     2nd in a series of 3 oneshots. And I still haven't written the third one yet. I average...one a year? ^^

Shaman King - First Meeting (Macchi) [841 words.]
     A very random fic out of almost nowhere. More like a drabble, I guess. HgHd universe.

Harry Potter - All Those Years (Sirius, Remus) [5395 words.]
      My longest oneshot ever. for remus_reads.

Hikaru no Go - Unfinished Game (Akari) [3777 words]
     This was me pretending that I actually understood igo. for blind_go round 1.

Hikaru no Go - sai/go ~ end [893 words]
     I just liked the title...for blind_go round 1.

Prince of Tennis - Christmas at Rikkai Dai [2791 words]
     This was me trying not to focus on any one POV character for too long...causing the writing to be very messy. I didn't succeed. pinchhit for yaoi_challenge.

Phoenix Wright - Enemy Territory [1720 words]
     I've just finished the game last month and really wanted more PW, so I jumped at the chance to write it! Phoenix and Edgeworth as kids...who can resist? I liked the outcome. pinchhit for yuletide.

Eyeshield 21 - Worse than the Rumors [1499 words]
     Um, this was me running out of time. Real pinch here! I took on way more than I could handle. pinchhit for yuletide.

Mekakushi no Kuni for 30_kisses. Namiki x Kaichou. My favorite fic of the year that I wrote, though since it's a pretty obscure fandom, not many people have read this. My favorite part so far is chapter 6. a lot more chapters left for me to write in this fic though....since there'll be 30 in all. 0_0;; I'm not even near halfway done!

I started this fic in 2004. It's 2007 now...and still I only have 9 parts of this fic out...? I'm not too pleased with this fic because it's pretty pointless.

14 Father-related drabbles - the only drabbles I've written last year! Amazing! Though since I wrote 14 of them all at one time, I guess that makes up for it? Includes Dan Doh, Dear Boys, D. Grayman, FMA, Gakuen Alice, Hikaru no Go, Honey and Clover, Hunter x Hunter, Magic Kaitou, Negima, Shaman King, Tenipuri, Wild Striker, and Yu Yu Hakusho.

Harry Potter x Enchanted Forest 664 words. Written for my 'Magic and Fantasy in Young Adult Literature' course. Just something with no plot whatsoever.

A lot of the fics I've written in 2006 were for challenges. I barely wrote any drabbles this year...and have been slacking off on updating my longfics. I've started...straying into oneshots...? My chapters have been getting longer though, which is good. My chapters were a bit too short before. I haven't even touched a few of some of my chaptered fics though...which is sad. This means they haven't been updated in over a year!!

Must start writing for fic_off. *looks hopefully at her neglected HnG/PoT fic* It shall be revived!!!

XD Teh little fishbones! .. I haven't used 'teh' in the long time. ... Okay, I don't normally type/talk online that much, just read. XD Yeah.

^^ I wanna do the counting of fics but I have a 'fear' that it'll be a helluva lot shorter than what I thought it was gonna be. XD

X3 I've got a fic that's 19 chapters in (And jeez over ninteen chapters, only three days have passed!) that I started in '03. I'm now averaging about one chapter every five months and that gap is getting longer. My reviewers ain't too happy. Not to mention, the last chapter is a cliffhager. Whoops. ^^;

XD Sounds like me. One-shots and short plots a helluva lot easier to do and carry out than long, chaptered epics of fics.

You should do a fic summary too. Maybe your list will be longer than you think?

I know...I have a bad sense of time management in fics too. I write chapters and chapters and it's still the same day. ^^;;

I used to only write chaptered fics...but it does feel nice being able to finish a story and be done with it!

X3 Same. I remember reading drabbles and going, 'What's the point? It's tiiiny!' Shyeah. Tiny and really really really hard! D: All I can hear is numbers... counting from one to one-hundred! ;p
I have a lot more completed fics that I thought I did. XD Pretty much the same drop-off point for completed fics as fics I did last year. Go figure.

X3 Oh, i know. I was going through Doctor Who crossovers the other night. =/ Surprisingly not a lot out there. But the search engine can't find DW. ^^; First time I saw DW, I thought, 'DW? What starts with DW? Disk World! ... Someone crossed that over? *checks anyway* Yeah, notDisk World'.
There was one Doctor who, in one fic, kept on calling Jack O'Neill 'an ape'. =/ Didn't have a clue which Doctor this was either so that didn't help. And then there was another one... Yeah. Crossovers are good but there are always bad ones. Just like every other thing in fanfiction. ;)

Hehe, last year was a good year for you in terms of fic writing then? I started writing fic in 1999 (at least, that's when I discovered fanfic and wrote some of my own...), but I've never really actually written a lot until 2004. So the gap between...no idea what I was doing then. Probably reading a lot of Harry Potter fic and just lurking about. ^^;;

But yes...1999. Those were the days when people mostly posted stories in mailing lists. ^__^

My favorite out of drabbles, one shots, and long fics are still long fics. At least, I like reading long fics better. I didn't used to read much one shots either! And then came drabbles...writing them is actually pretty hard.

:3 Yep. I think I found ff.net early-ish in '03 but didn't join. I was more into reading fics and well, I didn't think they were bad at the point. ;p
I realised why there were so few fics before '06. Like I'd said before, ninteen chapters on one fic. So I was working solely on about two fics during that time. Not to mention, I'd deleated two fics form my account. One was just, bad. Very bland and no characterisations; just cardboard people. The other was actually a Shaman King humour ficlet but uh... D: Compared to my humour stuff from last year, it was - it just sucked. I'd have been laughing at how bad it was if I could find it again.

^^ Done. But I'd said how/why I started them mostly. Didn't read this comment before-hand; only the up to the second sentence. ^^;

I don't like reading drabbles or one-shots. They're too... well, short. Some can be poignient and stuff but usually if I see a small word count, I'll just think that it's a badfic unfortunately. Unless the summary actually has grammar and ya know, capital letters. Then I might read it.

X3 Well, there always has to be a balance. Too bad it's the badfic overpowering the goodfic.

I joined ffnet with a not so great fic that I wrote for Rurouni Kenshin around the same time that I started reading fanfic. I'm surprised I even finished writing that fic. I still have it up though...haven't deleted it. ^^;; I've only ever deleted one fic because I knew I was never ever going to finish it.

Hm...yeah...if I were to do a fic summary for 2004...it would be a very short list because all I did that year was write for that one Shaman King fic, Hoshi ga Hoshii desu. All the other one-shots and whatnot that I wrote at that time were all for that series too, now that I think about it.
