Child!Kaoru is played by Minagawa Junko. <3
*sigh* Child!Kaoru made me wibble. (though not just because he's played by Minagawa Junko =P )
So far, this second season has been focused on Yamada and Nomiya, and also Mayama and Rika. I really really love Yamada. The scenes where Leader comes to find her (with Nomiya right behind) are adorably cute. I don't quite like the second pairing (because Mayama is so stalker-ish!) but I can see how Rika needs him. (okaasan!Mayama XD;; ) And, Yamada (who would have knocked Mayama over before if she heard him talking about her bad cooking, or would have burst into tears because of Mayama's going to Spain to be with Rika), merely set her bag (bento?) on Mayama's head and just advised him on spices. (though she did cry later in front of Nomiya. <3)
In episode 6, we finally got to hear Hagu's inner monologue! It was strange. The metaphor she uses (about opening boxes) feels just like her, though what she's actually thinking about is so much deeper.
The beach. It feels like such a dream, going to the beach together. I wonder if they'll ever have the chance to all be together at the same place at the same time again.
And finally, the Morita brothers' past.

Look at the pics on the left, and then look at the pics on the right. On the left is Kaoru and Tetsuo, whose airplanes were both failures. On the right is Shinobu being praised by their father. On the bottom left is Kaoru being carried by Tetsuo, since Tsukasa (Kaoru & Shinobu's father) was busy carrying Shinobu on the pic in the right.
Kaoru~! D= He's overshadowed by his younger brother, both in talent and in attention from their father. Only Tetsuo (who was overshadowed himself) seemed to understand.
Shoot, I can identify with Kaoru (and Tetsuo, who betrayed their father), a lot more than with Shinobu. Though, Shinobu gives off a much more innocent vibe, and my heart did go out to him when he yelled "oniichan!!!" at the end.
Strange, that the story has been focused on all these other characters, all except Takemoto. (Takemoto, where have you been?? You haven't even been narrating much!)
