I've been playing around
disutansu's meme as Yanagi Renji. XD;; I did this meme before last year and got an interesting turnout. It's quite fun rereading. ^__^ (I'm quite bored out of my mind, so I will SPAM you back!!)
Leave a list of fictional characters in your journal that you would love to get a message from. It is your friend-list's mission, should they choose to accept it, to write you an in-character "letter" from a character on that list. Then they post their own list in their journal and the process continues!
Just a (ridiculously long) list of characters that I would LOVE to hear from. Other characters from the listed series are welcome too. :DD

Date: 2007-08-12 04:42 am (UTC)This 'machine' is really difficult to use. I hope I don't do anything wrong, or worse, break it. @_@ Uwah~ I should have asked someone from twelfth company to help me. They use these all the time during their research. But then... they must be really busy.
So... um, I'm sorry for talking so much. I shouldn't be wasting your time. A-AH! Unohana-taichou is coming, I should go. Sorry. m(__)m

Date: 2007-08-12 09:58 am (UTC)Hanatarou, thank you for the letter even though you found the computer hard to use! I'm honored that you wrote me something despite all the hassle. Your name being on the list means that I was hoping for you to write me as it'd make me very happy, so thank you for doing so! :) I was getting a little lonely here!
You didn't do anything wrong. I got your letter just fine. :D Though, if there's anything you don't understand, asking someone won't hurt. I'd be glad to help too!
Say hello to Unohana-taichou for me, though she probably doesn't know me...hm, in that case, maybe not then. ^^;; Hearing from you was wonderful. I hope I didn't take up too much of your time. =x

Date: 2007-08-12 05:00 pm (UTC)Lucathia-san,
Ah, you received my letter? Yay. ^_^ I didn't know what to expect, whether it would arrive to you safely or get lost. Then again, letters don't get lost over this 'internet,' do they?
*ducks head and blushes* I'm sorry it took so long for me to write to you. I'm... happy that I can make you happy? Uwah, I'm really not used to this. m(__)m
I would ask someone, but I don't want to bother them. I'm sure they're all busy with their own work. I should... try to figure things out for myself. *nods with determination*
I said hi to Unohana-taichou for you. She's really nice and listened to me when I was telling her about you. She said if I'm done with my duties, I can go visit you. I hope... that's okay? America is so much bigger than Japan, I hope I don't get lost. @_@;;
Thank you for your reply, Lucathia-san.

Date: 2007-08-12 10:58 pm (UTC)Letters arrive quite instantaneously over the internet, so I suppose they don't get lost as easily! :) Though, sometimes there are bouncing emails and such...
You didn't take long at all. Thanks for writing me again. I really appreciate it. ^_^
Figuring out things for yourself is wonderful! I'm sure you're not a bother though.
Thank you for passing on my regards. Really, you can visit? America is indeed pretty large...I haven't actually been to many states other than my own. If you visit, I can show you around my local area.

Date: 2007-08-13 04:58 am (UTC)The internet is such a big place (bigger than Soul Society?), so I was... worried. I'm glad it arrived safely. ._.
N-No, I should be thanking Lucathia-san for this opportunity. Really, thank you very much.
Ah... I'm always a bother, it seems. I'm weak... and all. It seems all I'm good at is falling for pranks. ^^;;
Unohana-taichou is really nice. She let me visit Japan once, but I ended up working at a convenience store with Ganju-san. I hope I'll find Lucathia-san's house when I do visit! It should be fun with Lucathia-san there.

Date: 2007-08-14 06:43 am (UTC)Er, Soul Society is probably really big too? The internet...I'm not sure how to describe the internet in terms of size.
Pranks? Have you fallen for a lot of pranks before? I haven't really been pranked on before...oh wait, there was this spider business once, but that wasn't too bad...anyway, you're not the only one who falls for pranks!
Ah, a convenience store! I've never worked at a convenience store before. Did you like working there?

Date: 2007-08-15 04:15 am (UTC)It's not that big once you're used to it. There's a lot of walls, so it might be confusing when you first step in. I know I was.
Ah, welll... I think a lot of people just like to pull pranks, and I just happen to fall for them. They do that a lot on my birthday too... maybe their idea of a present?
The convenience store was okay... except when it gets busy. ^^; Has Lucathia-san worked somewhere before?

Date: 2007-08-12 07:48 am (UTC)Heh, I'm not really into writing emails but Yanagi was pretty firm about it. So here I am, writing this. Not what I would personally like to waste my free time on, but not exactly the worse thing to be stuck with either - at least it's not laps again.
Your site layout is cool; rather like the fish-bone designs. Are you into tennis? We're definitely going to deliver Seigaku's ass back to them on a plate in the Nationals - you can come watch us if you like. I'm not sure if I'm playing doubles or singles this round though; Yukimura's being all secretive over it. Puri~ Not that it'll make a difference - that match is definitely mine.
Well, gotta go. Jaa~

