No loot today. XD;
Gosh, I am dead tired. I wasn't feeling it throughout the entire weekend (and it's not like I even did much at the con?) but I came home and just crashed. Even now, my limbs feel like jelly...
Fanime 2014 is over! I was mostly just in the Artist Alley today, chilling around in my Bossun cosplay (today, I wore a different version~. I have a lot of Bossun shirts, hahaha). I love it when people call out to me~ (yay, SKET Dance fans!). Got my registration for 2015. The line was short and sweet. I finally saw the inside of the registration room for all the other attendees (my badge pick up was in the Artist Alley, so I hadn't seen the registration place up close). It was a very large place, with lots of lanes sectioned off! I'm really happy registration was so efficient this year. They totally didn't need all of the yellow tape outside. Thank goodness there was no repeat of last year's nightmarish lines. The only complaints I have this year are the Swap Meet and panel locations. Couldn't even get into Swap Meet because of the line, which was a result of the maximum capacity of the location, and since the panels were all the way at the Fairmont, I didn't go to any of them. Too far a walk. Takes too much time to cover the distance. But since today was the last day, I walked over there just to take a look at what the panel rooms looked like. It is quite a pretty hotel... but still too far.
Met up with a number of people today, like
yoshikochan,
jen_kat,
nitaspitas and her sister, and
whitelilacs before they left. XD;; Nice to catch up~. I can't believe
nitaspitas and her sister still remember my Echizen cosplay from what, 2006? LOL. It's been forever.
Fanime has been tweeting a lot this weekend with updates and pics. Nice. :D Home Made Kazoku taking a pic with the audience!
Was going to go to Closing Ceremonies after the AA closed, but it was packed, so we left. And that was it for Fanime 2014, the 20th anniversary! (I've attended for... 14 years? omg...) Now it's back to work... and finally turning my focus back on my fics. :3;; (was surrounded by too many artists this weekend, gosh... I don't draw! I feel so left out! =P) I was kind of bored this convention, probably because I had no cosplay plans or gatherings. Or panels to go to. Maybe it would have helped if I sold things in the AA too, but I'm always just selling g2n's stuff for her, hahaha. /bored out of her mind

Date: 2014-05-28 04:27 am (UTC)You're too kind, friend <3 <3 <3
I'm glad that Kise's hair is flat - I got a darker yellow blonde wig with the cosplay I ordered because the one I had for ACen was a bit too light. I just have to take an inch off the center section and it's done.
And Sanada? Sanada's cake. /pulls hat over hair
Thank goodness.

Date: 2014-05-28 06:00 am (UTC)Swap Meet sucked... like no one was inside I hardly sold anything. D:< I.e. the way staff kept people from coming in was horrible for the sellers.

Date: 2014-05-28 06:04 am (UTC)Oh gosh, so there was barely anyone inside? D: I really wanted to go in, but the line was ridiculous and barely moving, so we didn't even try. We just walked to the end of the line to find where it was, and then went, "nope" and left. I really looked forward to Swap Meet. ): The Swap Meet location really wasn't good at all this year. I hope a solution is found for next year.

Date: 2014-06-02 04:22 am (UTC)I do hope they figure something better out. But I think that's really my last swap meet at Fanime. I might do PMX and yaoicon but I just don't have anything left to offer at Fanime, and the way its run gets worse every year. Having to take a suite case instead of boxes is a horrible mess, to add to it all.
Edit: I mean the staff is fine, they're actually getting better each year. But the location / restrictions are just getting worse and it's making it too hard to sell.
