Happy April 1st. =P I always enjoy seeing the creative things put up on this day. Google's Pokemon Challenge is really cute! Last year, I got introduced to Brother's Conflict because they had a "Sister's Conflict" version of it, hahaha. It really made me want to get into the series (though the series itself was so-so).

I wrote a joke chapter in place of a release for Prince Revolution. XDDDDD (But as a very soft-hearted person, I tried to make it quite obvious that it's an April Fools' post, and I also included the real chapter along with it~, as my goal isn't to trick people. Our previous masterminds behind past April Fool tricks were much trickier, hahaha, and I think they've already trained everyone to be suspicious of us on April 1st, lol). The comments and reactions to the joke chapter have been hilarious, and it sounds like people had a good laugh too. Thanks for being an awesome sport, everyone. <3 (Though it sounds like some people still haven't found the real chapter yet (the link is included in the fake chapter), and some people think the fake chapter is real...)
I might post the fake chapter here in my journal later for archive purposes. =x (It is highly exaggerated though, hahahaha. If not for April Fools, this is not how I would write a story about Grisia turning into a girl, hahahaha. There would need to be more development before Adair proposes! And Grisia would have less prominent breasts lololol. I just wanted to make it fit Yu Wo's author notes). I'm actually not that fond of Grisia-turns-into-a-girl stories because I like teasing him more about looking like a girl. But I am very much in favor of Grisia having a harem. =P

Date: 2014-04-02 12:25 pm (UTC)But I really loved when in the alternate chapter he secretely stated "Grisia's mine". No doubts for him :)

Date: 2014-04-03 01:22 am (UTC)The actual prologue really does end with quite a cliffhanger. T___T; Griiiiiiiisiiiiiiaaaaa!!!!! (Though I did laugh at certain parts, like when everyone started shouting all those random things, blueberry pie, salary getting deducted, etc and also when Grisia grabbed the Divine Judgment Sword. He really would have much better luck with magic than a sword...)

Date: 2014-04-02 06:38 pm (UTC)But on a different note AAAAAAAAAH I STILL WANT THOSE FIGURINES where did you get themmmm my "navigating websites in languages I don't understand and that are not Japanese" skills are too bad to buy any LSK merchandise ;A; IstillwantthatGrisiahandmoisturizertoo

Date: 2014-04-03 02:24 am (UTC)I'm sad! The figures are quite low quality. T___T (The boxes are much cuter than the actual figures) The paint job is really poor, and poor Sun and Judgment look disfigured. Sun's face looks slightly better than Judgment, but even then, his face is slightly cricked... (While Judgment's eyes are sunken...) Reaaally poor quality. But I will buy nearly anything LSK. :'D I bought them on books.com.tw! They only ship these within Taiwan though. =x I had them sent to my uncle, who then shipped them over (a huuuuge box full of LSK stuff, haha.) The moisturizer is already out of stock, I think. Most merchandise for LSK outside of books are limited quality and only sold for a certain amount of time.

Date: 2014-04-03 06:06 am (UTC)Awwww! I see, I see. I think I heard they were low quality before somewhere, actually. (Wouldn't keep me from owning them though since I'm a merchandise victim) Taiwan-only shipping is a problem though! Well, less money spend by me :'D Already spending too much anyway ahaha (and I doubt I would really have bought the moisturizer-). Back to blowing my money on Grisia cosplay plans then \o3o/

Date: 2014-04-03 07:00 am (UTC)Oooo, you plan on cosplaying Grisia? :DDDDDD What outfit? What version?
no subject
Date: 2014-04-03 12:57 pm (UTC)Yesss I do! Already started buying stuff even though I don't know when I'll wear it yet xD My wig is kinda dark though... Anyway, I'm going for ManHua version, first outfit. With those ridiculous wings! Thought if I'm going to do it might as well choose the overly frilly version, haha |D (over the top designs like that are my love and it actually seems easier for me to make than the novel rerelease version... and I never really liked the orange on the original novel design)

Date: 2014-04-04 03:19 am (UTC)Eeeeeee~, how cool! The manhua version is definitely very flashy, hahahaha. It's so cute! And frilly! Lots of impact! I quite like the later version in the manhua too where Grisia's coat is a little shorter. It's like a tail. XD This one. I miss the frills though. XD But I feel this hairstyle is much more manageable! If I were to cosplay Grisia, I'd probably do this version.
The J.U. version of the novel designs is quite pretty! The orange is now yellow. XD; This version! It looks really complicated though...

