Nyanko-sensei went on a trip around Japan with two of his loyal servants. Here are his travel diary entries! (In other words, Lucathia got bored while stuck at the airport during the first day and decided to fiddle around with her phone. Then she thought she might as well continue for the rest of the trip. These are done on Line Camera.)

Day 1

Nyanko-sensei set out bright and early on Friday, December 19, 2014, happy that he would get to return to Japan. Two of his servants would be taking him, but once they reached the airport, they were told the following.

"Your flight to Vancouver has been delayed. You won't make your transfer."
"Wait, what does that mean?"

Surely we could catch a later flight, right?

"You can take the next flight to Japan. The flight is scheduled for tomorrow."

Tomorrow? What???? There are no other flights today?

"I suggest you take this time to look for accommodations in Vancouver. We won't be providing accommodations for you. It is best if you take this flight, because we cannot guarantee that there won't be a delay tomorrow."

aklsdfja;sdfj;;df;jkla;s

Needless to say, Nyanko-sensei was not happy with the news.

By the time we finally boarded our first flight three hours later, the 2nd plane we had to get on was already making its merry way across the Pacific Ocean. Good bye plane. DDD:

It turned out we were also tasked with being the emergency operators as we were right next to the emergency exit. It was nice and spacious with only two seats in the row while other rows had three seats on our side. Didn't have to sit next to strangers~~

Huuuungry but only salty pretzels to tide us over!

We landed. It was dark and gloomy outside. We heard some people speaking Japanese, probably passengers who were stranded just like us! Some people asked around about the transfer. We were all very confused about what was going to happen now.

We hadn't looked for accommodations. Since we still weren't sure what was going on. Good thing, because one of the flight attendants came around with hotel vouchers while we were getting our luggage!!

Why did that counter person tell us we wouldn't have accommodations provided then? DDD: I'm so glad that we procrastinated with looking for accommodations!

Especially since the accommodation provided to us was super pretty and convenient! It was in the airport itself! (Probably much more expensive than something we would have booked ourselves)

Actually, the entire airport was too pretty. We nearly couldn't believe what we were seeing. Nyanko-sensei was somewhat appeased.

The money was really pretty too. Nyanko-sensei really liked them.

Nyanko-sensei also got some free food at a fancy lounge that we normally wouldn't be able to afford. Us lowly servants only ever see lounges like that one in movies. :'D;;; Freee foood. But we were so tired and the food was so rich and oily that we didn't finish.

Day 2

We'd planned to go to Jump Festa, but that obviously wasn't going to happen anymore. Fine. What was problematic was that we had a domestic flight from Haneda scheduled at 8:10 PM, flying from Haneda to Yonago. We were supposed to have plenty of time to make that flight (an entire day after landing in Japan), but now... Our new flight arriving in Japan was going to land at 5:30 PM at Narita the day of our transfer, and then we would need to make our way to an entirely different airport to take that domestic flight at 8:10 PM! It takes anywhere from an hour to two hours to travel from Narita to Haneda.

Would we be able to make it? Or should we give up? We had three options. We exchanged for some Japanese yen at the Vancouver airport to broaden our options. The exchange rate was sad though. 104 yen. At Narita, it was 118!

Here were our options. Nyanko-sensei was amused at how Lucathia's head was about to explode from running through the options over and over and over again.

OPTION 1 IF BY CHANCE WE LAND EARLY ENOUGH
1) After landing in Narita, get luggage, pass through customs, pick up our mobile wifi we'd rented, from the post office. Forget about exchanging currency or picking up JR passes. Jump on some kind of public transport to get from Narita to Haneda. In order to make it in time for the flight, the latest bus we could get on would be the 6:18 bus, giving us around 45 minutes to get off the plane, get our luggage, pass through customs, and pick up our wifi. Our flight from Haneda to Yonago would then not go to waste, and we would get to travel around Tottori like we had planned.

