...Somehow, he had missed the point at which it had been best to jump in and clear up the misunderstanding.
Not like Neo would have listened anyway, he never did once he set his mind on some "truth" of his - at least if it was about this kind of without-Neo's-intervention-not-lethal-kind of business. Sometimes Aldrizzt was unsure wether his travelling companion just loved messing around or if he really took these things seriously. Probably both. Anyway, he would have expected for his Judgement Knight to think twice if the blond haired man started spouting such outrage... Maybe this was some kind of motherly love for his student blinding his eyes? Unexpected, but not impossible.
Either way he missed his chance and thus his only option now was to quietly follow the two and pretend he did, in fact, not exist. If people where staring at his cloaked figure before he had no words to describe the townspeople's reaction to seeing both the former Sun and Judgement Knights marching together with grim expressions while being followed by a suspicious guy who hid his face behind a cloak in bright daylight. But little did it stop at the commoners; even the holy knights of the temple jumped in shock when they saw Neo and Chasel approach with expressions as grim as if they were going to war.
"Where is the Sun Knight?" Chasel almost bellowed at the first holy knight that caught his attention before Neo had the chance to do the same. The people here still regarded him as the former Sun Knight no matter his raggedy adventurer ways after all so there was still some image to keep.
The poor young man (not much more than a squire by his age but Aldrizzt could never be so sure with humans) sqeaked and jumped, but hurriedly saluted.
"I saw Knight-Captain Sun head towards the Judge's Complex earlier today, Sir!"
Chasel nodded sternly as Neo rushed passed the confused and slightly intimidated holy knight. Then he and Aldrizzt gave chase. Better catch Neo before he got to his student. No matter how upset Chasel himself may be he would surely keep him in check... or so the dark elf hoped. Thankfully, while the Holy Temple seemed one of the few if not the only place Neo was able to successfully navigate without taking more than two wrong turns, the Judge's Complex presented more of a challenge to him and they were able to catch up with him in time. Maybe this was the time to take word and explain...
Or not. There they went. Oh well. Better not get separated or the knights here might mistake him for a fugitive.
After rushing to and fro each and every interrogation room they could find and meeting neither Grisia nor Chasel's student Lesus their steps finally came to a halt in front of what looked like... a bathroom door? But just as Aldrizzt wanted to ask why they stood in front of the door instead of entering if one of them wanted to use the toilet he heard the voices from inside. Well, more like sounds really. He listened closely, trying to make out any words or at least the vague situation behind the door, and when he stepped closer to the door to eavesdrop he noticed the other men did the same.
"Aaaah~ Don't be like that!"
That was definitely Grisia's voice, and in a whiny tone at that. What followed it was a deep-voiced chuckle.
