Fanime!

Fanime has started! I went on Day 0 (yesterday/Thursday) to go to Swap Meet, but the line was ridiculous! So I just ended up having a milkshake while gem2niki had dinner. We checked back after dinner, and the line was still ridiculous. I mean, it's a line to go in and buy stuff... Only ten people were let in at a time in intervals...

Day 1 was today! I would've had a better time if I didn't wake up with a sore throat and still have to go to work before heading to the convention. =/ My throat is still hurting like crazy at the moment... Anyway, I got to the convention fairly late but badge pick up was super fast (since I'm an artist alley helper, my badge was at the artist alley). \o\ Getting a badge instantaneously with no wait is an awesome feeling (I heard that the normal registration line was pretty quick too though!). Good job Fanime for improving on that~. (Last year, I waited... four hours?? There went Friday...) The convention center is newly renovated. Very pretty!

I did nothing on Day 1 except buy stuff this time, haha. (I took, like, only one picture of cosplayers). We glanced at the Swap Meet line again today, after the Artist Alley closed, and it was very much a nope. Oh, here's a pic of gem2niki's table, which I'll be at for the majority of the time. XD;



I should try sleeping more tonight. ^^;; It's been a stressful week! I haven't had any time to write at all or go online much... so no update for A Slice of Wedding Cake this week... kiyutsuna and I were trying for weekly updates... (If anyone noticed... XD;;)

Since I'm feeling under the weather, I think I'll only wear my more comfortable cosplays... Casual Bossun tomorrow! (I was Kiyoko today from Haikyuu~~)

Ah~ finally I get to read something from you!

My weeks been horrible- no computer= no inspiration to write, finals= studying (I manage to get an A in my Human Resources class as a final grade so I’m content), moving= rush to pack everything in a two day span during finals. To top it all off, I also seemed to have caught something. My throat kills and I couldn’t do anything I wanted yesterday because of it. I was going to go to work and meet up with a friend that was going to take me to a new curry restaurant. Curry~ (Japanese curry is my favorite food btw). At least today, I get to hear from you, even if it’s not a fic. It really makes me feel a lot better. I hope you feel better too!

Okay, it’s 4am here so I should be going to bed now… (Napped half the day away)

Have fun at the convention, I couldn’t go this year but a friend bought me a figurine of Rin from Free! (Haru was sold out before she even got there *cries*)

Haha, yup, nothing during the week! It was a really stressful week... Especially Monday and Wednesday.

Your week sounds really stressful too! ): My throat still hurts (and my eyes are burning...) but I'm feeling much better than yesterday. I might even attempt something else for cosplay tomorrow outside of my super casual cosplays since I feel more up to it now. XD;;

Awwww cute things were bought! Hope you feel better - sore throats are just so terrible X__X And good luck on writing updates too! I'm about 2500 words on my DaiSuga fic and there's still quite a bit left to write! Long stories, why?!

I'm feeling a little better today! Throat doesn't hurt as badly anymore. Guuuuh, no writing was accomplished yesterday or today. All I managed was rereading what I've already written. :'D (But I might just tidy up what I have and post it... Though I should probably have that come later... Gaaaah, filling in what comes in between is hard for me!) You are a pro at long stories, seriously! XD

Sadly I haven't been taking a lot of pics... But I saw lots of great cosplay! *___*

I was at the table for most of today. XD Sales went super well!

Good news to hear about the throat... not so much about the no writing thing. The last two months, I've been idly re-reading things I've done and then not really getting anything done. Hoping that this Haikyuu!! inspiration keeps driving me. Good luck good luck! And also thank you! I think it's because my Fire Emblem universe is so expansive to be honest. And the characters talk a ton.

Yup, it's Kaitou Kid! I'm super happy to finally be able to have some merchandise of him! The cape is so cool~~