Lucathia: Okay everyone, use the bathroom before the plane lands! No bathroom breaks after landing! DDD:

OPTION 2 IF OPTION 1 IS NOT FEASIBLE
2) After landing in Narita, get luggage, pass through customs, pick up our mobile wifi we'd rented, from the post office. Forget about exchanging currency. Pick up JR passes. Take the Narita express (must be before 6:45) to reach Tokyo Station to take the 8 something shinkansen heading toward Shin Osaka. We would get off at the Okayama station. Lucathia's godmother would be driving from Sakaiminato (close to Yonago) to pick us up. Around a 2 or so hour drive. We would probably reach her house at like 2 am or later. Our plane tickets from Haneda to Yonago would go to waste, and we would be looking at many more hours of traveling after landing in Japan.

OPTION 3 IF WE LAND TOO LATE
3) Give up on going to Yonago/Tottori. Find some place to stay in Tokyo after landing. Exchange for currency. Pick up JR passes. Basically take our time without rushing.

#3 was looking to be the easiest route, but at the same time, the plane tickets would've gone to waste!!!

Anyway, no sense fretting so much when we were still stuck in Canada. T__T

Our room at the airport had one large window that looked out towards the planes. It was quite a view. What a sight to wake up to!

Saying goodbye to the room!

A quick breakfast after handling our luggage and checking out of the hotel. Vancouver is so Asian! Chinese words everywhere too.

THE AIRPORT IS TOO PRETTY, I'M TELLING YOU. (But Nyanko-sensei, please don't eat the fish. We would get in trouble). No, we were not at an aquarium. This was the international side of the airport! It looked like a fancy mall!

After that, we boarded the plane. I watched three movies. It made the time pass really quickly. Watched Lucy (the ending wasn't very satisfying...), Divergent (this ending wasn't satisfying either), and The Truth About Beauty, a Chinese love-comedy with plastic surgery involved (this ending was a bit more satisfying...). Nyanko-sensei slept most of his way through, and then... we landed!

10 minutes early! at 5:20 instead of 5:30!

We were, fortunately enough, near the front of the plane, so we squeezed our way through the passengers, ran through the jet bridge, ran through the checkpoint, ran to get luggage, rushed through customs, ran to the 4th floor post office to pick up our portable wifi, ran to the basement level where the JR office was located...

I took a look at the time. We might be able to make it to Haneda! I asked the JR attendant if there was any way we could get to Haneda in time for an 8 o'clock flight. She said, not with JR. Ask the Keisei line. Would you like to pick up your JR passes right now, or would you like to attempt to head to Haneda? I picked the latter choice. Asked Keisei, in which the answer was, "You won't arrive in time taking the train." Rushed back to floor 1 and bought tickets for the limousine bus to Haneda instead, departing at 6:18.

We had five minutes left before the bus would arrive. Five minutes ahhh. Did we make it? YES.

(The bus also had a bathroom, so that solved the dilemma of no bathroom break)

Was afraid there might be traffic, but the bus arrived at Haneda at 7:40. We had to be past the gates by 7:50 to make it onto the plane. 10 minutes to spare! It meant there was no time to sight see at the Haneda airport. Too bad. We ran through it. It was very big.

We safely arrived at Yonago! Nyanko-sensei gobbled up the late-night dinner my godmother made. Ahhhhh, so so happy that we would be able to visit the Tottori Prefecture after all! And my godmother didn't have to drive 2+ hours to pick us up! (I heard it was snowing too, in Okayama or whichever station they were looking up for us in case we couldn't reach Okayama, so we probably would've been stuck in a random place)

Good night! Finally, sleep time! We had futons~~.

Day 3

Now that we were safely in the Tottori Prefecture, we no longer had to be afraid of being stranded. Totally pampered here. |D;;;

With free food and everything. Fooooood.

And free transportation. |D;;;;

Nyanko-sensei, Lucathia wants to ask a question. Do all rural Japanese residences not have locks? The bathroom has no lock! How do you know if it's occupied? Even the front door has no lock!

(Lucathia: o_____o No wonder so many anime series have people walking in on other people taking a bath! There's no lock on the door!!)

I'm sorry, but where Lucathia comes from, it is unthinkable not to have locks everywhere. I was amazed to see that bicycles were placed on the sidewalks without getting locked up. You can be sure that if you didn't lock your bicycle up over here, it would be gone right after you left. In fact, even if you did lock it up, you would probably be missing a tire or two when you returned.

