lucathiaOh, it's been so long since I posted that I didn't even realize Picasa Web Albums is no longer around. Guess it's back to Photobucket for me... or some other image host as an alternative. Hope these pics work. Maybe I should take another look at LJ's albums. Maybe they've been improved since I last used them. Here's hoping~.
But anyway. I'm posting because I made it to Rank 11 in the LSK game~~. :D That's in the upper 98% range for accomplishments. I'm tied with tenth. If I keep this up, maybe I can even make it into the top ten? XD;; Top box is overall ranking, while the bottom box is the ranking among my buddies. There's a lot of overlap between the two lists, since I think all the regular players are buddies with each other.
Here's my current team -- Aldrizzt, Laica, Ceo, Aivis, and Georgo. I've mostly been using Aivis as my captain because his captain skill is preventing damage, but I've just switched to Aldrizzt today because I gave him a new captain skill that should help with the frequency of burst attacks. The captain is also the one who shows up for other players to use as their 6th hero. Aldrizzt is definitely my strongest hero at the moment, so for partnering up (and showing off), he's definitely the best~. I've finally broken 80,000 in team power (which gained me some accomplishment points). Next goal is 90,000!
One of the modes is challenging other players' teams one-by-one until you beat all 15 of them. It's one of the ways to earn better equipment for the legendary heroes. I'm currently working on getting Aldrizzt and Georgo their weapons and armor. I managed to collect all the shards for Georgo's Divine Earth Shield, but I'm short on money to craft it! (Soon, soon) I need around 6 more shards for Aldrizzt's staff. Can't wait~. Anyway, in one of my runs through this challenge, the final boss was... myself. 0____0;;
You can randomize the match up by paying 10 medals, so I re-randomized it three times, and still got myself each time!! I think it was probably a bug. D: The randomizing always gave me a new team before. It was only this match up against myself that wouldn't go away. So, I bit the bullet and challenged myself. At the time, the team I had set up was Grisia, Aldrizzt, Aivis, Laica, and Ceo, while the team I was using to challenge everyone was almost the same as that one, except Laica was switched for the Pope so that I could stay alive better. (If your hero dies during any of the 15 matches, you can't use him any more until the next round of 15, so staying alive is important!)
I have to say, in the end, the Pope won over Laica. =P He kept everyone alive. o/ Now, if I had to do this match again with Georgo in the mix as the opponent with his Shield of Earth, I'd probably lose.
Aldrizzt! Aldrizzt is my first legendary hero~~. The heroes can evolve from blue (normal hero), to purple (main hero), to gold (legendary hero). I've always liked magic users, and Aldrizzt can sure do a lot of damage, so I decided to train him up as my first legendary hero. I had to feed him a lot of blueberry shaved ice to level up his skill. Legendary heroes are fairly weak when we first get them when their skill is only level 1. They'll even lose to main heroes during that time period. But now, with Aldrizzt at skill 10, he's quite the beast. XD I've only come across two ways to acquire blueberry shaved ice, so I can only get 2 a day. Each character needs 6 of them for a 100% chance of leveling up their skill, so it sure took a lot of days to max out Aldrizzt's skill level.
I wondered why legendary heroes were so weak, until I came across their ability page. Legendary heroes have abilities that can be unlocked. The skill they come with isn't the one we have to stick with either. Aldrizzt's main skill was damaging the opponent's entire team three times at once, which was pretty good already. But I unlocked his other skill, calling forth a meteor for major damage, and it's even better, I feel. The first skill allowed for more defense, while this meteor one is definitely his high damage one. His third skill allows him to be free from damage for three turns, which might be pretty good too. But I think I'll stick with this one. I don't have that much money or gems to spend just on the same character. XD;;; Time to train other characters too.
My second legendary hero is Georgo~. I've gotten his skill to level 7. Three more levels to max that out. I went with Georgo because one of the players has an amazing Georgo on their team who pretty much negated all damage. I love pairing up with that player. So, I had to have my own Georgo. XD; Mine isn't quite that amazing yet, but he's getting there.
Georgo's default skill is healing 2 teammates. Another of his skills is damaging the opponent's front row attackers and lowering their healing rate. But of course what I wanted to unlock was his Shield of Earth skill that casts a shield on everyone to absorb damage. Georgo isn't Georgo without his Shield of Earth! I still need to unlock more of the secondary aspects of his Shield of Earth.
I find it HILARIOUS that one of the accomplishments you can achieve is defeating Lesus Judgment. For the longest time, I couldn't complete that task until I finally came across a player who used Lesus on their team. (Lesus is very rare in this game) So, I kept challenging that player until I managed to complete this task. XD;
After I completed "Defeat Lesus Judgment 1 time" I unlocked the next task "Defeat Lesus Judgment 5 times". Then, it went to 20 times. Then 50 times. I couldn't believe there really was a "Defeat Lesus Judgment 100 times" task as well. But I managed to do it! Thank you Lesus, for letting me beat you 176 times. It's all thanks to you that I'm now ranked 11. I don't think there are any more "Defeat Lesus Judgment" tasks after the 100 times one. XD;;
I'm still deciding on who I'll work on next after maxing Georgo out. Maybe Laica for physical damage (he's great against single enemies, especially bosses) or Ecilan for more of a tank in the front row. It seems that most people use Neo in their front row as their tank, and he is sure good at it. But Ecilan is cuter. I've been using Ceo in the front because he can revive himself once per battle, but he really isn't made for the front row. Poor Ceo, having to die over and over again...
It's really too bad that Aivis and Demos can't become legendary heroes. ): It really confuses me how Valica can become a legendary hero, but Elaro can't even become a main hero!! Do I just not have the right version of him? I hope that's the case. It wouldn't make sense otherwise. Unless it's because there just aren't enough archers around. Even with Valica in the mix with Elmairy, that makes only two archers. The third one is Sybil. Not sure there are others.
