Yu Wo is running a contest this month for Legend of Sun Knight.
Reader's Reaction Contest
Write an essay under 8000 characters about your reaction to and thoughts about either volume 8 of LSK or the whole series. Deadline is 12/26, 12 PM noon. There'll be three winners, announced on 1/5 or earlier! First place winner will receive two sets of Yu Wo's novels, a new bundle for Kill No More that will be released during winter, some goodies for LSK and Kill No More that will be released in winter, and a new years card from Yu Wo. 2nd-3rd place receive one less novel set and don't receive goodies for Kill No More. Winners' essays will be printed in a newspaper.
Art Contest
No restriction on topic. Color, black and white, realistic, chibi, etc is all okay. Art must be complete. May only submit one drawing (even for comics). Must be safe for minors. Deadline is 12/31, 12 PM noon. There'll be three winners, 1 first place. (Same prize division as for writing). Winners' art will be printed in a newspaper.
Essays and art are to be posted directly as replies to the threads. So many awesome essays already! *reads some* Oh, oh, I could never write better than that. In fact, I can't even write an essay in Chinese. I want to enter though. (Darn, why does my art suck so much? I can't wriiiiite in Chinese.) For fans that don't speak Chinese but do draw, the art contest is a great opportunity! Yu Wo has answered that fans overseas may enter too. As long as you are reachable by EMS. shipping
