Tenipuri one coin grande figures
I dropped Yukimura! His capejacket came off. THE HORROR. I then took Zaizen with me in my purse because I was trying to look for a case to put all of my figures in, and when I took him out, his head fell off. CUE MORE HORROR. I think... they were made that way though, so I stuck his head back on... it's just a bit loose now... (Perhaps talk about my poor figures would be more effective with pictures. LOL)

Translations
I am so, so behind with writing and with translations. On the menu today: finally do proofreading (for two different things) and do more translating. I dislike the feeling of being behind. For some reason, I seem to have almost landed with one of the leadership positions of a certain translation group... how has this happened? Well, I'm both excited (and amused) and... not excited. The stress! Please just let me be a mindless drone with my entertainment. I have had my taste of leadership, and I say let other people do it so I can just enjoy the product. :'D Whatever happens, I won't be the leader leader though, so I should be fine...

Writing
Reread all of Bittersweet Sweetness. Hm, I seemed to have had a better handle on Judgment and Sun's voice near the beginning. They're getting sappier and sappier now. :'( I seem to have lost my momentum. *pokes at part 17* This part at least should be done soon though, and then I can get the story going again.

On the writing horizon:
colors_exchange (due Feb 14)
funpotexchange (due April 1, my assignment looks fun! now to find a plunny...)
no_true_pair (prompts revealed on Feb 12! Posting starts March 1, submit a list of 8 characters who will then get matched up with miscellaneous prompts. This makes for very fun results. I signed up with a bunch of lists, but probably LSK will bite me the hardest again)
springkink prompt collecting has started. Go toss in prompts! \o/ Prompts go up March 3, posting starts May. I didn't manage to write anything last round. Hoping this time will be different...

On the TCG side:
-finally caught up with my duties over at colors_tcg. It feels good not being behind. New release should go up today. Will happen after I make a new layout for the site...
-twistserve_tcg has been handed over to Ori, Saz, and Keigo. I wish them best of luck. ♥

I merged my openID of lucathia_rykatu (on DW) with my DW account (lucathia). Haha, now it looks like I've been making a ton of comments with my DW account.

They seem to be okay... I think they were made for their heads to be... turn-able, unless all of mine are loose... XD;; Haha, Yukimura's head came off too right after! I stuck his jacket back on, and then his head. I think that's how his jacket stayed on in the first place. (Kind of makes me want to give his jacket to another figure and see how they look with it).

You're welcome! The fishbone wallpaper was a last minute addition and it ended up making everything look cuter. *hugs*

I freaked out for a second when I turned Yukimura's head too far and it knocked off his jacket. But then a friend, fic_faery happened to post about how the heads were designed to be taken off (it apparently says so in the instructions) and she switched all of the heads. Here, have a picture of it:



I was thinking that the jacket would look right at home on Atobe's shoulders myself seeing those are the only two I have at the current moment ;)

LOL at the picture. I clearly have not read the instructions, haha. I'm tempted to switch them up! But I'm also afraid of loosening them too much... their heads might end up rolling just by me touching them.

My Oshitari figure refuses to stand up. I can't help but think about those caps where he's leaning against the wall. this is why he has to lean against the wall

At the moment, my DW only has three entries. I mostly only use my DW for commenting on DW entries. Crossposting seems like it would get messy, and I don't have so much to say that I would be saying different things on these two sites. I've been considering importing my fics over to a fic only journal (I love how we can expand cuts on DW without opening a new browser or tab, and I love the tag hierarchy), but only if DW ever implements the import by tags feature! Do you have a DW?

I haven't changed my default icon once. I think it might be because 1) I do rather love this picture of Atobe and 2) It took FOREVER to get all of his hair out of the background. The art style and the quality of the original series made it difficult. ... and 3) It's Atobe. Done.

He's Kami no Ko. He can handle it lol. But still... *pats one coin!Yukimura gently on the head* I'm glad he's okay though. Good news for you!!

I asked her how to do it and she "a small straight tug should do it". But I am still afraid to lol.. for the same reasons you are.

He does lean against a rail once XDD Oshitari and his leaning against the wall has been following me. nerdish wrote a scene in a Yanagi/Sanada fic with one of them being pressed against the wall and that was the first thing I thought of (later I found out she was thinking of me when she wrote it). Also, Baba the Badass... total wall leaner.

No, I do not. I only know two people on DW and you are now one of them. The other person uses it more frequently than LJ so that's why I was curious. But the expanding cuts thing is nice! How coo!

I've had my default icon for years! I'm not sure when I started using it. XD; My icon slots are predominantly fishbones. When I don't use something related to fishbones, I keep mistaking myself for someone else.

Your icon of Atobe is really pretty. :)

At first I thought I broke Yukimura and would need to glue him together, haha. XD But knowing that the heads are supposed to be removable means gluing is out.

One day, I will have even more Tenipuri characters with fishbones! I have three so far. I need to saddle Hiyoshi with one too. XDDD

I buy my PairPuri fanbooks from my local bookstore (Kinokuniya). They also do web orders if you don't have a store close to you. I also bought from yesasia (online) before when my store was super slow.

Have you been able to get the site to work for you? :O

I haven't, and still have absolutely no idea what's wrong. I've had connection problems with my laptop before trying to access a website I needed for school (a lot of other students were having connection problems on that one specific site too) so maybe it's just that. When I get home and can use an actual computer, I'll see if I can get through that way, and then I'll know it's just a connection problem on my side maybe xD;

Haha! Friended for comfort. ;) But yes, I translate and proofread quite a lot of Tenipuri fanbook translations (which I'm now behind on...) and yup, I'm a fan of Ryoma. Fans of Ryoma seem hard to come by at times. :3

I am tempted to put Yukimura's jacket on some of the other figures just to see how they would look. XD; I wonder if Ryoma would be able to wear it...

Phew, I really thought I'd broken the figures. I didn't know they were really made that way! I might take to some silly swapping when I'm less horrified about rolling heads, hehe.
