Darn, first week of October has already passed. Haven't been able to finish writing anything (and I'm so behind again with a lot of things!). Next piece of writing I finish will most likely be about Adair though. I received the 8th LSK manhua bundle today yesterday! \o\ And it is full of Adair, eeeeee, so I will definitely be writing about him. :DDDD (I also decided to group any Adair oneshots I write together over at AO3). :3
Surprisingly, after reading this, Ed has totally grown on me. He's just... really cute in this. XDDD Adair was in so much of this that I didn't know what to scan. I scanned a ton of the pages, whoops.
Each manhua bundle includes half of the contents that goes into the final published volume, so these are the chapters that will be in the latter half of volume 4 of the manhua. (bundle 7 has the first half of volume 4). It looks like the table of contents on the back is actually wrong. XDD I thought something was strange because I remember already reading about Pink and Roland! That was bundle 7. :3;; The chapter titles for this round are "The Sun Knight Platoon Vice-Captain" and "The Sun Knight and Grisia."

Here's the cover! It features Sun and the Pope, who looks like a 15 year old. I only just noticed that Sun has a wardrobe change and a hairstyle change in these latest chapters. :3;;; His new outfit and hairstyle was featured in bundle 7, but I didn't pay too much attention. XDDD It looks like he now goes around having his hair tied loosely, just like how he's illustrated on the novel covers. Perhaps the artist decided to adopt that hairstyle...? Or maybe Grisia will go through many different hairstyles. XD;; I've noticed that the wings from his outfit are gone (hahaha, did readers think it was too much? I thought they were cute. XDDD Even Neo had wings on his outfit...) though I think there are still wings in the back, just retracted. Or are those merely feathers...? There seem to be less ruffles too, and Grisia's coat thingie isn't nearly as long as before. His outfit looks a bit more mobile now. XDDD

Rule 15: Sun Knight Platoon Vice-Captain. Adaaaaiiiiiir. :DDDDD

Adair: My name is Adair. From today onwards,
Adair: I will become a member of the Sun Knight Platoon!
*step step step*
Knights: Adair, Adair! He's here!
*fidget fidget*
Adair: The one we are about to meet is actually the future Sun Knight, the one who will become the leader of the Twelve Holy Knights of the Church of the God of Light. He is also the captain who we will receive direct orders from!
Adair: Although there are still two years left before he will become the official Sun Knight, we will finally meet him today!
Adair: He is the same age as me and is currently 18.
Yessssss! Bundle 7 went right into Sun getting ready to sing the Hymn of the God of Light (or whatever it was called) and feeling super hungry because he hadn't had breakfast. I was sad that it seemed like we wouldn't have the flashback about the first time Adair met Grisia! But nope, this chapter starts off with the flashback that was the prologue of volume 2 of the novels. :DDD *jots down notes about how Grisia and Adair met at 18* Adair looks like he's in quite some anticipation here. :DDD I like the placement of this flashback. Makes a lot of sense for the flow, since this chapter is all about Adair!

Adair: This is the current Sun Knight. He is truly elegant and has such presence. I wanted to join the Sun Knight Platoon largely because I looked up to this person.
Adair: However, it is too bad that I was born too late, so I could not join his platoon...
*Neo Sun*
*moves to the side*
*touched!!*
Adair: Is this him?
Ooooh Adair, how you looked up to Neo! I wonder if he ever found out what exactly Neo is like...? I'm sure he did later on, hahahaha. *stares at Adair's outfit* Hm~, it looks like he wears more armor than Grisia. There's a sun emblem of sorts over his left armor plate, and there are flowers underneath the armor. And flowers plus feathers on his head gear. XDDD Neo somehow always looks very smug to me. It reflects his character well. XD

Adair: Hair that's glittering like gold, blue eyes that are as deep as the ocean, skin that's as white as snow, a smile that is as resplendent as the sun in the sky, and a bearing that's as graceful as a prince's...
Adair: My god! He matches the "Sun Knight of legends" way too well!
Oh Adair. Your admiration will soon be dashed. :'D Ah, hm, Grisia's hair is tied up here too (despite it being a flashback), so I guess... he's retroactively getting a new hairstyle? XDD Plus a new outfit. No wings on this one either.

Adair: Even the current Sun Knight is somewhat different from the legends.
Grisia: Ah! It must be the benevolence of the God of Light that has brought each brother before Grisia, letting us become closer brothers so that together we may bring forth a brighter future for the children of the God of Light.
Adair: This person before me is completely the same as the one in the legend!
Adair: He is...
Adair: The Sun Knight that we are going to serve!
I couldn't resist posting this part in its entirety. XDD Oh Adair, you were so awed back then, and then, and then... Grisia happened, haha.

*meow*
Grisia: ...
Grisia: ...Damn! It smells so good.
Grisia: Thankfully the tavern is built out of wood so I was able to carve a small hole to spy on my platoon members.
Ed: What should we do? Adair, we haven't been able to find a chance to strike!
Grisia: Strike? Who are they going to strike?
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! This juxtaposition is even more hilarious than what we got from the novels. Immediately after the flashback with Adair thinking about how perfect Grisia is, just like the legends, the very next page features... Grisia on the roof, spying on his platoon. XD;;; Tsk tsk Grisia, even the cat on the roof is eying you with suspicion. Adair is sitting at the head of the table, and the one speaking is Ed. Manhua!Ed looks really cute. :DDDDDD