Date: 2014-04-05 07:58 am (UTC)I had been thinking about that outfit too, but in the end the frills won xD (really I just wanted the shirt he's wearing in the first outfit, I'm in love with the sleeves!)
Yeaah, it really looks like a lot of work... maybe one day! (Or not, haha. More likely I'll go and build Lesus' armor instead... or cosplay young Lesus/Hungri, depending on which wig I get my hands on.....)

Date: 2014-04-05 08:31 am (UTC)The only long haired character I've cosplayed is Maya Fey from Ace Attorney, and thank goodness her hair is tied at the bottom. Otherwise, I'm sure I would have to keep combing it and making sure it is out of my way (I still had to fix the wig every time after I wore the cosplay though). Elsie from Kami Nomi also had long hair, but I only used a ponytail extension for that (it was still a nightmare to comb though, haha). I've been looking into wigs for Grisia, ponytail version! But I don't think the ponytails are long enough. I was thinking maybe this wig! Though I don't actually have plans to cosplay Grisia... I haven't decided what to cosplay this year yet for my conventions. ;3 It'll probably have to be something less complicated than any of Grisia's outfits.
You could pull the hair back in a ponytail! Grisia does wear his hair like that, so it would work. Wiiiiiings. I would love to see photos of this. *_____* Grisia's manhua outfits are cute. The new novel version is more... princely? XD
Oooooo, Lesus too? Omg, you're even considering Hungri? The cat ears!!

Date: 2014-04-05 10:59 am (UTC)Up until now all somewhat long haired things I cosplayed had either a mess for hair anyway or curls which somewhat stayed in shape on their on, aha :'D and of course I had to choose the only Grisia version that did wears their hair untied... Not like anyone will recognize my cosplay anyway, so I can always just pull the hair tie out for photoshoots I guess :D
I think for high-ponytail-Grisia I'd go for a shorter wig + clip-on ponytail. Long wigs pulled together at that height tend to look weird and with a shorter wig it's easier to re-adjust the ponytail and the tail doesn't pull itself down due to its weight as easily (since you can clip the clip-on onto the wig net itself to keep it in place). Also, it's easier to find a short wig and clip-ons of the right length! Kagamine Len wigs should work I guess.
I'll definitely do a photoshoot and spam my photos... somewhere! Possibly here. Definitely somewhere on tumblr. I can link you once I have them up c:
If I had the money and patience I'd probably cosplay like 30742058 LSK characters actually |D Lesus is my baby, sssh and Hungri is /adorable/ and I'd also love to wear Carol's Judgement outfit and generally my love for Judgement Knights- but blondies are my cosplay love, ahahaha ♥ especially long-haired sparkly blondies. Generally I love everyone's manhua outfits a lot because they're so flashy (even though I usually imagine them in either one of their novel versions or a hybrid). The one thing I will certainly not do although a friend is trying to convince me of it is building Roland's manhua Death Knight belly top armor :'D

Date: 2014-04-06 04:24 am (UTC)Oh gosh, a mess for hair? XD That still sounds hard to manage! One of my wigs seriously looked like a dead animal. Well, if you're the type to choose the most elaborate outfit, then of course you'd land yourself with the most difficult to manage hairstyle too. XD; Gooood luck! It'll look amazing! It is sad that it will most likely go unrecognized, though I hope you at least run into a few fans. Do you usually do photoshoots for your cosplays? :O I like to cosplay but I don't usually take very many photos of myself. XD; (I need a photographer friend, hahahahah)
A short wig plus a clip on ponytail sounds like the way to go! I'm tempted to try! I've never worked with such a wig before. :3
Ahhhhh, even Carol? *_____* That would look reaaaally amazing. Grisia has seriously made me a lover of blonds. Blue-eyed blonds especially. I've been snickering over at several introductions to the new spring season of anime if they're even remotely similar to Grisia, either because of having blond hair and blue eyes, or being the Sun god, or the Sun king... XD;;
Pffft, omg, Roland's death knight armor... That would be a sight to see!

