This is what I've
been doing lately. Getting myself caught in a Prince of Tennis:
Form the Strongest Team forums. Roleplaying our original
characters, buying stats, competing in tournaments played by AI in the
Prince of Tennis PS2 games and so forth. My lj has been sadly
neglected because of that.
I finished reading all 18 volumes that are out for Dear Boys: Act II in two days. So in love with that series, but now I have to wait forever for the next volume to come out. (The mangaka has been drawing Dear Boys for 16 years!!) My favorite rival team has got to be Shonandai. Their ace, Ayumi Fuse is so fun to watch. He reminds me of Hiyoshi from Prince of Tennis at times, and even though I don't like Hiyoshi much, I like Ayumi Fuse a lot. XD I was so happy that they won against Mizuho and took the place of championship for tournament qualifying for nationals. Next volume should be their rematch against Mizuho, though I'm pretty sure that our protagonist team will win this time around. =( But, Mizuho is not an infallible team, which is quite refreshing (even though they're getting stronger and stronger...and will most likely become invincible soon). -_-