Random sun knight: Should we report back to the captain? Captain might not know about this...
Adair: No, the captain has already given his orders. No matter what, we must accomplish this, or have you forgotten the very first thing our captain taught us?
If I tell you to jump off a cliff, you better all jump. Or else I'll push you down and a boulder as well to keep you company!
*hahahahaha*
Random sun knight: How did it feel getting pushed off a cliff and squashed by a boulder, Ed?
Ed: Hah!
Ed: I remember how the Captain always had a brilliant smile on his face, how he looked like someone with such a good temper that he wouldn't get mad even if you stepped on his head.
Ed: Then I discovered later on that the truth was, if you're not deferential enough to let him step on your head, you're dead for sure.
Sun Knights: Exactly!
Ooooooh gosh, Ed's expression in that bottom left panel! He is sure depicted differently here than my impression of him from the novels. I find this depiction pretty fun! He seems a lot more idiotic in the novels, while here, he's still idiotic, but he seems to have a bit more of an edge. Also, all of you will so regret talking about Grisia behind his back. XDD

Grisia: ...
Grisia: What a bunch of nonsense. I'm not interested in stepping on people's heads!
Grisia: Ed, huh? You better watch out. I've remembered you!
Adair: Don't say it like that. Captain is just stricter with the Sun Knight Platoon...
*frozen*
Adair: Ah...
Adair: And perhaps to people who cross him...
Sun knights: You're lying with your eyes open, aren't you?
Adair, to Grisia's defense! Or more like, everyone's defense, since they would all be dead if they kept gossiping like that. XDDD

Adair: ...Alright, he is also stricter to people who might cause him trouble in the future...
Adair: Anyway, you can't refute the fact that Captain is very loyal!
*nods*
Ed: That's true.
Grisia: Heh, good thing all of you nodded. Otherwise...hmph! You actually dared to gossip about me behind my back. You better all be careful. I've remembered you all!
Random sun knight: Why is it suddenly colder?
Random sun knight: Let's close the window.
Ed: However, Jacques is such a wuss! He wouldn't even accept Adair's duel!
Ed: To think he's actually a highly ranked knight!
Maaaan Ed. XDD Wow. That's quite an expression right there! I'm so used to all the characters who don't react at all, like Ice and Judgment... and Sun who always has to smile in public. So all these changing expressions of Ed's... XDDD Again, Adair. ♥ (I'm also laughing at the cat and birds in the background next to Sun)
The next few pages go into musing about Jacques and such, and Sun gets confused because he doesn't know who Jacques is, and he's even more alarmed when the sun knights mention that the Monastery of the God of War is now involved too, as Jacques has gotten them to protect him. Ed comments that he would rather fight with the people from the Monastery of the God of War than to end up pushed off a cliff by his captain for not following orders. They decide to fight the Monastery of the God of War until Adair reminds them that if their captain doesn't know about the Monastery of the God of War being involved now, they might be killed by their captain.

*gazes..*
Adair: ...
Adair: Sigh! I think I'll ask the captain after all. Don't do anything yet.
Random sun knight: Thanks, Adair!
Random sun knight: You're the only one who can correctly comprehend what the heck the captain says.
Ed: If the captain wants to push you off the cliff, we'll sneakily catch you at the bottom.
Adair: No, no, if the captain discovers that, I will die an even worse death. Please let me fall.
Adair: If the captain wants to push a boulder down with me, remember to help him push it, and you must choose the largest one as well.
<33333 I just looove this scene. Such camaraderie between the sun knights! They all know their captain well too. XDDD Ed has a cute smile here...
The next page, the sun knights comment that Adair is sneaky. If they push a large boulder onto Adair, then he'll definitely get wounded almost fatally and their captain will therefore quickly heal Adair with his superb healing magic. Adair smiles. kljfda;sdjfla;sdjfa; Okay, I should have scanned this page too after all, why didn't I.. ;____________; Adair's smile, ahhhhhhh. Is it at how silly everyone's being? Or at the thought that his captain will definitely heal him? Anyway, Grisia is on the roof and has heard all of this. He realizes that he hasn't told his platoon that he knows Resurrection now, so even if one of them dies, he can still revive them. He wants an answer out of Adair, but at this time, Dragon Saint Brigandine asks if master wants to use more blood to extend the transformation, as the time period has about ended. Grisia yells that of course he doesn't want to do that! He doesn't want to be sucked dry!

A map! A maaaap! I don't feel like translating this page, since I'm posting it mostly for the map. XD;; Grisia muses about the three kingdoms and the Son of the God of War. He wonders about why the Monastery of the God of War has gotten involved with his platoon. But eeeh, a map! Forgotten Sound is in the middle (top left). Not too sure what the symbol is of, but it looks like wings? Bottom is Kissinger. Symbol seems to be made of triangles and crosses. Moon Orchid is to the top right, symbol being a moon and flowers.

Grisia: Ah!
Grisia: Brother Storm.
Storm: Is there something you want to ask me this time, Knight-Captain Sun?
Grisia: Might you have heard of Jacques?
Storm: Jacques? You mean the third son of Baron Gerland?
Grisia: The third son of Baron Gerland! So he's Jacques! I did tell Adair once to pummel him until he could no longer open his mouth to repent!
Grisia: Adair, oh Adair, I have wronged you. You are my loyal vice-captain after all!
Storm: Sun?
Storm appears! \o\ With what else other than a huge stack of paperwork? XDDD (Oh poor Storm...) His eyes are always drawn with dark lines right underneath them. I guess to look like eye bags? He does look tired. XDDD Sun looks cute here with his smile (oh, I seem to have been calling him Grisia a lot XDDD).

*moves closer*
Storm: The younger brother of one of the maids of the princess has told me that the Son of the God of War has arrived in the Kingdom of Forgotten Sound.
Storm: After greeting the king and the prince, they went to greet the princess. The Son of the God of War has also brought along a lot of luggage this time, and the "luggage" is very heavy and locked securely.
Grisia: Luggage? More like proposal gifts. So the Son of the God of War actually wants to propose to my kingdom's princess!
Storm: Also, Baron Gerland must have something to do with this too. There seems to be many people related to the Monastery of the God of War at his house...
Judgment: Knight-Captain Sun.
*shock*
*cautious*
Grisia: Knight-Captain Judgment. What a beautiful night it is.
Storm sharing his gossip! XD; Huh, so the maids and even siblings of the maids talk to Storm? XD Hahahaha, Storm and Sun both look so cute when they were shocked by Judgment's voice. They even had ears like a shocked animal. XDDD *looks at the lower left pic* Yup, Sun's clothes are much shorter now. Looks a lot more mobile. Less flowy too. In fact, it looks like Judgment's would now be the hardest to move in... He's like a walking cone!

