My game arrived! \o\ Thought I was getting it on July 30th, but it arrived much earlier than that, only one day after the game's release~

I'm so excited about it~. Have been watching a lot of trailers, from feeling somewhat indifferent about the school setting to being sold on the concept with the time skip, as probably what a bunch of other people felt too, from reactions I've seen. I'll have to see if the game lives up to expectations after playing it though! Gonna go with Blue Lions first. Dimitri intrigues me.

Got myself the Seasons of Warfare special edition. o/ Gamestop was out, so I had to order it elsewhere, or else I really wanted the freebie pins from Gamestop for preordering there. The special edition comes with a steelbook, an artbook, a soundtrack, and a calendar. The calendar seemed strange to include, but there's a pretty involved calendar system in the game, so it all makes sense!

The artbook includes concept art for the characters, with some notes in Japanese. There's also some art of the enemies and the different classes and backgrounds.

What I find coolest about the artbook is the height comparison for each house! What a good reference. :3

The steel book is so cool! Never had a steel book for my Switch games so far. The name of the game is beautifully displayed on the spine, so this could go on any shelf just like a normal case. I thought the steel book would be its own separate thing though. Guess I won't ever have the cover of Claude being upside down, hahaha.

The back of the case is ominous!

The calendar is a desktop calendar for 2020, and it includes birthdays of the characters along with important dates. Also a pretty good reference just like the artbook~

The other side of each month features some stylistic art. I don't know what each picture means yet... but I'll probably find out after playing the game?

I've yet to finish either Fates or Echoes, but I'm going to skip them for now and go straight to Three Houses. XD;;

If I actually manage to get through more than one route, I'll probably switch between playing M!Byleth and F!Byleth.
