lucathiaNext in the saga of "Lucathia spends money"...
Unbeatable! Neo and Aldrizzt's side story. It was only ever sold at conventions, so this is out of print. It comes in a cool box (pictured on the left) and contains the Unbeatable novel (pictured on the right) as well as a short comic (blaze). There's also a card of the Pope. Whoot, colored pic of the Pope!
Here's the box.
It opens like so. The inside black flap/cover part says, "Neo, you are really very strong… But ‘we’ are unbeatable!"
Here's the cover of the novel, pictured with volume 1 of LSK for a size comparison. The Unbeatable novel is very large, haha. The cover features Neo carrying Aldrizzt off.
Inside the cover is a poster of the picture used on the box! (Yes, the Pope and Chasel are on the back of the box~~). This is a lovely image. We get full views of both the Pope and Chasel! That's a long scroll that Chasel is holding.
Here's the comic, drawn by Ya Sha. It's mostly from Aldrizzt's point of view. He thinks about his life from before. Another dark elf is telling him to do something he doesn't want to do. Neo finds Aldrizzt in a tree, and Aldrizzt answers that up in the tree, he doesn't have to hide his appearance. It's cold, so Neo gives Aldrizzt a warm pack, which makes him smile. Neo advises Aldrizzt to cut his hair because Neo keeps mistaking him for a female. So, Neo helps Aldrizzt cut his hair and tells him to forget about before. It seems that Aldrizzt has been having nightmares and has never been able to sleep well. Aldrizzt is surprised Neo knows how to cut hair (he thought it would turn out all jagged), and Neo answers that he has had to take care of brats for years. (Does Neo cut Grisia's hair then... XDDD) After the haircut, Neo realizes it doesn't really help, Aldrizzt is still too pretty, and Aldrizzt thinks about how Neo is like his personal Sun Knight, shining brightly in his life, ever since he met him that day. Oh, and Neo banters about Aldrizzt having to take responsibility for seeing his naked body.
It's a super cute and very shippy story. XD;;;
Here's the 2nd to last page which features the image of their poignant first meeting, hahaha.
And then, not Unbeatable related (but also featuring Neo), is this poster of Lesus and Neo, kyaaaa. Very strange combination, but hey, no complaints here. Though I guess it's the same combination as the cover for V5 of LSK!
What a lovely AU this would make.
...Lesus, are you unbuttoning your shirt here?
With Neo's pose, gun in his left hand, I wonder if he has lost his right arm, just like canon...

Date: 2015-04-23 04:09 am (UTC)...I was sick all last week. D: Fever for four days, coughing for a week. The cough is mostly gone now after I took several days of antibiotics. Had to take the whole week off work. ^^;; Why the superstition?

*totally misunderstood Unbeatable's cover* I thought it was of Neo using Aldrizzt as a pillow... And then I thought that was completely normal...
Judgment looks so young on the poster! But at least we now know that he looks good in colors other than black. XD

There's a limited edition that was only sold at conventions and features artwork by Ya Sha. That edition can only be bought 2nd hand from sites like http://www.ruten.com.tw/. Most sellers on ruten only accept Taiwanese bank transfer or paying from Taiwan's convenience stores. They usually only ship within Taiwan, but you can ask individual sellers if they don't mind shipping overseas. The largest factor is usually how to pay them.