Judgment: The Pope is looking for you.
Grisia: Your Holiness, the Pope.
I mostly included this pic so we could see the back of Sun's clothes! :3;; It looks like there are still wings on his outfit, or at least feathers, but they don't extend out from the back anymore, so they don't stick out? Sun has his hair tied with a blue bow.
I skipped all the pages of the meeting, but it's basically Sun and the Pope snarking at each other (Sun thinking about how the Pope must be at least over 60; he looked 15 even while his teacher had just started out, yet he still looks the same now. Even his teacher only maintains an appearance of a 30 year old by using magic). The Pope discusses the problem of Hell with Sun. Hell has been sent as a spy to the palace since he was young, but his situation seems to be a bit difficult at the moment. Sun feels that the Pope is just pushing this onto him because it's too difficult to handle, but when the Pope says that maybe this means they will have to sacrifice Hell, Sun immediately says that no one is allowed to touch his holy knights. He snatches the trinket that the Pope says will summon the Hell Knight to a certain meeting location. At this time, Blaze kicks open the door, startling both the Pope and Sun. He yells that Adair is about to draw his last breath. Shocked, Sun slams into Adair's room. We get a panel of bloodied Adair. DDDDD:
(I'm quite amused that when Blaze kicks open the door, Sun immediately adopts a more sophisticated speech to address Blaze, unlike how blunt he was being with the Pope. Hm, is it because the door is open?)

*Ultimate Heal*
Sun performing healing magic. <3333 I thought it looked pretty. And Sun looks super worried. Adaaair... DDDD: That cross-shaped scar looks like it'd hurt a lot.

Grisia: He should be okay now...
Grisia: Even if Adair had died, I could use Resurrection to revive him, but Resurrection is too risky...
*jumps up*
Everyone: Captain!
Everyone: Captain!
Everyone: Captain!
Grisia: First it was singing, then I used holy light to hide Roland's dark aura, now I even used such a high leveled healing spell. Even I would get taxed.
*holding up*
Ed: ...
Adair: Captain...
Ahhhhh, first thing Adair does is leap up to yell for his captain. XDDDD In that bottom left panel, he is so looking at his captain in worry. XDDD Oh hey, that scar has healed nicely. What strong healing magic! :O

Grisia: Adair, lie the *** down! Don't think that just because your outer injuries have healed, that it means you weren't wounded before.
Grisia: Rather than wait for you to tire yourself out, why don't I flatten you right now!
*huff huff huff*
*lies straight down* *afraid to move*
Grisia: Blaze!
*shock*
Blaze: Huh?
Grisia: ... Sun needs to take care of a few "platoon matters."
Grisia: Please leave for a bit. Remember to close the door.
Blaze: ...okay.
Blaze: Take care!
*smiles*
*shuts the door*
Oh gosh, Grisia was almost going to yell at Blaze too until he remembered to smile. XDDD;;; Blaze looks so out of his element here. XDDD I love how Sun just... finds no need to pretend in front of his platoon. XD He is super angry here.
*pushes away*
Grisia: So, can someone tell me now what exactly has happened?
Adair: Captain...
Grisia: Shut up. You're not allowed to open your mouth to talk. Even better, go to sleep!
Grisia: Ed, you report.
*shock* *first time he's been called by name*
Ed: Y-Yes! W-We met Jacques in the streets. Because of Captain's orders...
Adair: Jacques is Baron Gerland's third son. Also, Captain hasn't ordered us...
Adair: ...
AAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah! So so cute that Adair couldn't help jumping in here to explain about Jacques since he knows his captain probably doesn't know Jacques's name. XDDD; And then he immediately realizes that he's just gone against his captain's orders, ahhhh. (I also adore Grisia's sitting pose up in the top left corner. It's not exactly the most elegant way to sit. XDDD Goes to show how much of his personality he shows in front of his platoon!)

Grisia: It's not just Judgment who knows me well. There's also Adair... If I hadn't been on the rooftop listening to them talk and if I hadn't asked Storm, I probably wouldn't have known that Jacques is the third son of Baron Gerland.
Grisia: Ed, continue.
Ed: Because of Captain's orders...
Ed: No, no! Not because of Captain's orders. It's um, um...
Ed: Um...
Ed: Because...
Ed: of...
Grisia: ...
Adair: Captain, please let me say it! I really really want to say it. If I can't say it, I won't be able to rest.
Grisia: I really don't know what to do with you. If you want to say it so much, then say it.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah. Grisia is not amused. XDD Ed stumbled so much. XDD (This is the Ed of my impressions! Easily flustered and can talk himself into a corner without realizing it. XDD) I'm still finding it cute how Adair has his hands over his mouth to prevent himself from speaking, but he really couldn't help it and Ed wasn't explaining anything correctly. XDD Hahaha, but what's with the sparkles around Adair? I guess he was just that happy that he could speak now... XDDD

