Lazy me finally got around to this. Picture heavy post!




Day 1 - Thursday

First thing I did after I got my registration - visit gem2niki's table!


This is her. Her avatar at least. XD; I made it very quickly and gave up on making the hands look nice. ^^;; I don't know if she wants her photo up, so yeah, you get to look at the plushie instead


Marth. The only cosplayer I took a photo of on the first day. Depending on the series I cosplay, I usually end up taking lots of photos of characters from the same series. X3;;


Maplestory! Her stand was so cute. The large drawing had lots of different anime characters in MS style.

Day 2 - Friday


Someone I know~. This is FF11!


I believe I caught them before they went off the the Code Geass R2 gathering. :3


Stein from Soul Eater and someone to the right...? I love it that he's turning his screw.

Nino from Fire Emblem 7. I'm glad I caught her before the gathering since I was late to the gathering and I think she left by the time I got there.

Impromptu Phoenix Wright gathering? Or maybe they were a group? A good thing for me since I was going to miss the PW gathering.

I went to the Jyukai concert at this point and left early to go to the Fire Emblem gathering. I could not find site 2, though I ran into another Ike in the hallway. I kept calling him to see if he had found the place yet, but no luck there either! In the end, we ran into a girl whose friend was at the gathering and she led us there. We were so late. ;___;


Micaiah and Sothe (Fire Emblem 10) were already leaving when I got there. ):


Lethe was on her way to leaving too.


But Princess Elincia was still there! Yay! And to the right was the Ike that got lost with me.


Haha, to the left is my brother. The Ikes are already multiplying...

I made my brother go to the Smash Brothers Brawl gathering, but there was way too many people there for any good photos. Too crowded!

Ganondorf from Zelda. XDDDD I bet the crowd outside went wild when he stepped out.

Lucky Star. I was chasing after the Animate store owner actually. XD

My brother and sister-in-law ditched me at this point for the Masquerade Ball.


I found myself a replacement Ike. Haha. XD We talked a lot about Fire Emblem. I love how cosplaying FE made me meet a lot of FE fans I could talk about the series with~


Dahlia and Phoenix from Phoenix Wright. I love her shoes.


Hyotei~. I miss cosplaying tenipuri.

Day 3 - Saturday


This was me on Saturday, cosplaying Eureka from Eureka seveN.


The Kyoyas to the right! And Kyoyama Anna! It all fits together! J/K


Phoenix Wright group. I loove their Pearls. The Maya actually recognized me from cosplay.com. She was Nino from the day before~

Day 4 - Sunday


One Piece. He had a really long nose.

And that's all of my photos. If you managed to load all those photos, damn, you have good internet speed. =P Like I expected, a lot of people took pics of me as Eureka (it's so eye-catching with the brightness!), but people who recognized me as Soren were quite enthusiastic. There was this one girl who kept wanting to hug me. X3;; I wonder if I should have tried to be in character...Soren can be quite nasty with his speech. XD; I got to talk about Fire Emblem with lots of people. It was great. ♥

Flash was used in almost all the photos, so that made my eyes show up. XD But I think flash makes my outfit look ugly. My flash really sucks.

I thought Ganondorft looked amazing too. I wonder how long he was in that outfit. If I had colored my skin like him, I bet it would have been melting off of me. XDD

I think the Digimon group was even larger than this. I didn't catch them when they were all together though. When I saw one of them on Saturday, he said that the rest of the group was all already inside the theater waiting for Masquerade. X3;;

Hehehe, I saw the Tonberris on my way out of the convention center on the last day. It must be their resting outfit since they were just squatting against the pole. The third Tonberri had his head off and was taking photos for them. XDD

Too many Ikes! XDD But I think it looks cool when you have a lot of the same character.

so the pic u called "...random kitty?" is Felicia from the fighting game Dark Stalkers, the large group of people from the game you don't remember is Team Fortress, and the girl with the giant umbrella and pink clothes and crown is Perona from One Piece!

Oh okay, so it's actually from a series! I thought she might just have been a random original cosplay. Right, Team Fortress! I entirely forgot the name. Their outfits are so normal, but people who play that still recognize them right away. Ah, and One Piece. No wonder I couldn't recognize her. I still need to start watching One Piece someday.

I had a lot of fun this year finding Fire Emblem characters and other funny and cool cosplay. :) I'm sure Soren would have been indignant about being called a girl. XD;;

It's probably because AX is huge! I felt a little overwhelmed on the first day at the size that I didn't even take that many pics. X3;;

And oh my gosh there WERE a ton of Ikes! I basically took pictures of only Fire Emblem people but I stopped taking pictures of Ikes after like...the 6th Ike that I saw because they were literally EVERYWHERE. XD

What, so we've met without even knowing!! D: Saaaad, we didn't get a chance to talk.

I was so surprised by the number of Ikes. After my brother left me (he was Ike too!) I easily found a replacement Ike to chat with. XDD Some of the Ikes haven't played Fire Emblem before...they only know Ike because of Brawl. ): Haha, 6 Ikes means you got most of them already. Or at least, there were 6 at the gathering (though I think there were some more that left before I got there.)

Did you see the Sakuraba cosplayer? :O

Haha I figured. Brawl is way more famous than Fire Emblem, so I can imagine that a lot of them don't really know Fire Emblem that well, and judging by the fact that most of them went with Ragnell is proof since Ike uses Ragnell in Brawl.

akdjhfakjhfkghf My sister told me about that. I CAN'T BELIEVE I DIDN'T SEE THAT. *sob* I totally would've taken pictures in a heartbeat. DDDD: I got a Hiruma and Monta last year, but I didn't see the Sakuraba one. *sob* I need more ES21 cosplayers to add to my albums. XDDD

Thanks to Brawl, Fire Emblem gained a lot of popularity!! Haha, only my brother had the normal sword. I didn't see any other Ikes with the normal sword. Our sword was unique, yay!

I wish I got a picture. D: He was really tall and was an awesome after-the-haircut Sakuraba. Last year I saw a school uniform Hiruma and Sena (Hiruma looked oool *___* ) but I don't remember if it was at AX or Fanime. ES21 cosplayers are rare!
