The 1st volume of the Legend of Sun Knight has officially been announced~. It'll be released on 8/28.
The title is, "39 - Legend of Sun Knight". XD; I guess I'll just call it 39 LSK or Thirty-Nine from now on. =P Too bad we've already seen the cover art used for posters. I wanted new art! :3 It does say that we have 10 illustrations included inside. Hopefully they're character intros, but hm, only 10...? Wouldn't they need 12... Depending on whether you buy this online or in stores, you get a different poster (until supplies run out).
Translation of the summary, with lines borrowed from Prince Revolution's translation (as this intentionally mirrors the very first summary!)
Summary
On a side note, we've started posting Unbeatable over at Prince Revolution! ;) I look forward to when everyone learns more about Neo and Aldrizzt! And so that I can stop spoiling people in Invincible, haha...
Oh, and prompts have been revealed for No True Pair! *dances* Hopefully I'll write at least one thing this time...

Summary
I am a holy knight. To be precise, I am the Church of the God of Light's Sun Knight...in training.
The Church of the God of Light worships and serves the God of Light, and theirs is one of the three largest religions on this continent.
As the whole continent knows, the Church of the God of Light has the Twelve Holy Knights, and each one has his own unique personality and features.
To be the Sun Knight is to have shining golden hair, sky blue eyes, a compassionate nature, and a brilliant smile.
...even the Sun Knight-in-training is no exception.
The 38th generation of the Twelve Holy Knights have completed their term of office, yet the time for the 39th generation to take over is still far in the indefinite future.
The Judgment Knight is brash and easily angered; the Storm Knight and the Leaf Knight are always fighting nonstop, day and night.
Since childhood, the Sun Knight-in-training has watched the others grow from kids into adolescents.
What must he do in order to become comrades, who will fight through thick and thin for each other, with this group of "younger brothers"?
"Benevolent God of Light, may I ask when I will complete my training that has taken more than ten years?"

Date: 2012-08-26 05:35 am (UTC)I like Elaro's introduction. It's pretty cute. Hungri is truly like what you said. Even the summary describes him as brash!
Elaro alone is indeed a pretty good Sun Knight. Seems to be much more benevolent than either Neo or Grisia!
I think what he means by "more than 10 years" is that he's been at the Holy Temple for more than 10 years. He went to train as a regular holy knight way before the selections after all. I think he was already 12 or 13 when the selection started? Unless everyone's training really is going on for longer than 10 years... 0___0;; (Then the poor 38th gen can't retire on time...)

Date: 2012-08-26 06:33 am (UTC)more benevolent than Neo or Grisia...... ah.... that really isn't that difficult to achieve... is it? I wouldn't be that surprised if even the first Judgment was more benevolent than Grisia when he holds a grudge....
I also hope he is referring to the total time... I believe you mentioned Elaro was 15 when he got officially chosen. maybe Elaro is worried because he is already older than what Grisia was when he got the position... still, it only took about 3 to 4 years to get Georgo and Ceo acting properly... Grisia mentioned they were soon to finally retire so... must be quite more than that... such stubborn bunch of children the 38th gen ended up picking...

Date: 2012-08-26 07:57 pm (UTC)Haha, it really isn't hard to be kinder than Neo and Grisia. But Elaro does seem quite kind. Haha, Grisia is really scary when he's holding a grudge!
Ah, I have such a bad memory for details. I've already forgotten what age Elaro was when he gets chosen. XD;; *checks the v8 summary* Yup, he was 15 (so he's been training as a holy knight for quite some time already). Shuis was, I think 7 or so, when he gets chosen, and I think he's now 17, so 10 years has passed. Goodness, 10 years has passed yet Hungri is acting this way? What a Judgment Knight... And Shuis and Valica fight so much...

Date: 2012-08-27 04:30 am (UTC)with just the 8th book's epilogue it's easy to see that Elaro is trully kind
so it really is 10 years since they were chosen... and still being in training, poor teachers... such a bunch of stubborn children. I really do hope this book tells why Valica and Shuis have it so bad against each other. also curious for the new art... you're buy it right? can't wait to see your comments about it

Date: 2012-08-27 04:44 am (UTC)Ah, I should update the names of the characters in the v8 summary sometime now that we have more official names of the new kids. :3 Elaro was already kind as a kid. So self-sacrificing, following Grisia like that. It's no wonder Grisia had his heart set on him as his successor from the start. :)
I really hope we learn why Valica and Shuis dislike each other so much! The book is going to be released soon, and I do plan on buying it right away. XD; Just haven't decided if I should buy anything else along with it, since shipping for one book only would be a little expensive. I might have to go the slow route and have it shipped to a relative. ^^;; But hopefully I'll get it mid-September. *____*