Adair: We met Jacques, the third son of Baron Gerland, on the streets. When I saw him, I immediately remembered that he had once used his sword to injure the Captain.
Adair: And he was even despicable enough to attack from behind!
Grisia: As expected of Adair, who has been my vice-captain for five years. No random person can hold a light to his ability to lie through his teeth.
Grisia: The actual situation was that I was escaping when I got hurt by his sword that he threw at me, yet Adair can actually spin this into a situation where Jacques was sneak-attacking me... Adair, you are no doubt worthy of being my vice-captain. When I chose you, I really had good judgment!
Adair: Thus, I couldn’t help but request a duel with him. However, that despicable knight wouldn’t accept the duel and instead found a helper to challenge me...
Grisia: Just who was the one who injured you?
Adair: ...
Adair: It was the Son of the God of War himself.
I love Adair's "language" skills. XDDDD With how he can spin tales like this one, he really would have made a fine Sun Knight too. XDDDD

Hilarious 4-koma.
My Teacher Taught Me...
Storm: Sun, my teacher taught me the secret to completing the parade with one thousand winks!
Sun: Oh?
*hungry...*
Storm: My teacher said, I just have to touch your shoulders like this...
Storm: And to help you place this strand of hair back in its place...
Storm: Even if I don't wink at anyone during the entire parade, girls will still scream until they faint.
Storm: Come, lets try it out.
Sun: ...
*both horse and man steps back!*
*Former Storm Knight, do you use this on Neo?!*
Aha! This was one of the pics that Neko Kreuz posted online. :3;;; Hahahahahaha. I can't help grinning at this. Pfffffft. Both Judgment and Sun are so traumatized, and even the horses are unimpressed. And, and... *dies at the thought that former Storm Knight Lanbi also tried this on Neo.* My mind is breaking now.

Finally the title page of the next chapter. I might as well have posted all of chapter 15 whoops. Scanned too much of Adair. XDD Anyway, this chapter is called "The Sun Knight and Grisia." I believe this is a pic of Elijah in his royal knight uniform! :DDD

Grisia: As the saying goes, "know who the owner is before beating a dog!"
Grisia: No matter what, Adair is still the Sun Knight's dog... No, no! I mean, he's my subordinate.
Grisia: And he is even the leader of all of my d...subordinates!
Grisia: I don't care if he's the Son of the God of War or not. With his kind of status, asking for a duel with you is unreasonable.
Grisia: How could you be so foolish as my vice-captain?
*discontent*
Ed: Captain, Adair wasn't foolish! If Adair hadn't agreed to the duel, then he was going to directly challenge you, and...
Adair: Ed!
Grisia: ...
Grisia: So, the Son of the God of War long since uncovered that my swordsmanship is not good, so he forced Adair to take my place. But why did he have to do this?
*posts this one just for Adair with dog ears.* XDDDD;; Also, pffft, Sun's swordsmanship... oh your swordsmanship. ;___; It is so infamous that people know to threaten your platoon with it. DDDD: But I'm touched that Adair took Sun's place. :3;;; (Also damn you Mike, for injuring Adair so severely! I should write a Adair and Mike confrontation sometime...)

Grisia: Continue!
Ed: Yes.
Ed: And, and, the victory had already been decided, yet the Son of the God of War still wouldn't stop!
Ed: When we wanted to help, we were all stopped by the warriors from the Monastery of the God of War.
Random sun knight: If the royal knights hadn't come to help us, the Son of the God of War would definitely have killed Adair!
Random sun knight: Yeah! Thankfully Elijah came to help!
Grisia: The royal knights saved Adair?
Grisia: And who's Elijah?
Grisia: The royal knights are subordinates of the crown prince, and the Monastery of the God of War are allies of the crown prince. Why would they stop the Monastery of the God of War?
They muse some more. :3;; Posting this one just for Ed. XDD;; I really didn't think Ed would look so "cute"... XDD

Adair: Captain, Elijah is the leader of the younger knights among the royal knights.
Adair: However, he is loyal to the princess, so the crown prince doesn't like him too much.
Crown prince: ...
*Crown prince who is unable to do anything against him*
Random nameless sun knight: Even so, he is very strong. Among the younger knights, his reputation is very high, so the crown prince has no choice but to give him many missions.
Ed: Rumor has it that he and the princess are together, and he gets along well with the queen. Even the crown prince's wife puts in a word here and there for Elijah, giving the crown prince many headaches.
Grisia: This Eljiah sounds a lot like Storm...
Ed: Exactly! Captain, Elijah and Knight-Captain Storm are rivals among the ladies! Knight-Captain Storm dislikes him the most.
Grisia: You sure know everything.
Grisia: Since when has my Sun Knight Platoon become the Gossip Platoon?
XDDDD In which Ed continues putting his foot in his mouth happily, haha. Sun is not very impressed. Adair looks a lot more mature in these two chapters. I remember he appeared in a panel earlier when Sun and the rest were fighting against Roland. He didn't look like this then! His hair was shorter and he looked younger. Now he looks like Roland. A mix of Roland and Ice? It's going to be hard to tell them apart!! I'm amused over how Elijah sounds like Storm, and how Ed thinks Storm "dislikes" Elijah because of his popularity with the ladies. XDD;; Also, Gossip Platoon! (I still really want to write a fic titled "The Gossip Knights.")

Ed: Of course, even Knight-Captain Storm often comes to gossip with us!
Grisia: !!
Grisia: So my Sun Knight Platoon is normally gossiping...
Grisia: Adair! The Sun Knight Platoon will run a lap within the city walls every morning from now on!
*conflicted*
*pretends he doesn't care*
Grisia: What? Can't do it? You call yourselves knights?
Grisia: Is a lap too much?
*doesn't have a good grasp of how much distance a lap within the walls is*
*raises his courage*
Ed: Captain, five years ago when we first met, you ordered us to run five laps. Three years ago when our physical performance scores lost to the Judgment Knight Platoon, you ordered us to run three laps.
Ed: At that time, Adair thought that you meant an additional three laps, so we've been running eight laps, so now...
Grisia: ...
Grisia: ...I mean an additional lap. You have a problem with that?
Ed: No! Captain.
Grisia: Good! Other than Adair, everyone else, scram!
Everyone: Yes!
*jots this down* I've referred to this in Bittersweet Sweetness. Will be mentioning in Invincible, aaaand this will be part of Warmth of the Sun too, the laps part, not the part about gossiping with Storm, though that would be fun too. XDDD

Grisia: ...
Grisia: Adair, I'm giving you one week of sick leave, but you must try not to leave the Holy Temple if you can help it. Same for the Sun Knight Platoon. If they must leave, they must wear everyday clothes.
Grisia: Also, you must sleep lots, eat lots of eggs and meat, drink lots of milk, and don't do strenuous exercise.
Grisia: These are all orders. You must follow them...
Grisia: Understood?
Adair: Yes, Captain.
*melts at Adair's smile* XDDDDDD!!though I feel he looks a little off in this pic Look, your captain cares! Also, nice side view of Grisia's clothes here. He has a flower on the side...?