There was a samurai in the living room!

Umi da! I can see the sea! The weather was so-so that day, but not too bad. Snow only came down in flakes and dissolved before hitting the ground. We were on our way to Hokuei, Conan Town, by car! We'd successfully exchanged our money and would get our JR passes later. We were all ready to go!

Nyanko-sensei wanted ramen, but unfortunately, the ramen place was closed for the day. We had Chinese food instead. It was really filling.

Hokuei town is very quiet and empty! With a bunch of Conan statues everywhere! The Conan museum was really cool! Lucathia spent a lot of money at the Conan store. :'D

Day 4

In the morning, we took Nyanko-sensei to see the Gegege no Kitaro street, which Sakaiminato is famous for. It was just around the corner from where we were staying, yet we hadn't had time to drop by. The street was filled with statues, much like Hokuei, but with Gegege no Kitaro statues instead! Even the taxis were decorated the same way, with Medama-oyaji eyeballs as the lights on top of the taxis.

Breakfast! Japanese-styled western food. The portions were huge!

Headed to Iwami after this. A two or so hour drive. Took Nyanko-sensei to see the place Free! is modeled after. Unfortunately, both g2n and lucathia were so busy taking photos of the place that neither of us took photos of Nyanko-sensei there. O____o;;

I'm sorry, Nyanko-sensei!

Dropped by the famous sand dunes of Tottori after visiting Iwami. Lucathia did not know that Tottori is famous for these sand dunes, and that there were actually camels there. Now she finally knows why Free! had camels and deserts in the ending sequence. She was so very confused by the ending sequence. NOW IT ALL MAKES SENSE.

A quick lunch (it was unfortunately not that good) and then we bid goodbye to Lucathia's godmother and Tottori!

Waiting for the Super Hakuto to head from Tottori to Kyoto! (The red train is not the Super Hakuto. Just some random train)

After being in Japan for so many days already, we were finally taking our first train! Our JR had been useless for the first part of the trip! It was still useless, since we couldn't use it to get Super Hakuto passes. But we were done with unnecessary transfers, so we didn't use the JR lines (although there was an option that would've been completely free, it would've been inconvenient to make the transfers).

Nyanko-sensei on the Super Hakuto! The luggage barely fit!

Arrived in Kyoto after 9 PM. Took the taxi from the Kyoto station to our ryokan, and then we found a random place (as long as it was open!) to eat a late dinner. So many restaurants had already closed for the day. Mmmmm, finally, food! We had still yet to eat ramen. It wasn't until after we'd eaten that we saw there was a ramen place right across the street, and it was still open too.

Next time!!!

The ryokan was quite cool! But we'd already slept on futons and stayed at a Japanese residence, so this wasn't all that unique an experience anymore. :'D

Day 5

It was time to explore Kyoto! We walked 11.12 miles this day!

Made tea in the morning!

Breakfast at a place near Tera Machi!

Saw a bunch of random temples and shrines along the way!

A very pretty place!

We got to look around this one after taking off our shoes!

Suddenly, fat pigeons!

We walked all the way to the JR station from our place (it was quite some distance, pretty much used up the entire morning). Took the train to Kohata station to visit...

The Kyoani Studio! And the shop. g2n bought a lot of Free! merchandise. An employee at the studios came out and asked us if we were looking for the shop. She then gave us a tiny little map with the location marked. They must get a lot of people peeking at their studios, wondering how to get to the shop from there!

Visited Uji after that! We were so late that we couldn't go into the building proper, but we had around half an hour to wander around the garden.

Took the bus to the JR station after that. :'D

Back at the Kyoto station, we visited the Kyoto tower. Nyanko-sensei loves it. It's a great place to spy on people. The telescopes there are so powerful, you can see the faces of the people in the cars below!

It was nice that the telescopes were free.

We finally got our first taste of ramen, at the ramen restaurant we saw the night before. Of course after eating, we saw a bunch of other ramen restaurants. For the rest of Christmas eve, we explored downtown Kyoto. There were couples EVERYWHERE. The riverbank was filled with cuddling couples.

This was quite an eye-opener too.

