Kimi to Boku, Prince of Tennis, Akatsuki no Yona

Bought Kimi to Boku v10, Kimi to Boku After School Fanbook, Prince of Tennis Kanzenban season 2 volume 7, PairPuri volume 9, Akatsuki no Yona v6, GFantasy October, and Animedia Oct today.

Kimi to Boku! \o/ So much Kimi to Boku! The fanbook is awesome. It has 60 pages or so of Hotta Kiichi's watercolor illustrations. I already collected a lot of it from various monthly magazines, but it's so much more convenient having them all in one place (now I can finally consider getting rid of all those phonebooks, gosh). It has profiles for the main characters, some sketch galleries, two interviews with Hotta Kiichi, three short manga specials (I think at least one of them was included in GFantasy), and the scripts for two of the original drama CDs I always hoped to have the Shirayuta one translated. It'll be so much easier to do now that there's a script! I was having trouble translating by ear (but I wonder if this will be animated in the anime. If it will be, then maybe I should just leave it).

Bought Animedia Oct since it included a small pamphlet featuring Kimi to Boku. There's some anime info in it, with an interview with the seiyuu for the twins, and there's a short 4-koma manga featuring Matsushita.

Prince of Tennis Kanzenban season 2 volume 7 features Akaya on the cover, with Ryoma on the inside. A lot of times, the cover has a part that's cut out and uses the picture behind it as part of the cover. This time... Akaya and Ryoma share eyes. XD; And then when you pull the manga out from the slip-on cover...you discover that both Akaya and Ryoma's eyes actually come from... Jackal's buttons. LOL. The 3 page manga at the end this time is of Shitenhouji appointing Shiraishi as the captain.

Writing
Bittersweet Sweetness has now reached over 20k! Except Part 14 hasn't actually advanced much (I was already very close to 20k before Part 14). I've been updating the story over at ffnet biweekly... but it looks like I won't be able to do that this week. ): Ah, but I started another LSK fic... OTL. And went back to poke at Entries 4 (seriously, it's been four months since I wrote the start of Entries 4...)

You were already writing five fics at once last month (and last last month), weren't you? XD; At least that's what it seemed like to me since you managed to finish writing everything for springkink and no_true_pair before posting began. =P I'm going, nooooo, time, slow down! I still want to write this and that!!!

The new fic I started is for a prompt from week 1, so I guess won't be posting it until the end of the month. XD; But pft, the end of the month will come soon anyway.

I can't write fast enough, so now my attention is flitting between too many fics, gosh... writing multiple stories at once isn't something I'm capable of though, haha. XD;

Cannot believe it's the middle of October already, aklsdfa;j. I need to plan more for NaNo and decide what to do!! I might end up writing the third part of the story (Tekatme's adventures!), which I sort of started last year, except it wasn't from his POV which made things very hard... and it was once again going to be alternating POVs... from POVs that know too much. Ahhhhhhh, why do I do this.... ;____; If I go with Tekatme's POV with no alternating POV... that'd make writing a mystery so much easier...

Pfft! Jackal once again saves the day from the shadows!! Where would his team be without him? Also, I feel as if how Shiraishi became captain involves some ridiculous amounts of zanyness. Or lack of since the rest of the team is crazier than him in most respects.

Speaking of Kanzenban, someone put up scans from Vol 1 and Vol 3 so I saw what I was looking for. Just wanted to let you know :)

Congrats on Bittersweet Sweetness!!! Such exciting news ^^ Let's see... I FINALLY finished Part 2 - Ch. 14. Yes, the one I started on July 26th x.x I just didn't know how to end it... and then I wanted to make it too complicated... So I kept writing other chapters until the writer's blockage cleared out. P2-Ch.15-17 was started sometime in August and completed by the end of August/early September lol.

And Part 3 - Ch. 1 was finished last night. That's just past the halfway point. *so much to do*

Also, Kimi to Boku... the more I see it on your LJ, the more I need to check out the series! :D

Jackal's buttons save the day! Or... Jackal's buttons are possessed... The previous captain(s?) showed up a bit in the short Shitenhouji manga, though I still don't remember them from Shin Tenipuri.

I saw. XD; I'm very slow with scanning and sharing stuff I scan, so it's good there are other people out there sharing Tenipuri stuff too. I'll eventually get around to translating Konomi-sensei's interviews...one day...

I think you're making a lot more progress than I am! XD; I'm just rejoicing with hitting the 20k mark, which isn't much compared to a lot of other writers. XD; It normally takes me even longer than 2 months to write 20k though, so this is quite a feat for me. :3

Kimi to Boku's a very relaxing series. It always makes me smile~ :) I recommend the drama CDs if you're a fan of Kaida Yuki and Minagawa Junko. XD; They voice twins! The cast for the anime is different though, but I got into the series because of of the seiyuu for the drama CDs.

Oh wow, six years! And you finished each year? :) I attempted once a few years back (I don't even remember which year it was), and finally made a serious attempt last year.

Haha, my intention is to write young adult. Hopefully that's what I end up with. XD;

Yeah, some years with more padding than others, although I'm getting better at pacing myself. I actually finished early the last two I did, but then never wanted to think about those novels again. Actually, I don't remember the plot for any of them except my first (when I planned a ton because I'd never written more than 10K for anything before). This year I've actually had an idea of what I wanted to do for a couple months, so I'm doing a lot of pre-planning (some years I don't do any...) Hopefully that'll lead to a better novel, but when it comes down to it, I'm just trying to get the word count... ^^; November will be a busy month...

Did you finish all of those novels? :3 Even though I reached 50k last year... the end of that novel was nowhere in sight. I sort of planned to continue where I left off, but the premise of last year's was already a disaster, so I'm not sure that's a smart idea, haha... I'm attached to the characters, but the plot... oh the plot...

I find it amazing that you've done this so many times!

Ichiou ne... I always try to wrap up the plot in the last few thousand words, but I've yet to come up with a novel that ends satisfactorily... Most of the time it ends abruptly and doesn't fit with the rest of the novel. Trying really hard to figure out where this one is going ahead of time, but I don't know if I'll make it. (I'm reminded of Kaname: ちゃんとゴールに向かってしゃべれよ！or 書けよっ！in our case...w)

I could never continue a previous novel, though, because I don't even remember my main characters' names, let alone the plot or world I created specifically for that novel...