Grisia: You actually dared to lay a hand on Adair. I don't care if you're the Son of the God of War or not. You're going to die horrendously, so much that you won't know who to take revenge on! Hmph!
Grisia: But I'll have to plan the revenge out so... I should take care of Knight-Captain Hell first.
Grisia: He's here!
*Cute and large eyes* (a trait of a cute and handsome guy)
*frivolous smile* (a trait of the bad and handsome guy)
*broad chest* (a trait of a mature and handsome guy)
Elijah makes his appearance! *stares* Not what I was expecting! XDD Hm, his hair style is a little like Earth's? He looks too kind? XDD

Sun goes on to think about Elijah's all purpose handsomeness. He's not handsome enough that guys will want to kill him, but he has traits that many women would find desirable depending on what they like. (What a suiting person to send as spy!) Elijah is surprised that the Sun Knight is the one meeting him (sounds like he usually meets the Pope?) He asks Sun not to call him Hell. He is a royal knight, not the Hell Knight! (yeaaah, I've gotten too tired to translate word for word, so I paraphrased. |D;;;; ) Sun is not happy. The Pope had thrown something messy at him after all.

Oh Elijah. We get a flashback of young Elijah with the princess.(cute young Elijah!!!) Elijah talks about how the royal knights are his comrades that have gone through life and death with him, while he doesn't know a single one of the Twelve Holy Knights. He trained for one year with the Holy Temple and was with the palace for 12 years.
It loos like the thing he uses on his cravat/whatever that is called is the symbol of the Kingdom of Forgotten Sound! It looks like the symbol on the map from earlier.

Elijah: Do, do you get my meaning? Sun Knight, I, I don't know the God of Light, don't know the Holy Temple, don't know the Twelve Holy Knights...
Elijah: On the contrary, the palace is where I truly belong. The royal knights are my true comrades.
Grisia: ...
Grisia: No wonder the Pope wanted to kill him. A spy who has decided to enter the enemy faction is more dangerous than anything else.
Elijah: I haven't told the crown prince anything, but the princess knows everything. She won't reveal anything,
Elijah: But she said that if anything happens to me, she will put all the blame on the Church of the God of Light.
*backs up*
Grisia: Please do not worry! You should know that I am not good with a sword. Even if we cross swords I would not be able to win against you.
Grisia: You can also see that I have brought no one else with me.
*harmless*
Elijah: A-Ah!
Elijah: I'm sorry.
Oh Elijah. But, rofl, Sun, you, harmless? *rolls on the floor* Elijah, it was smart of you to back up. Sun using his bad swordsmanship to reassure Elijah... XDDDD

Elijah: I wasn't suspecting you on purpose! It's j-just that the princess said that the Holy Temple might murder me...haha! Come to think of it, how could the Sun Knight do something like murdering someone to shut them up.
*embarrassed*
Elijah: Once I realized that it was you, I should have understood that the Holy Temple bears me no ill will. I am very sorry.
Grisia: What a smart princess! It looks like the princess isn't to be underestimated either. She even emphasized that if anything happens to Hell, she'll blame it all on the Church.
Grisia: Please give me a little time to consider how to take care of this.
Grisia: Also, please do not reveal this matter. If this were to drift to the crown prince's ear, the Church and the palace would have to confront each other.
Grisia: I believe that you, having stayed with both the Church and the palace, will not want to see it come to that.
Elijah: Yes, even though our time together was short, my holy knight teacher was very good to me.
Elijah: Even though I have decided to be loyal to the palace, I will never do anything to harm the Church.
Aww, Elijah. So cute. :3;; But haha, dropping your guard against Grisia... not a smart idea! Still, he's not going to off you or anything, so you're safe.
Next page, Sun puts on his facial mask, contemplates all of his problems, and then the facial mask curse strikes again. XDDD Sun asks in his extravagant speech about who's outside his door. Judgment plainly says, "It's me." Sun immediately drops his fancy speech and says to come in. Judgement is disgusted by the pink facial mask. XDDD The green one is shocking at first but the pink one is more disgusting. Grisia says that he'll do half half next time then, so he can both shock him and disgust him. Ahhh, should have scanned these two pages too. One of them has a nice shot of the back of Judgment's clothes.

*smiles*
Judgment: You still have time to do your facials? You must have many complications at the moment.
*lazy*
Sun: Like what?
Judgment: The Monastery of the God of War is here. No matter how I think about it, they must be here to widen their influence and to gain more followers.
Judgment: And gaining followers is your duty.
Judgment: ...
Sun: ?
Sun: Is a pink facial mask that disgusting?
XDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD First, eeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, Judgment's smile. Ahhhhhhhhh. And then, Sun lazily lying on his bed while Judgment talks. And then and then, Judgment not being able to look at Sun because the pink mask is too disgusting, hahahahaha!