Day 6

Osaka day trip! Nyanko-sensei ran away! DDDDD:

Hikonyan came to substitute for Nyanko-sensei.

We took the shinkansen from Kyoto to Osaka! It was so fast that we didn't finish eating before we reached Shin Osaka!

Transferred trains and got off at the Tenma station! The shopping street was huge!

Visited the owl cafe there! The owls were super cute! After that, we hopped back on the train and went searching for Osaka's Animate. It was very very packed.

We were too late to catch the shinkansen back to Kyoto, so we decided to give up on it and go to dinner instead. Because if we're in Osaka, we definitely have to eat okonomiyaki! Headed back to Tenma to eat okonomiyaki.

Then we took the super rapid JR to Kyoto, but it was still much slower than the shinkansen.

Day 7

Last day in Kyoto! Basically a partial day! Woke up early to check out and head out shopping!

Nyanko-sensei so graciously graced us with his presence again!

We had been eying this cafe every single day because of the 3D latte art!

The green pancakes are green tea pancakes.

Went shopping. Found the Animate in Kyoto. Bought a lot of clothes, anime goods, and other stuff from downtown Kyoto. Things were very inexpensive! Gotta have some green tea ice cream while in Kyoto too!

Then it was time to board the Shinkansen from Kyoto to Tokyo. We were early for once! Boarded an earlier train than we had planned. Train bento~~~. Our luggage took up so much room, there was no space for our legs. I used my luggage as a table.

Train bentoooo. They were so good.

Arrived in Tokyo ahead of schedule, took the rapid to Nakano! Yay, Nakano!

Day 8

We totally thought Comiket started on this day (but it didn't) so instead we explored Odaiba, which we wanted to explore, in any case.

Such amazing weather! It was so pretty!

Dropped by Joypolis. Tried to look for some food before heading inside, so we went to the shopping area Decks. There was a takoyaki museum! Basically a bunch of takoyaki shops together. How do you even choose??? It's all takoyaki!!!!

We got a platter of four different kinds of takoyaki. Lucathia couldn't really tell the difference, but Nyanko-sensei was happy. =x

Perfect for Nyanko-sensei!

We headed to Joypolis after that and attempted this Gyakuten Kenji 2 live game where we had to solve a case on paper. We did so much walking around Joypolis to reread the clues. It was hard! XD Doubly so because it was all in Japanese. (Had to look up some words) Very fun though. Also got to see Edgeworth's office in person. <3333

Odaiba at night! We visited Aqua City. Too many stores to look at.

Then, it was Venus Fort time! I wanted to go there to go to the Animega Cafe where they were holding an Akatsuki no Yona themed cafe!

Right when we walked into Venus Fort... We were so surprised! Is this even Japan?

It totally gave us a Las Vegas feel!

Finally found Animega! Bought a bunch of stuff! We rested at the Akatsuki no Yona cafe and then answered the Yona quiz. The questions were scattered around the Animega store. Got a postcard for answering the quiz correctly~~.

I heard they had a radio show on this very day for Yona! I wonder how that went!

We had dinner after that! Our first real meal after breakfast. I was starving.

Day 9

Comiket! For real this time! Got there just before opening. Didn't have to wait to long to get inside. G2n and I split up between the two east halls to buy stuff. My internet on my phone sort of worked (but not always, it was spotty) so I was still able to communicate with g2n, who had the mobile wifi we rented. We successfully met up, she successfully bought her Free! stuff (it's all about Free!), and then it was time to leave.

Yes, no pictures, really. XD; Had to shop, shop, and shop! Shop till you drop!

Right outside of the Tokyo Big Sight! Cosplayers everywhere! (It's because they're all heading to get changed. The escalators to the changing room was right outside the entrance)

Here is the iconic front entrance. XD;;;

Getting on the train after Comiket was a nightmare. Everyone was taking the same train. We were totally packed like sardines. And after each stop, more people would squeeze onto the train!

A late lunch/early dinner!

Nyanko-sensei does not approve!

We went from three meals, to two meals, to one meal...?

At night, we headed to the Tokyo Sky Tree at the Asakusa station! It's 634 meters high! Here's Solamachi!