Date: 2007-08-12 10:15 am (UTC)I wonder what Yanagi-san was researching to have found this place...Thanks for the email. I'm glad it's better than laps. :)
I'm quite fond of collecting fishbone-related items. My layout sort of reflects that, I suppose. Tennis? Yup, I'm into tennis. I play a one set match with my brother now and then, but lately he's been busy so we haven't been hitting much. I'd love to watch you guys at Nationals. I wouldn't miss it!
Do you like singles or doubles better? Either way, I hope you'll enjoy your match.
-Lucathia
P.S. If Yanagai-san is about, would you thank him for me? I appreciate that he pointed you towards this post.
[You're an awesome Niou!!! XDDD]
no subject
Date: 2007-08-12 10:49 am (UTC)Yeah, anything's better than laps these days. Not that you'll catch me complaining though; Sanada's a stiff, but you're pretty much screwed if you breath so much as a mutter in Yukimura's direction.
I'll let Yanagi know he can stop nagging at me to be responsible and stuff. Besides, you're a pretty cool person to like both fish bones and tennis - how about a one-on-one match one day? I could use a challenge once in a while.
Singles or doubles - as long as they ensure victory, I really can't be bothered much about which I'm playing in. Playing doubles with Yagyuu's alright though - we're pretty in sync on court and the switch is always amusing to pull off anyway. Wouldn't be surprised if I got singles this time round in the Nationals, if just as a trump card against Seigaku.
Time for practice; see ya.

Date: 2007-08-12 11:28 pm (UTC)Ah, your tennis team seems to run very differently from mine. Back when I was on the tennis team, we didn't have a captain. We had a very strict coach though, who'd lecture us for hours if we didn't stop him, but we love him anyways.
A one-on-one match? That sounds great. I haven't played against many left-handed players before. And your style is particularly tricky. I don't think this match would benefit you as much as it does for me though. I hope you won't be too disappointed.
Ah, so you don't have any particular preference for singles or doubles? Well, except for victory? You seem like a singles person, but you do so well in doubles. It's really something to be able to play both singles and doubles well.
I personally like singles better. There's much more freedom. But I've been placed in doubles most of the time and have come to depend on my partner a lot. It feels different without my partner with me while I play.
Thanks for writing me again!
-Lucathia

Date: 2007-08-13 04:44 pm (UTC)Depends; if you don't play your best, I'll probably get bored fast. I'll make up my own mind on whether I'll be disappointed or not anyway - you don't sound like the type to give up easy and I'm curious to see exactly what your 'style' is. And there's more than one way to get benefits from a match, y'know. Like say, company for one.
You've an pretty interesting way of looking at it. Freedom, huh - I guess that much is true; when you don't have to share a court, it's just you in control, owning it completely. But doubles is doubles. Heh, not an easy choice between the two.

Date: 2007-08-12 10:24 am (UTC)My apologies for taking so long to write a message to you. Nationals has been time-consuming, so much so that it's been a while since I wrote to anyone as a matter of fact.
But putting my excuses aside, I confess to pleasant surprise when Niou very casually remarked someone was waiting to hear from me, someone outside Japan no less. Which part of the US do you live in? And if you would indulge me, how did you come to know of us?
I'm afraid I must end my letter here. My training is overdue as I write and Niou is waiting with his habitual impatience. Perhaps when Nationals come to an end, we can exchange letters a bit more often. In the meantime, take care and I hope to hear from you soon.
Regards,
Yagyuu Hiroshi.
P/S: Niou wishes to inform you that not all of Rikkai write like "someone with a stick stuffed up his ass." I on the other hand, wish to explain not all of Rikkai are inclined to write letters with no sense of decorum.

Anyway, we've lingered here too long. We better go for that pre-practice game before we annoy Lucathia-san any further.

Good luck with your training! Nationals is very awe-inspiring. My team didn't nearly get that far.

Ah, s-sorry. Lucathia-san, is it? Yes, sorry. I'm just... not very good at this. M-Maybe you'd like to talk to someone else? Like Abe-kun? He's really amazing... as a catcher and a person. I'm really lucky to have him. *blush*
*diamond-mouths again* A-AH! I should be at practice! Abe-kun will be mad if I'm late. S-Sorry, Lucathia-san!

Thanks for writing me! It's great hearing from you. I was afraid you might...shy away from writing to someone you didn't know. I just wanted to tell you that you're an amazing person for always trying so hard, and you're an awesome pitcher who'll become even greater.
To think, your entire team consists of all first years! All of you will improve a lot, and you'll be able to be together for three whole years. :)
Abe-san must be really important to you. It's wonderful to have someone you can rely on, isn't it? I'm sure he relies on you too.
Thank you for writing me before practice! ♥

Then you'd be mad at me, wouldn't you? *tears bubbling up in eyes* I don't want you to h-hate me before we even met. T________T
A-Amazing? It's a lie. A-A-Awesome? It's a lie! Me? A lieeee! *bawling* K-Kanou-kun is a better pitcher than me... But... I-I really like being a pitcher. I hope... at least, Abe-kun will help me do better. I think... I rely on him much more than he does to me.
I... will wait for your reply, Lucathia-san. Thank you.

You're truly amazing, Mihashi-kun!! It's true! You're so hardworking and determined, I'm in awe. You never give up the mound even though yours is the most stressful position there is! So don't say it's a lie! Hm, though I suppose having Abe-san support you takes away some of the stress...? At least, I hope so! And maybe you do the same for him. :)
Good luck with your training and your matches. You all have so much potential. ♥

We-Well, even though I'm busy with practice, I... can't sleep at night, so I should... use that time to wr-write to you. Instead of just staring at the ceiling... E-Either way, I should find time. .____.
Tr-Tr-Truly... a-a-a-a-amazing...
*major diamond-mouth*
*runs away from the computer screen and knocks over a chair during the process*
*ends up in a corner somewhere, mumbling "It's a lie. It's a lie. It's a lie."