Sun: I know, I'm just doing my facial and thinking at the same time about the problem of attracting followers.
Judgment: I think you're just sleeping.
Sun: ...Judgment knows me too well.
Sun: Alright, then in order for me not to fall asleep, help me think!
Judgment: I can't! I still have criminals to judge.
Sun: ... ):
Judgment: I'm just here to give you these blueberry chocolates from Ice. He said you can keep these with you so that you won't go hungry again.
*opens*
*smells so good*
Sun: Dear Ice! You make such a good wife and mother. If you were female, I would definitely marry you!
Sun: Ah!
Judgment: I'm leaving.
Hahahahaha, Judgment is quickly retreatingbecause the pink mask is too scary. So adorable that Ice has prepared this for Sun, and that Judgment is here to deliver it. <333 So this is the little pouch with the sun emblem embroidered on it! :DDDD Oh, we get to see the back of Judgment's clothes here too, though a little small. (Haha, Sun has grown ears in this panel XDDD). Hm, it looks like Judgment has a cape that is twisted out of the way so that the cross on his back is revealed...?
Next three pages, Judgment and Sun think about why Adair was attacked. Judgment was about to leave, but once Sun asked, Judgment can't help but think things through. He believes it's most likely because Sun knows Resurrection. The Monastery of the God of War wanted to see if Sun really did know it. Sun wonders how they learned that he knew Resurrection so quickly. Judgment says it's a given that there must be a few spies among them. Judgment falls silent and then says, "...if you learned a little earlier, you could have cast it upon your friend Roland to save him." ADJF;ADJA (My head canon is that this is exactly why Grisia learned Resurrection, but then he discovered the limits. Though it's likely that Grisia realized how it worked from studying necromancy)

Grisia explains to Judgment the limits of Resurrection. Such a cute explanation! XDDD
The essential requirements of Resurrection:
1. Must be performed within 8 hours of death
2. The head must be intact
3. Very strong holy light
Grisia: Resurrection could be said to be the same type of spell as one used to create undead.
Grisia: Except, one is cast within eight hours, while the other is cast after eight hours.
*the body*
Grisia: If Resurrection is cast on someone who has been dead over eight hours,
Grisia: The revived body will be like a corpse and continue rotting, but the person will still be "living" until the body completely rots or until the head gets chopped off.
* Undead creatures don't continue rotting because the necromancers will specially preserve the bodies and they also control the minds of the corpses so that they will listen obediently like a puppet.
Grisia: There's also the failure rate. A price must be paid for revival. Anyway, let me tell you first, you better not create a situation where I will need to caste Resurrection on you.
Grisia: Because I can't be sure that I will be able to resurrect you, and who knows if you will return with two horns or breasts or even worse...
Judgment: Enough!
Judgment: Resurrection sounds very unstable.
Grisia: Exactly! If it were simple, who would be afraid of death?
*jots this down as notes* :3;;;
Also on the next page: The Pope also knows Resurrection, but he has a lower success rate. Grisia's success rate of a resurrection without side effects is 1/4. This is the highest success rate in the past 500 years. Resurrection also cannot resurrect people who die of old age or people who die of illnesses because old people would still die right away, and ill people's illnesses will not be cured. If someone is afraid of being killed, they might as well just hire a bodyguard.
Next page, they muse some more and talk about Elijah saving Adair. Sun learns that Judgment knows of Elijah and Judgment mentions that the Sun Knight Platoon seems to be on good terms with him.

Sun: Okay, okay, I'll ask someone else.
Sun: Geez! I was scolded by Judgment! This is all the Monastery of the God of War's fault!
Judgment: Sun...
Sun: What? I said I won't ask Adair.
Judgment: You haven't washed your face yet...
Sun: ...
Sun: I once had a vice-captain who could do everything, but I didn't know how to treasure him.
Sun: Now that I've lost him, I've finally realized his importance...
Ed: Captain, what a coincidence!
Sun: Without Adair, I actually had to ask Storm to find out where my Sun Knight Platoon was!
Ed: Captain! Are we going to gang up on someone?
Sun: Sun recalls that Sun has advised his brothers not to leave the Holy Temple?
*shock*
XDDDDDDD If Sun had walked out like that, oh man, I wonder how many people would have screamed? XD Also, Sun's image... XDDD ROFL, Sun, you speak like Adair has died... it's only temporary... oh dear, you had to ask Storm??? Just to find your own subordinates... XDD

Ed: C-Captain! We listened to you and wore our casual clothes. T-This is the first time we've left the Holy Temple and it's because we've invited Elijah to the tavern to t-thank him for saving Adair.
Sun: Speaking of Elijah, you guys were actually already close with him since before? Previously, the mess made by that fat pig of a king gave me twice the headache and now the crown prince is making it five times worse! And yet you guys are having a good time! You actually dared to secretly liaise with the enemy’s subordinate behind my back!”
Ed: We're not secretly liaising! We know Elijah because we got the wrong guy and accidentally beat him up.
Ed: And we didn't discover that we beat the wrong guy until we finished,
Ed: So we could only quickly heal him and treat him to wine.
Sun: ...
Sun: How could you get the wrong guy! How did all of you even make it into the Sun Knight Platoon!
Ed: Captain, that was our first time beating someone up! We must have a chance of making a mistake?
Sun: If the person you had accidentally beaten was me, then rest assured you would have only had that one chance of making a mistake!
Hahahaha, oh the Sun Knight Platoon. *shakes head* I can just imagine this scene. They must have gotten Elijah good if he couldn't retaliate. He's pretty strong after all. Pfft, Ed's reactions are priceless, and then he turns into all smiles so quickly after Sun releases him. XDDD I love that Sun doesn't at all hold back in front of Ed either. The SKP are so used to it, huh? XDDD Also, Elijah and the SKP on good terms... The SKP accidentally beating Elijah up... oh man. Makes me wonder just who exactly Sun wanted his knights to beat up...