There was a lot of people at Sky Tree!

We headed up to 350m! We could see Tokyo Tower in the distance! The highest we could go to was 450m. We decided not to pay extra to do that. :'D;

Looking up at Sky Tree!

Day 10

2nd day of Comiket! G2n and Lucathia bought more doujinshi. Got there after opening hours, so they were able to walk right in.

Then, they headed to Nakano, where they were staying, and shopped. The stores closed, and they were far from done with shopping.

(Nakano has a lot of used anime goods stores)

At least they remembered to eat dinner.

Day 11

3rd day of Comiket, but they'd already gotten what they wanted out of Comiket, so they took Nyanko-sensei to Ikebukuro!

From one floor of Animate!

At Sunshine City's observatory, there was an Ace of Diamond event going on. There were displays of the series, a model of the dorms, a place where Miyuki could catch for us (lol), and a cafe!

Amazing view at this cafe. I could see the Sky Tree!

Sunshine City also had a Pokemon Center (mega)! So many people were playing pokemon in the shop, it was so crowded.

Went to Namja Town after that. Didn't eat any gyoza even though there was a street filled with them. XD; It was all about dessert!

Nyanko-sensei, please don't get into a fight!

Panda crepe! While I was eating this, a bunch of people were playing this mosquito zapping game, and it seemed that one of the mosquitoes was located right above our heads where we were seated...

There were 50 flavors of ice cream to choose from!

After our fill of dessert, we challenged the Attack on Titan game! Where we had to rebuild the wall in one minute before the titans got us! We were so close. Just two blocks left. :3;;

After Namja Town, we went to J World. It's a place that eats all your money, but there were cool displays too.

Elizabeth!!

This was a day filled with (expensive) desserts and no real food.

For dinner, we finally had real food.

Everything was closed but we didn't want to part yet, so we went to karaoke. Nyanko-sensei loves singing~~

And taiyaki!

And smiley face whatever they are!

We paid for the whole night but only stayed until our last train. Unfortunately, one of our friends didn't make it onto her train. So she had to take the taxi...

It was a very late night, and we hadn't even made it to Otome road to buy (more) stuff!

Day 12

Lunch at Mos Burger! We ate at Mos Burger so many times 5 years ago when we visited Japan. It would be wrong not to eat Mos Burger at least once. :3;; Anyway, this was a day of shopping. But that was hard when it was New Years Eve and a bunch of shops were closed. We shopped around Nakano.

Then we shopped around Ikebukuro on Otome Road, which we hadn't gotten around to the day before. :'D Shoooopping.

Fooooood.

Dropped by a manga cafe just to see what it was like (only stayed for an hour for 100 yen). Free drinks! So many manga! No time to read them all. XD;;; Too bad it stunk of smoke.

Day 13

New Years! Did we go shrine visiting? Nope. We shopped. :'D We saw a map that marked down all these different locations of Rashinban, a used anime goods store. It was one of the few stores open, so we decided, "Let's hit up as many of them as we can!" So we hopped on the train and off we went! Went as far as Hachioji and made our way back.

Lunch at Hachioji! The station was bigger than we thought! Unfortunately, Animate was closed for the day. There were Animates at the stations we visited... but they were all closed.

Then we went to Tachikawa. Said to be 4th in anime goods. At least that's what our apartment manager told us after we told him we went to Tachikawa. There was a huge Book Off Bazaar there that had a lot of anime goods. I bought so many items of Tsukito from Kamigami. :'D (Somehow, there was so many of him there... where all Tsukito goods go to be forgotten Lucathia will take you all hooome)

We dropped our stuff off and rushed to Ikebukuro one last time where I had seen the Tenipuri figures [livejournal.com profile] yoshikochan wanted. I saw Atobe and Shiraishi at Book Off, but Yukimura and Ryoma were nowhere to be found! The stores at Nakano that had the figures were closed for the day, so Ikebukuro was my last bet. Managed to get to Ikebukuro with half an hour to spare, and they had both Yukimura AND Ryoma! Whoot! They didn't have Ryoma just a day before!

We ate at Jonathan's for our last dinner in Japan!

(Why is there no entry 83? It just doesn't exist!)