Date: 2014-04-06 07:59 am (UTC)The kind of mess that has no specific shape really, so it doesn't matter if my hairstyle gets ruined xD Ssssh don't say it, I know it's my own fault- |D;;; Being the Sun Knight is hard work! And I guess I'll have a back up wig now since my current wig's colour annoyed me so much I dares to order another one. Good thing his hairstyle is so basic if you don't have the ponytail problem, it's easy to find affordable wigs! Just... the colour problem... most are like platinum blond for some reason. D8
Usually I at least do one at-the-con wannabe-photoshoot with some friend, but with the work I'll (have to) put into Grisia I'll definitely make someone do a proper shoot with me! I want good photos! Just need... a location... and a photographer. Yeah.
Sadly Judgement!Carol would kill me (and my wallet) even more than Grisia does xD Some parts of her robes are brocade fabric or something... then there's her headpiece... and gosh her swords. Don't even mention her swords.
A sight to see but a horror to make and uuuh no I'm not confident enough to wear such revealing male cosplay c':

Date: 2014-04-06 08:50 am (UTC)I am imagining Grisia going, "See? Being the Sun Knight is hard work! You have to make sure not a single strand of your hair is out of place! And you must walk at the speed of a tortoise so that your clothes are not disturbed by the wind." Ahhhh, platinum blond... Not the right kind of blond, nope. But I find it very pretty. :)
Haha, I hope you take lots and lots of pics. ♥ Will you be cosplaying by yourself or with others?
Carol's swords...!!! Yeah, they would be very difficult... And a lot to carry around too. Are you going to make Grisia's sword?
Comment chain got too squishy o3o
Date: 2014-04-06 03:19 pm (UTC)I'm already complaining in my mind like Grisia does about all the trouble keeping up a perfect appearance is whenever I think about it xD;;; But I'm gonna do it! For the sake of my love for dumb knights! I'll need a hairdo slave to fix my hair before each and every photograph...
Sadly I'll be by myself I guess c': None of my friends are interested in fantasy knights as I am.. xD;; One was interested and says she might read LSK one day but knowing her I doubt that'll happen... or well at least I doubt she'll cosplay it. She's the kind that wants to cosplay five million things so most gets left behind in the end... much like myself, though. If she did she would probably be Elmairy (or Tree Boy, as she calls him) since she usually goes for the protagonist but I claimed Grisia first |D maybe I can make her be my Grisia if I ever do cosplay Lesus... *coughs*
My dream is a full 12 people group but I don't even have that many cosplaying friends around here sadly <D Actually... I don't know yet. I'm so lazy about weapons... I'd love to have it for a photoshoot but carrying it around at a con is either unhandy or it'll spend most of the at the weapon checkpoint. Besides I share Grisia's fear of "oh no I must never break this"! So... maybe I'll make a sword for a later shoot but it's not my top priority.
Re: Comment chain got too squishy o3o
Date: 2014-04-06 08:38 pm (UTC)Hehe, you'll make an awesome Grisia then. :D And yes, you need to find some people to do "small" favors for you like slave over your hair.
Aww. But cosplay of Elmairy would be niiiice. Grisia and Lesus together would be amazing. 12 people even more so, but I wonder if that has even ever happened in Taiwan where there are plenty of LSK fans... I've yet to see pics of the entire group. I'd say go without a sword. Just pretend that Grisia decided he needed to leave it behind for safekeeping. :'D
Re: Comment chain got too squishy o3o
Date: 2014-04-08 05:59 am (UTC)okok I do wash/clean and put it away properlyI think the biggest group I've seen photos of was 5-6 people? I'm not sure. I need more friends so I can force them to cosplay LSK with me! xD (Is that really a legitimate reason to hoard friends-) That's what I thought too, aha! "Grisia doesn't bring his sword if he doesn't have to anyway, and it's the first volume version, so not much reason to carry it around."