Ed: Captain, how would we ever mistakenly beat you? You are an outstanding person that even gods envy.
Nameless sun knight: A thousand streams of auspicious golden light surrounds you.
Nameless sun knight: You have rosy lips and pure white teeth.
Nameless sun knight: If you but turn your head and smile, you could charm a hundred people!
Sun: Shut up!
Sun: What kind of descriptions are those! Bastards!
Ed: Captain, so can we go meet Elijah? The time has already passed...
Sun: Seems like Elijah saved Adair out of the good of his heart and didn't have anything up his sleeves. In that case, as the captain, I should thank him.
Sun: If Adair had truly died and I had to cast Resurrection on him
Sun: Who knows if the resurrected Adair would have anything extra...
Sun: ...I really should thank him thoroughly!
*shivers*
XDDDDDDD I can't get enough of the Sun Knight Platoon. They are hilarious. Pfft, are you describing a beauty, or your captain? (Oh, both? XDDD;;; )

Sun: Hm?
Sun: This figure... is very familiar. I must have seen his back somewhere!
Villager: Sun Knight? And the Sun Knight Platoon?
Villager: I'm a good person! Don't arrest me!
Villager: I've paid for all of my wine!
Villager: I have never vandalized the walls of the Church of the God of Light before!
Villager: I haven't stolen the underwear of my neighbor Flower. It was blown away by the wind!
Ed: Everyone, please calm down. We're not here to arrest anyone. We're here to drink!
Villagers: Liars! Everyone knows that the Sun Knight doesn't drink!
Villagers: Exactly! I heard that one cup will make his face redden, two will make his head hurt, and three will render him unconscious.
Villagers: That kind of tolerance isn't befitting of a man...Erk! Forget I said anything!
Villagers: Ah...
Ed: Don't be nervous! The captain is just here to join the fun!
Sun: Ed.
XDDDDDDDDDDDd In which the villagers prove that they are all very silly too. LMAO, confessing like that... Wait until the Judgment Knight sets foot in your store. =P Also, again, Ed... XDDDD

Anyway, Ed introduces Sun to Elijah, who turns out to be Hell. XDDD Both Sun and Elijah are surprised to meet here.

They pretend they haven't met before. Sun tries to recall where he's seen Elijah's back before, then he recalls that it was the figure he saw with the princess in the tunnels under the palace. That makes Elijah the princess's lover.

Plan get! Sun has now thought of a plan to solve the problem of Hell and the problem of the Monastery of the God of War and pretty much everything else.

He invites Elijah to drink in the next room. Ed and the others wish Elijah good luck. "Good bye." "We're sorry." XDDDDD

Sun reveals that he has a plan to help Elijah take care of his second identity. Elijah is at first elated (so cute!), then he immediately amends that he won't betray the palace. Sun tells him not to worry. It's nothing like that. (Maaaan look at all those bottles of alcohol in front of them)

Hahaha, Sun beats Elijah soundly at drinking and tells everyone that Elijah drank all 10 bottles (while Sun actually only gave Elijah 1 and a half bottles. Ed exclaims that it's impossible that Elijah drank them all. Usually people get done in just from the first bottle. Sun contemplates coming back as Supreme Dragon to drink more later.

When Sun returns, Storm quickly rushes over to tell Sun that he has a visitor.

Turns out the visitor is the princess. :3;;;; Second female character? XD; Only other one outside of Pink so far?

Wine debt paid by corpse
Grisia: Today, I learned something new...
Grisia: Roland, let's go to the tavern!
Roland: Grisia, the Sun Knight can't drink wine. Three cups will...
*falls*
Grisia: I didn't know that even a Death Knight can get drunk.
Grisia: Good thing he got drunk.
Grisia: So that I could leave him there and let the tavern lady and the waitresses touch him, using a handsome guy... no! A handsome corpse, to pay the money.
Grisia: I didn't know the drunk-in-one would be so expensive!
*bill*
Grisia: In the end, I hauled this drunk corpse back to Pink's house.
Pink: Oh! The Sun Knight got the Death Lord drunk!
Grisia: I didn't get him drunk!
...never go drinking with Grisia, Roland!!!! Poor Roland! But wow, even after death, you can still get drunk, huh...
In conclusion, I looooved these two chapters. So much of Adair and the Sun Knight Platoon! XDDDDDDDDDDDDd

The cover of Moon's side story, "Pride"! He has a beauty mark under his left eye. I feel "Pride" fits a bit more as the title. I read the side story and... huh. XD; It kind of spoils a little about volume 6! Though I suppose it's alright for new readers of just the manhua to learn of this tidbit first before reaching that point in the main storyline... Would just make for a different reading experience...
In this side story, we get to learn Vival Moon's teacher's name. We learn a bit about Vidar, Lesus's vice-captain, and how he chose him. Then we get some Vival + Lesus interaction. Laica Metal is also part of this. I don't feel like I actually learned much about Moon, but I did like all the other tidbits...
Was going to summarize this, but maybe in another entry! ORZ, I ended up... scanning too much of the manhua in my flailing over Adair, ahahaha...

And here's the envelop that the manhua and side story came in! It was Ecilan on here after all. XD; Grisia's new outfit kind of resembles Ice's now, I feel. To the right, it says, "Maybe I'll make blueberry pie again today?" Look at his cute smile when he's thinking this~ ♥
Surprisingly, after reading this, Ed has totally grown on me.

*melts at Adair's smile* XDDDDDD!!