Wasn't full, so.. dessert! With red beans and strawberry!

Day 14

Time to go home!

Here was the apartment! Very nicely furnished. Bedroom, small kitchen/dining area, bathroom. Refrigerator, toaster oven, microwave, stove. Pots and pans were provided, as well as cups and plates and stuff. We pretty much had bread every day for breakfast. Woke up on this last day bright and early to clean the place up.

Then we went shopping again in the hour we had left, lol. (But we just ended up playing UFO catchers. Most shops were still closed for New Years)

Our apartment manager helped carry our very heavy luggage down the stairs. He laughed so hard at us for buying so much!

We had plenty of time to spare for the Narita Express! It had plenty of room for our luggage, thankfully. There was a section near the door for the luggage.

Carrying the luggage was quite a challenge. :'D

At the airport. Goodbye Japan! Unlike the trip there, the trip back was much smoother, but we were still stuck at the Vancouver airport (for three hours extra on top of the three hours we were supposed to be there, so we spent around six hours there). Thankfully, it was our 2nd flight that was delayed (the transfer), not our first flight. So we safely made it home. :3

In the end, Nyanko-sensei was a lot less...white than when we set off. (Nyanko-sensei needs a bath!)

(Lucathia has many more pictures outside of Nyanko-sensei's travel diaries, but next is probably just pictures of the stuff she ended up buying!)

I had heard rumors of Nyanko-sensei's travel diaries, but to finally see the real thing...!! SO CUTE OMG XD I can't believe you made all that, it is like Nyanko purikura everywhere. =^.^=

Oh man, you had quite the adventure. So sad about Jump Fest! But you still had a wonderful time XD I am dying looking at your food photos, want to eat my computer screen. I was wondering what Namja town looks like now, they renovated since I went there :D I want to go back! Ikkitai =^__^=

I cannot thank you enough for getting the figures, I know how hard it is to navigate the used anime goods shops. I hope you found lots of treasures! They're too much (expensive) fun XDDD

(Did you win anything at the UFO catchers? I swear those things are money traps. XDDD)

I want to know more about Comiket! :D How was Sky Tree? Did you have to buy tickets in advance and wait a long time?

Yes, I saw the notification! :D How much do I owe you for shipping?

Hah, I thought Namja town was getting rid of the horror stuff. I guess they just made it bigger? Now I'm even more interested in going *.*

Yes, anime shops!! Even Animate (not-used) had different merch when we went at the beginning and end of the trip o.O;; Japan is kind of scary. It makes you realize how much merch we lose out on in America. ^^;; Probably a good thing. But there's also such a huge mark-up. OTL

Wow, I can't believe you won!! Oho, I want to see your towel and Mokona *.* I'm glad tenipuri still has a fandom XD well I guess that's obvious, so much merch is still being made, that makes me happy! I just started Yowamushi - haha, just started, I'm already on ep 16 - it's so slashy XD I can see why the fujoshi love it, it's great.

D'ah I just finally checked my lj email. XDDD Send shipping via paypal, thank you!! I have everything sent to my parents' house, it's very secure. Though actually, I was home when they left it, they rang the doorbell and then took off before I could get there lol.

Omg... that's what I did... and went to a lot of Shounen Jump stores... the 3rd set of special tenipuri manga came out, and I was determined to get every single pin. ^^;; It's so bad isn't it? And now that you're back in America, you'll never want to buy merch here cause you'll feel like it's a rip off. And it'll be at least a year before you see new merch at American cons. I mean, I'm still seeing merch I bought almost two years ago in Japan showing up here in America. *laugh*

Thank you for sharing!

I've always been wanting to go there! Now I know more what it's like, and still want to go even more! :) The gadgets can actually work? Cool! Was there teh belt that releases the skateboard?
I'm so curious...did you see Kaito Kid and Hattori Heiji?
Have you been to the Ghibli museum? I think you have to buy tickets at a Lawson convenience store, right? I couldn't actually go (hadn't done enough hw, plus it was such a unplanned sudden short trip), so I pretended to buy a ticket, to see what it was like.
Are there more entries of Nyanko-sensei? I want to read more! It's so exciting, you are a really good writer!

