Four things! :D

♥ Looks like author names have now been revealed! Here's the fic I wrote. I hesitated over offering Kuroko no Basket, and of course that was the fandom I matched on. XD; Will be posting this here too!

Fandom: Kuroko no Basuke | Kuroko's Basketball
Relationships: Aida Riko/Hyuuga Junpei, Aida Riko/Kiyoshi Teppei
Summary: Riko's life isn't a basketball match, but sometimes it might as well be one.

This was written for stillskies, who wanted something involving Riko, Hyuuga, and Kiyoshi, friendship or romance, as long as all three interact somehow. Headcanon seemed to be that both Hyuuga and Kiyoshi like Riko, with tension among the three, so that's what I tried to run with.

I reread the manga, this time with my attention focused on those three. Makes for quite a different reading experience! :3 I got the brilliant idea of structuring my fic after a basketball match, with four quarters, half-time, time-outs, breaks, etc, which is why the summary is the way it is.

...except, it wasn't so brilliant when I got up to half-time and just couldn't write anymore. OTL Incomplete fic is incomplete. Blatantly so, especially with how the different sections in the fic are labeled. I mean, seriously, the fic ends at half-time! *flails* But what happens during half-time in the fic packs so much punch that what I wrote for the third quarter paled in comparison, so I took all of that out. The next time-out is a visit to Kiyoshi in the hospital (a scenario that I wanted to include! Also, hanafuda, hehe). We finally get to see the three of them interact in the same scene, slowly inching towards what would make this fic OT3, but I never quite get there with the fic. -___-;;

Fun fact. The only dialogue in this fic is during breaks and time-outs. No dialogue during the quarters. It made for an interesting writing experience! It...probably doesn't show very well because I didn't manage to include the third and fourth quarters. OTL

Style, what style? I did away with my normal dividers, but I don't think anyone would have found me by my style anyway, haha... (my style is all over the place from fic to fic...) but content-wise, this is pretty similar to what I normally write for romances. It's like, oh, time to write romance? Alright, confession time it is! OTL (It's not like pairing fic needs to include a confession, but I seem to only know how to write that, hahaha). Everything builds up to a confession or a realization, and then it ends. No wonder I wasn't able to write what followed after that...

As for what happens during half-time...hahaha. I was very amused when I had to decide if Hyuuga wore boxers or briefs. /o\ I just couldn't get the idea of Hyuuga confessing naked to Riko when I reread the manga (and remembered the "promise" the club members made about confessing naked if they don't reach their goals). XDD So that turned out to be a huge part of this fic. XDDD Hyuuga brings up not wanting to confess naked during his second year (which makes it sounds like he's never done it) but I just chalk that up to him needing to confess again if they fail yet again. =P Perhaps this time to both Riko and Kiyoshi. XD

♥ The author of my giftfic You and I, are alike but different and was qem_chibati like I had thought. XD; You had me guessing for a bit! Sneaky, sneaky Qem! Thank you for the fic. I wish I could snuggle with it. ♥

I had read the first volume before, I'd watched a few episodes of Sket Dance and had been working my way through Chihayafu. XD

(In short, I think you ahve most excellent tastes as always. XD)

...Huh. I ran over to check a few fics after you posted about the exchange and as it turns out, pretty much the only fics I read were the top three on your rec list! So happy to see +Anima and Nabari no Ou fics ♥

I was very happy to see +Anima and Nabari no Ou fics! :D Especially a Nabari no Ou fic about Gau and Raikou. *____* Yoite and Miharu get written a lot more, I find. Gau and Raikou are both so precious in the fic. I don't remember +Anima as well and had to look up Blanca to remind myself who she was, but oh was the fic beautiful with describing how she experienced the world. ♥

I find that although Yoite and Miharu get written much more, Gau and Raikou get all the long fics ^.^; That said, most of the NnO I've seen is less than 2000w anyway.

Cooro made +Anima for me, and Blanca had a beautiful panel when she was introduced (the art in +Anima is amazing!) so that fic brought back all kinds of bittersweet, nostalgic feelings >.< That arc was...*sobs helplessly*

That was what I noticed, but then again, I waded into very shallow waters with the NnO fandom, so...

I love Nana's clothes :) They're always so pretty and detailed~ And Cooro's wings are amazing. Also his outfit ♥♥♥ Well, the friendship between the protagonists is one of the main ideas in the series, after all. It's a really beautiful, feel-good manga ♥

At first, Hyuuga wore boxers in this, but after editing, he ended up with briefs. XDDD;; Because he normally wears shorts anyway, haha, so boxers didn't seem like they would make that much of an impact. While I was writing this, I was wondering if there was anyone I could ask about their headcanon for this, hahaha, but I didn't want to give my fic away before reeals. XD;;;
