Random snippet

Random snippet from a oneshot I'm working on. Any guesses who it's about? XD Fic is currently at 1.9k. I'm hopeful another 1k will be enough for me to get to the point.

The familiar words washed over me.

Finally.

Finally.

How long I had waited for this moment to arrive.

The world opened up before me.

I unleashed my power and let it travel across his chest, down his body, and to the very edges of his limbs. He was not made like a fighter, but he had seen battle before despite his soft skin. It was there in the strength of his heart and the call of his blood, in the yearning of the elements to be bent by his will. I could make him great.

Silver scales spread to caress his smooth chin and the rest of his lower face. At last, I threaded my power through his hair, and the transformation was complete. He would be pleased with the stealth his new appearance would provide, I was certain.

He looked in the mirror and screamed.

Or not.

Ooooh, is this gonna be a oneshot about the Dragon’s Saint Brigandine?
Also i dont comment much but i want to tell you that i really enjoy reading your fics and whenever i see a new one or an update it brightens up my whole day!

Aw, thanks for telling me. Your comment really brightened my day too. It's been a bit since my last fic/update, so it makes me even gladder to see people still sticking around. :) And I'm glad to be writing!

Makes me wonder if the Dragon's Saint Brigandine used to be a vampire that just really ticked off a really powerful mage at some point.

Haha, blood ability! If Dragon's Saint Brigandine forms the daggers and weapons out of blood, then he really would need to suck a lot of blood, huh? Just how is DSG magicking the weapons out of thin air... Also, it seems like Grisia can keep the weapon afterward? He asked for a dagger and poison when he was fighting Charlotte, and then I don't think he was transformed while he fought her with those. I thought the weapons would disappear after he deactivates DSG.

Would be interesting if DSG were a vampire in the past! Very possible. XD

Whoops. My another "1k" estimate was quite off. The fic is 4k now and still nowhere near the end.

No, nope. Totally have no idea who's narrating before I read the comment.

After reading, all I think was:

"Even a shirt get the honour to narrate in Luca's fic. It was awesome!"

It was too long since he(?) make his appearance, I totally thought the shirt and the narrator as separate entity when I read the snippet.

Hehe, I was browsing my list of plunnies, and there Dragon's Saint Brigandine was, waiting to be written about. I've always wanted to write about the shirt, but I was so sure it would be something short and full of crack. It definitely didn't turn out that way...

Just the ending left to write~~