Haha that's funny! Only strange noises? Now I really have to go see!
Aww...I guess cause Hattori Heiji and Kaito Kid are not really main characters...
Oh no! That really is too bad...I would have at least tried to go to the front door and taken pictures there. (pretend I actually went). Maybe try again next time!!

Thanks for sharing your adventure! :)

OMG NYANKO-SENSEI TRAVEL DIARY. I might have to consider doing this with the Snow Bunny I got from AX. whose name is DaiSuga >____>

BOOO being stuck in Vancouver!!!

The sparkles for the border in fancy Canada! It's anise touch.

The picture with the money looks like Nyanko-sensei is too happy XD

Pfffft, I like how N-S is behind the fries.

-----

Aw man, I'm sorry to hear about missing Jump Festa :( And then the panic of options of how to catch the next flight.

I don't expect N-S to be able to open the door lololololol. A for effort though.

Congee <3

WOW that picture of fish is so gorgeous! Now that looks like a postcard right there!
For an aquarium.

Lucky you - I always end up in the middle or back end of the plane!

FOOOOOOOOOOOD /wants the food

-----

Oh ahahahaha, I just thought it saved on time if the character didn't have to knock on the door and dialogue "Can I come in?" to go into the bathroom.

It's interesting because when I was staying with ori, the neighborhood she's from, you could leave your window unlocked or whatever and no one would try to break in or steal anything. And her brother had that habit of leaving his window open when he was studying at college because he was so trusting and forgot that you can't do that most anywhere.

… There are camels in Japan? What? And sand dunes too? I thought the ending sequence was playing on the "water" theme and how Haru just wanted to find water. Dude. /mind blown

When I visit Japan again, all of the food.

The elusive ramen persists on.

-----

Wooooork it. 11.12 miles (how did you keep track of distance?)

Ahahahaha pigeons! Reminds me of when Ori and I were by the ocean and kept following sea gulls to take pictures.

Ahhhh Kyoani!

Woooooow Uji is beautiful!

N-S looks creepy in Kyoto Tower.

The ramen is so gooooood! WHat kind did you get in that first picture?

I went to Tennouji Animate - is that the only one in Osaka? It was the first Animate I had gone to. OMG OKONOMIYAKI <3 It was delicious in Osaka (I went with fic_faery and crystal)

----

GREAN TEA ICE CREAM. /game over

-----

Looks like you had good weather for Comiket! I went on Day 2 when I was there and it was misty rainy and cold - not a lot of cosplayers outdoors.

Meals become a lesser priority when traveling sometimes haha.

YES Ikebukuro <3

That's nice of Miyuki :)

I did not go to the Pokemon Center in Sunshine City (actually, I didn't know they had one). At least I got to go to the one in Umeda :)

Creeeeeeeepy Namja Town with neat eagle statues though!

J-World I MUST visit when I hit Japan again. So sad it wasn't built yet when I was there :( Must prepare the bank too, yes…

How's Taiyaki? Never had it, but I have seen it.

Otome road is also a bank destroyer.

Ahhh Mos Burger! Teriyaki burgers with a whole lot of lettuce and the melon soda <3

Thanks for sharing your adventure! I'm looking forward to pictures of your mercy haul!
PS - I just LOVE the Daichi cushion charm from J-World. It's now chilling with my DaiSuga shrine.

Haha you guys ate so much ramen!! I dunno if it's just me, but it always is a bit too salty for me...
Hmm try locking the doors and windows more? Or have screens installed? Maybe you can make a deal with your neighbor like "I help watch out when you're outside, and cover each other?"

What app did you say you use to keep track of your steps? I want to try too!

Camels. In Tottori. That is just so unexpected....I almost would take a selfie next to it, and ask friends, "Guess where I am! :)"

lol I'm the opposite! I don't drink a lot of water...(I know that's not healthy...).
Hmm I hope your situation will get better! I don't know what else I can do...
Oh, ok. I don't have Samsung...I have an apple phone. I'll look for one! From the way you described it, I was thinking that the app could count your steps, and let you take a picture to mark each resting place.

Oh it costs? Awww....or else everyone would take pics with them!! :)
