interesting. The changing character types reminds me of FFTA, though. :3

The in game artwork is entirely different from those drawings. I'm kind of glad. XD I like how they look in the game. I didn't think Marich (the mage guy) looked all that great in the official artwork, but he looks pretty cool in the game.

I haven't tried the class changes yet. It's such a weird thought that I can change classes for Fire Emblem. That was never possible before! I'm not sure I want to change anyone's class though. I'm kind of attached to them. But then, I do have like...eight horsemen. Don't need so many. XD;

You followed Double Arts? :3 I thought that cosplaying Elle would be fun if someone did Kiri with me, but then we'd have to hold hands the entire time. Would be unique though. I wasn't expecting Double Arts to end so soon at all. Gazelle hasn't even shown up all that much yet. ):

I'm thinking about switching the classes a bit to see how it works, but I'm really attached to the classes they are now. I went looking at some FAQs and found out that Elysian whips are only purchasable at the online store on certain dates! 0___0;; I'm unused to FE having online capabilities. Darn, that means if I want Sheeda to change classes, I need to wait until those whips show up online.

His outfit doesn't look too hard, but his hair! His hair is like Cloud's. Or Sora's. I think Elle and Kiri make for great poses with the dancing. :3

I'll be sad when ES21 ends, which feels like it'll be soon. But for ES21, I'm expecting it to end soon. I never expected that Double Arts would end so soon. I was settling in for a good, long series. ): I haven't read Neuro (just looked it up now). It sounds interesting~

I never let anyone die, so I won't be seeing any of the side chapters. I guess I'll have to purposely get some people killed whenever I replay this to recruit those other characters. I was hoping for more mages, but it looks like there aren't that many in this game.

I'd be surprised if Eyeshield continued very far after this match. I really like how far they've taken the series, though I don't find the real Eyeshield 21 all that impressive.

Y-you tempt me! I was only slightly considering Elle before this.

I haven't been able to find any pictures of Etzel. What does he look like in the DS game? I've only found his pixelated portrait for the old game.

Nor should they. The whole manga has been leading up to this one defining match, anything past this isn't nessecary (and clogging room for the other good manga that still might be cut).

Well we should do it! It will be super awesome :D But let's show SJ just what a wonderful series they squandered >:3

... eh? I thought Etzel was only a character in the new game. I swear I saw a picture of him before though.. kind of similar to Canas but red hair of a different style and not good stats or growths.

I know, we need to show everyone what a great series this is! I'm seriously considering cosplaying Elle now. Her second outfit looks comfortable. There really isn't much reference though. There are only a few color pages...but I think it's safe to say that Elle's 2nd outfit is light blue too. I guess I'll add Elle to my cosplay list after all. =P But it's still only September and both Fanime and AX are still far away...I hope I don't get too many cosplay ideas. XD

Whoops, it's more like I didn't even find pixelated art of him. So he's only in the new game. No wonder. 0__0;; I've been reading pages and pages of info about the old Fire Emblem games (and getting all jumbled up about everything) when I should have been focused on reading for class. X3;; I want to cosplay FE again too, but I'm not sure who yet. If I knew how to make armor, I'd consider Sheeda.

I have no set plans yet. XD; Well, except for definitely showing up at the Fire Emblem gathering, which I hope will have more than four people this time. I might just cosplay Soren again for that. I have a feeling I won't get much done in time for Fanime. =x

Did you do Cross before? The year that I cosplayed Miranda, no one even scheduled a D.Gray-man gathering. X3;; Fanime will be good for Double Arts if we're doing it. I'm definitely going to Fanime. I'm still debating about AX. Those are the only two cons I go to. Elle will survive the heat much better than Soren. XD

I haven't played 5! I did play all the GBA ones. I was reading about 4 and all the stuff about children. It sounds like a really hard game but so very interesting. Haha, Serra. =P Seems like a lot of people like her. Her outfit is the prettiest out of all the healers.

Fanime gatherings are easy. They're just right outside the convention center and attract a lot of attention. I liked popping out once in a while to check out what gathering was going on at the time. And since the place is smaller, it's so much easier to find people! I was dying of the heat as Soren...even though I already chose the outfit with less layers. His other outfit looks even hotter with the cape. X3;;

Haha, well, let's hope I pair up the right people then. XD

Ah, 6. My mages ended up being my healers mostly. X3;;

Marth... Roy... Ike... are... so... hot xD... Too bad brawls didn't have Ike... but Roy is just as hot... and manly... and hot... but it does have Marth... Do you have smash brothers brawls on the wii? We should definitely connect to each other so we can play online together =). Though I don't use marth or roy... since they are not my types of chars...