Hahahahaha, Judgment is quickly retreating

*jots this down as notes* :3;;;

Date: 2012-10-09 02:11 pm (UTC)and so much Ed, I've laughed so hard, Ed sure is expressive, reminds me a bit of Blaze, actually.
I keep mistaking Adair with Ice...
lol, I hadn't noticed it, but yeah, you've been calling them all by title except for Grisia, guess that's what happened when you write a fic where you use more the name that the title... lol
uoooh nice light show, ultimate heal, Sun's hair is floating, must be a looooot of power
... had the impression that Blaze was one to help catch him in the novel...
and Adair jumps up
Grisia is so angry there
real cool how he stops himself from yelling at Blaze
and he's still sparkling at the door
ooh, I hadn't thought about Lanbi using this on Neo, I would have feared for my life...
Elijah sure does look like Earth, mistook him there for a moment
he is rather cute
and even more when he was a child
sun, harmless? snooooort
oh cute Judge smile
and all the chocolates....
yep, Ed reminds me of Blaze
*head-desk* the townspeople...
wooow, storm looks cool there (telling Sun he's got a visitor)
Cute Ice smile (and I'm still flailing over Ice blushing in the last chapter at PR)

Date: 2012-10-10 03:13 am (UTC)Ed completely surprised me with his cuteness. He is seriously super expressive! He went from happy to suspicious to scared all in one chapter. XD
I feel Adair resembles kind of a mix of Roland and Ice now. If only they were colored, then I wouldn't mistake them, haha. But in these black and white panels, it might get a little hard to tell...
lol, I hadn't noticed it, but yeah, you've been calling them all by title except for Grisia, guess that's what happened when you write a fic where you use more the name that the title... lol
Yeah, that probably has something to do with it! XD; I started off Bittersweet Sweetness with Lesus and Grisia calling each other Judgment and Sun, but they started using their first names to distinguish between their bodies and their consciousness... Also since volume 4 of the novels is currently all about "Grisia," I guess I got used to that! I tried switching back to Sun here, but I just ended up going back and forth throughout the post. ^^;;
uoooh nice light show, ultimate heal, Sun's hair is floating, must be a looooot of power
Enough power to cause his hair to float! *______* I want to see him cast more spells. 8D *looks forward to the tavern/bar fight scene with Neo and Aldrizzt*
Oh yeah, I think Blaze might have caught Sun in the novels. If he's in the room, he wouldn't hesitate to do that!
and he's still sparkling at the door
XDDD
ooh, I hadn't thought about Lanbi using this on Neo, I would have feared for my life...
The thought breaks my mind, hahahaha. Lanbi must be quite brave. Or, did things actually work out for Lanbi... XD
I get an honest appearance kind of feeling from Elijah with his eyes and his hair. No wonder I'm reminded of Earth, haha.
Elijah is in for some shoooock about Sun being "harmless." Pffft. XD
Judgment's smile. ♥
I feel Ed and Blaze's resemblance would have been even greater if manhua!Blaze were drawn younger looking like in the novels. At the moment, Ed does kind of look like a younger version of Blaze. With lots of exaggerated motions too, haha. Oh, and both of them have one of their canines showing?
The people in that tavern... totally digging themselves a hole...
Storm gets to give all the info to Sun, haha.
(and I'm still flailing over Ice blushing in the last chapter at PR)
Ice is seriously so adorable in the chapter. Rambling about sweets and then blushing. <33333

Date: 2012-10-16 01:19 pm (UTC)Hahahaha poor Adair, he was in heaven and five seconds later in hell. Talk about, how your idol lose face XD.
I think, I love Ed already.
And Elijah...You really have NOT IDEA, with who you are talking. Grisia? Harmless? Pff yeah, and pigs fly.
For some reason, Storm and Sun relationship is like...Gossiping sisters...HAHAHAHHA.
For first time, we see Leithe weakness. He can´t stand Sun pink mask. Pfff.
A drunk Roland IS SO CUTE! And Moon is really handsome! *_*.

Date: 2012-10-17 06:40 am (UTC)I know right, he was so happy he was finally going to serve in the Sun Knight Platoon. It was his dream and everything! Oh to serve the perfect Sun Knight...
And then it turned out that the Sun Knight's a despicable bastard. XDDD
Ed never made much of an impression on me before (just thought he was useful for blabbing stuff out so we get to find out stuff XDDD) but goodness, he was expressive here. I'm starting to like him. :3
Elijah is in for a world of surprises, haha!
LOL. Storm and Sun, the gossiping sisters... Look how shocked they were when Judgment approached them. It was like they were doing something wrong, haha.
Drunk Roland. :DDD
Oh yes, Moon is really handsome. :) It's really too bad he always needs to find super tall girlfriends...

Date: 2012-10-17 01:47 pm (UTC)Yeah...The "most perfect" Sun knight in the story...Oh the irony. Well a lesson for the knights, no that everything that shine is gold XD.
For me Ed, was like the knight that Sun wanted to beat the most sometimes. In the manhwa, he is so funny! He really is the contrast of Adair, that keeps a calm face in all the pictures X3.
See? Is was like: "Waaa we were caught by mother/dad!" XD.
At least he can have a girlfriend. Think in all that Sun has to suffer XD. (I still remember this phrase of him: "Are you trying to make gay!!?"
Hey the picture in your journal is of the LSK???
no subject
Date: 2012-10-18 03:23 am (UTC)The irony is sweeeeet. :)
Ed and Adair do contrast each other a lot. Hehe, I find that to be a good thing. Otherwise, the Sun Knight Platoon would be too dull. XD;;
Ahahahah! I'd say they were caught by their older brother. ;3
The image at the top of my journal is sort of related to LSK. It's actually of Female Warrior, another series by Yu Wo. :) (It's about the 1st generation of the Twelve Holy Knights).

Well who is not scared of Judge when he is passing? More since he knows everything in the Church! Even, Grisia is scared of making him mad XD.

I feel bad for Judgment. Everyone is wary of him! But then, that speaks to his authority, so I guess that's a good thing...
Earth is the one with the shield. :D He's so cute~.

Well it can´t be helped. He always look angry and scary. But, we know he is a softy inside (and his teacher is a really funny guy XD)
Yeah, but comparing with his succesor...He will cry if he knows what happened to the Earth Knight.
