gem2niki tagged me to post ten things about myself, so let me do that veeery quickly.
1. I like to collect things. I used to collect stickers. I kind of fell out of that phase. My ongoing collection is stuff related to fishbones. Unfortunately, my lack of organizational skills means my collection is all over the place. I also collected online pixel cards for quite some time but had to stop because of a lack of time.
2. I also collect manga (and light novels). But as mentioned above, my organizational skills are fairly lacking. And I also have a bad memory. So what happens is I often end up buying the same manga volumes again. Oops. I have a lot of repeats. Maybe this is a sign that I'm buying too much because I can't even tell what I've already bought.
3. I started writing and posting fanfiction in 2001 when I started high school. I never took down my first fic, so you could still read it if you really wanted to, hahahaha. It was a 1st person fic about Seta Soujiro from Rurouni Kenshin. I don't tend to take down any fics.
4. I don't swear. (But I will keysmash.)
5. I enjoy tiny fandoms. In fact, I tend to become less interested or involved in a fandom if it's super popular. I kind of feel like, well, other people are already creating great content for it. I'll just sit by the sidelines and enjoy that...
6. So that brings me to my next point. I consider myself a lurker. (Communication, what is that.) If you want to get to know me, er, you'll have to take the first step. I'm terrible at keeping in touch as well. Please poke me. .__. I do want to stay in touch. If I can lurk, I will lurk instead of speaking up.
7. I don't ship much at all. I don't have OTPs. I tend to focus on specific characters, and I just want everything I can get related to those specific characters. If that character is often paired with someone, I'll probably take a look at who people like to pair the character with, but it doesn't really matter who they're paired up with to me. Though, most of the times, I do like seeing "rare" pairings more, because see #5. If something's too popular, well, I'd rather something else explored more.
8. I like rooting for the underdog. And by chance if the underdog comes out on top, eh, sometimes I end up thinking, wow, I think I like the other person more now (since now they're the underdog...) The characters can never win with me, seriously.
9. When I go traveling, I go to buy things, not to sight see. But I will definitely take a ton of pics. Including pics of every single thing I eat. Even though I don't really care much about food. Eating is tiring, okay?
10. And what I mean by that is that I am a super duper slow eater. I'm nearly always the last one to finish my food whenever I go out eating with someone. It's like... I'm still eating, and my friends are already done and have chatted about a ton of different topics already, and since I'm still eating, they decide to order dessert. Then, they're done with the dessert and I'm still eating my main dish. :'D I've had to reheat my food from time to time when I eat at home because I ate so slowly that my food went cold. I kid you not.

Date: 2014-09-10 09:00 pm (UTC)Long time not see...well, now that summer is almost over, I'd be able to follow my web stuff better.
I'm also a super slow eater. Expecially when I was younger people keep complaining with (parents) or tease me (friends) for my slowliness.
I also love tiny fandom but for a different reason. I found a little confusing a big fandom when I risk to lost track of all of the translation, fanart or fanfic I'm following ( or i'd like to follow). And in a tiny fandom you have many chances to get really in touch with people who share some of your interests, authors or other followers. By the way many of my favourites manga/novels have medium or often tiny fandom so maybe I've not a lot of choice anyway ^_^. I'm also quite a lurker so usually fandom followers don't notice me at all ^_^.
I'm lacking organization skills or... I mean I always know where I put things until other people don't move them...then...well...that's usually the time people complain with me that if I'd have a better organization skill finding things would be easier. ^^
Oh and I'm really lazy sometimes, explecially when I've to figure out and memorize some odd new english grammar...^^

Date: 2014-09-11 01:07 am (UTC)I remember always... not finishing my lunch back in school. I usually take the entire lunch time to eat! Or I end up having to throw my food away because I'm so far from finishing and lunch has already ended. When I go out eating with people I don't know as well, it usually means I have to pack my food in a take out box so they don't have to keep waiting for me.
Oh, oh, those are good reasons~. Big fandoms can be difficult to follow! I don't like missing out on stuff! In tiny fandoms, it is much easier to track things and get closer with fans of the series~.
Haha, my lack of organizational skills do tie in directly with being lazy. I use something and I... leave it where I last used it.

Date: 2014-09-11 02:23 am (UTC)Wah... You've been writing fanfiction for almost as long as I've been alive! I hadn't even started preschool in 2001! XD I'd have a long way to practice if I want to write that well someday...
But you should try to organize your things sometime. The only way I can convince myself to vacuum my room is by remembering stuff all over the place makes homes for spiders. That's bad! What if your light novels and manga become homes for spiders?
Thank you, gem2niki! Without helping lucathia to post things, we'd have to check on her every eight hours to see if she'd died or not. I still haven't found any handsome/beautiful corpses that are good at planning lessons yet. They seem kind of rare...

3. That is a long, long, long, long time. CONGRATS though - what an accomplishment! I can't take down my fics either. Forever on the internet.
4. Good for you! … I can't say the same for me haha (planning hour is a bit of free game for me sometimes with the other director. Bad teacher)
5. Totally neat that you get into the smaller fandoms because then I get to hear about them and see what they're all about.

7. Fascinating! So opposite of me - although when I ship my OTPs, it's because I spend so much time getting know how they are and how their relationship works that I don't have/want to spend time with them and someone else LOL. I don't get offended when people pair them with other characters though.
8. /learns more things
For me, it depends on the underdog if I will root for them (hard working is bonus points!). The stronger confident characters tend to steal my attention though >___> *coughAtoecough*
9. Ahhhhhhh wooooow. I buy things and see things and definitely like you, take a ton of pictures. And yes, of FOOD. My friends on Facebook know I'm alive because almost every other status is of food. I like to cook. When I eat out, it looks good. My mom makes the best homemade food when I go to visit. My poor friends on Facebook lololol. BUT MESOHUNGRY?!
I don't eat much either… lots of leftovers10. Omg I'm slow too! Although it's because I'm talking way more than eating. OTL Lol lucathia - you're so funny!!

I tend to like certain characters and want to see them interact with a bunch of different people. Take Yagyuu for example! He's paired with Niou the most often, but pairing him with Sanada or Yanagi or Kaidou or some other random character seems really interesting!