I mainly use peach and zelda but I'm best with Peach... actually that's the only char I use when I play online since the other people are REALLY REALLY GOOD!!! But yesssss~~~ we shoulddddddd I've been busy with school and Im currently playing Zelda Windwaker right now so I haven't had time to play Brawls in a while~~~

Ugh I really hate how LJ keeps keeping off my setences when I make that face... but to continue... I got into windwaker after finishing playing Twilight princess which was ubber mad fun~~~ really up to the level of Orcina of Time!! (Which I will be playing after finishing windwaker). I really like windwaker but all the sailing and the cartoony images doesn't really suit me... though it is more of a comic relief than the other two zeldas. I just prefer my link... not cartoony... and grown up... = hot xD;;;

I'm not all that fond of sailing either (there's more sailing in the DS game!). One of the reasons why I stopped with Windwaker. Actually, I don't think I've finished any Zelda game yet. Must remedy that someday! Hahaha, grown up Link is much better eye-candy. XDDDD I like him when he was young too though, like in Majora's Mask.

Ooo yay! more people more fun =). I get out of class at 12 so anytime after 12 is fine with me =). (pacific time). If you have any more friends with brawls that would like to play that would be awesomeness too =).

Majora mask was so much fun and I love morphing into the races! And how each mask has its own abilities. I just didn't like the time limit of 3 days and everything (including rupees collected) resets after 3 days -.-. That was annoying... but Link looks sooo hot in his Zora form (and even hotter that he plays the guitar in that form <3333!!!!) (does this make me into half human half animal types !?!?!?!... but I DO have the word Kinky in my name...) and his ultimate mask form (which made boss battles... a cinch wearing that).

Are there any fire emblem games for the wii? I think I avoided fire emblem because I didn't like the battle tatics (its similar to final fantasy tactics... which was annoying...) but I might give it a chance (seeing as how there are so many hotties in it in brawls <3).

I loved the idea of going back in time in Majora's Mask, though it was a little sad when you did a good deed and it's like it never happened. Hahahaha, Zora form Link is beyond words. XDDD

There is! There's Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn for the Wii. It's a sequel to the Gamecube one though (which is Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance). Most FE games aren't connected, but those two are. Ike first shows up in the Gamecube one. He gets a lot buffer in the Wii one! You could play the Wii one without playing the Gamecube one, but it might be less interesting. The Wii one is more disjointed and follows the stories of three different groups of people. It picks up 3 years after the Gamecube one.

Fire Emblem does have tons of bishounen. (Like Ranulf! You can't not like the half-kitty) XDDD I like how even though there are so many characters, each one has their own back story. It's different from FFTactics in that each character already belongs to a class, and that class kind of defines who they are.

Oh gosh... I NEED TO GET THIS GAME!!! AND IKE GETS MORE BUFF THAN HE DOES!? HE'S ALREADY BUFF AND HOT!!!

Yeah the thing I don't like is the battle system. I think its like a board game battle system? and you move things on the board and tell them where to move and where to attack? I like battle systems where its direct confrontation (like the final fantasy series which have turns) or real time action (like in Zelda case) and since I'm not really thoughtful when playing game I really don't want to get too strategic (in FFT case). But ... I'll play it just for the bishounen of course lol!

Oh really. I LIVE IN CALI TOO!? Where in CALI? (What city). This would be majorly creepy and cool if we live in the same city... and go to the same school... lol XD.

Sigh I wish I was more richer. I want to go pick up a couple wii games (including Nights, Harvest Moon, and Mario Galaxy). I'm impatiently waiting for Animal Crossing and the Tales of Syphonia sequal thingy to come out... though I never finished Tales of Syphonia yet... I need to get on that...

Mm, it's essentially a war game where you direct your army. You move the units around when it's your turn (attacking, item swapping, healing, etc), and try to plan far enough ahead so that your units can survive when it's the enemy phase and they get to do all that. If you don't like the battle system...well, almost the entire game is the battle system! So it might be hard for you to like the game. X3;;

San Jose! I doubt we go to the same school. If we do, I'll really be surprised. XDD

I can't wait for the Tales of Symphonia sequel too. It's less money...and more time constraints. ): I bought KH final mix 1+2 last last week, but I still haven't had time to play it.

Yeah... I really don't like those tatics game that much. Boooooo sacrfice money to play a game (which I probably won't like because of the battle system) for some hotties... I'll think on that xD.

I love the KH series... but I only play the ones the ps2... all because Cloud and Squall are soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo <3!!!!!! It was pretty fun too (its one of the few rpgs i actually finished xD;;...)

I bet you'll love Soren's interaction with Ike. XD Fire Emblem Path of Radiance for the Gamecube was cool because it had support conversations. If you use two people on the same maps for a certain number of maps, they can have support conversations with each other. Soren and Ike's are the beeest. Or you can pair him up with someone else. XDDD

I bought the final mix of KH. It's for the PS2 too, but it has a remake of the GBA one too~ Whoot, GBA material in 3D!
