LSK fanwork, eee :D

I bought stuff from Icicle, a Taiwanese artist (her blog. She draws a lot of LSK and Vocaloids). The doujinshi and postcards arrived today! :D I'm really happy she was willing to ship overseas! My first LSK merchandise is fanwork. XD



Compared to American prices, her prices were very affordable, so much that it was still very affordable even after shipping, and the printing for the doujinshi was very nice too, man! I wonder how much it costs to print stuff in Taiwan.

She actually has better pics on her site, but I still took pics of my stuff for the sake of taking pics. I'm just really happy to get my hands on some LSK stuff. :3




This is a collaboration between Icicle and another artist, FruiT (I still need to check out FruiT's blog too). I looove how Sun is holding a fan of Judgment (who is holding a fan in the pic) and Judgment is holding a fan of Sun (who is also holding a fan in the pic). Very cool and cute design, though I don't have a use for fans at the moment. XD




I also bought a chibi calendar from her. It's one of those calendars that fit in a CD case. It's so cute. XD; Fruit-themed. I thought by the time I received the shipment, it'd be, I don't know, March or something so that I wouldn't even get to use this first page. XD;

I didn't take any close up pics of the doujinshi, but I already finished reading it. XD; It was 24 pages. Sun gets cursed by Pink with "misfortune", meaning he can't eat sweets. XDDD Judgment asks him how misfortune equates to not being able to eat sweets. It's a cute story (and thankfully tame, haha).

I really wanted to see her first doujinshi. *___* (This is the fourth installment). The first one has Grisia and Lesus switching bodies. I'd have loved to see what might've come out of that. XD

*goes off to order her next doujinshi* She's coming out with another one next month, yay~.


edit: Browsing FruiT's blog now. XD; Ahhh, I missed the deadline for ordering. Her latest doujinshi looks fun (it's based on volume 7 of the novels). But hey, what's this? A kitty version of Judgment for the desktop?? *downloads it* I hope it works. XD

Aaaaaah, calender! Judgement's holding a caaaaake!! Ice baked it I think it's around September where I don't recognise the characters (barring March and April)

XDD Sun can't eat sweets! XDD It does sound really cute.

And aaaaah, the first installment! I'd like to say that no-one noticed, but as soon as 'Lesus' picked up a sword... Yeah. XDD

It is! I think they're wearing bear ears in the mini-fans since the fan is labeled "little bear fan" on her selling page. XD;

You can see a better pic of the calendar here on her blog. XD We haven't seen any mention of a lot of the cold, cruel-hearted faction yet, but I can't wait until they show up more. I can't tell them apart yet. XD; (In fact, Cloud needs to show up too since he's part of the good, warm faction, yet he hasn't appeared much!!) November is Neo and the dark elf he met in his side story. :3 The girl is Pink. XD

It was sort of a Grisia/Lesus doujinshi. XD; It was really cute! Haha, Grisia's face was priceless when he took a bite of cake and went "Disgusting... ;___; ".

LOL. Everyone would be very alarmed if "Lesus" suddenly started dropping his sword. Or if he started being not-punctual. XD If they're trying to keep it a secret, I don't know... what if Leaf tries to give Lesus those overly sweet sweets he makes for Grisia? XD;

XDD When I was looking, I had a little bunny pop up and I could hit it with a hammer and make it follow a carrot.

You can get LSK lolipops, omg.

XD Maybe Cloud's been there the whole time - just no-one's noticed him! (Haha, it's taken me this long to remember FFVII - I wasn't getting any disconnect whatsoever)

Haha, I saw some people asking about how long the lollipop lasted. It seemed like they wanted to buy it but couldn't immediately. XD; But I guess it'd go bad sometime. XDDD

I was thinking of FFVII while I was typing my comment but I didn't think of FFVII Cloud right away, haha.

His red eyes does make him look kind of like a vampire! His character design actually reminds me of Wicked though. :3

Ahhh, I was browsing FruiT's blog just now, and she had this... kitty Lesus desktop mascot thing. OMG, I tried it out and suddenly I had a bunch of cute Lesus clinging to my browser. XD

What's this series? This merchandise looks so cute and sweet and colorful *_*

The merchandise might be a little misleading since they're all in chibi form here. (but so cute!) XD;

It is a Taiwanese light novel series called The Legend of Sun Knight and is currently being adapted into a manhua. It's very quirky and fun, but gets a bit more serious later on. It's about a group of knights who have to uphold a certain image. Many of them are complete opposites of their expected image. The Sun Knight (the main character) is supposed to be graceful and always smiling, but he's actually pretty silly instead of graceful. XD;

The novel's being translated here and the manhua can be found here.

I'm currently very, very addicted to this series. XD;
