TCGs

I joined a new TCG called Reverie that features pretty manga and game illustrations. I haven't been excited about a TCG for quite a while, since two of the three I'm in are run by me (that makes things a bit less...fun). XD; It looks like some of Reverie's deckmakers might have the same tastes in manga as me. <3 The Reverie site is so pretty and well organized. I really, really wish I could figure out PHP better so I can revamp the Colors card pages. The current site is so...clunky. My organization skills clearly suck. Maybe I should ask Colors members again? We have more people now, so maybe someone can direct my hopelessness with PHP.

I got an affiliation email earlier this week that made me go...oops, I really should have asked people to label their subjects or mention something in the email about which TCG they're trying to affiliate with...since I use the same email for [livejournal.com profile] twistserve_tcg and [livejournal.com profile] colors_tcg. I figured it was probably for Colors since Twist Serve already affiliated with that TCG. X3;;

Colors TCG has grown beyond my imagination. We almost have 100 members now, though of course not everyone's active. I don't think it's because Colors is unique or anything, just that I opened Colors at a good time (when many other multifandom character TCGs aren't around anymore), and my helpful mods have been pretty on top of things, keeping the place active. <3 And players have been enthusiastic and are still enthusiastic and passing word on about the TCG! \o/ I like a lot of our players' choices of deck donations (I especially love characters you wouldn't think of finding in a TCG because images of them are hard to come by, as well as characters from new series). I can't believe September is almost over. It means that it's almost time for the next deck release. I have a lot of manual html coding in front of me to do. XD;

Twist Serve TCG, on the other hand, needs to be more active! *flails* I suppose this is what happens when a TCG is already a year and a half old, especially when the TCG only focuses on one series. ^^;; But Twist Serve was super active in the beginning too, though I guess the fandom itself is kind of quiet these days. I'm thinking new members will probably help. If you're a Prince of Tennis fan, you should consider joining us. =P If nothing else, the card list is super helpful for remember who's who and what happens when. XD (I should strive to make it a complete database, haha).

Yes! Potential new members, please join!!

I think you should have another recruitment post for TwistServe~ Are we doing the same as last year with the Halloween and Christmas events? Because I think those were super super fun and may re-spark old member's attentions/catch the attentions of new members.

Plus, they would be right in time to see unveiling of the blinding (?) yellow Rikkai layout! x'D

Love your fanbook translations <3
Recruitment aside, I'm always looking forward to that too!

I still have my old items *laughs*
At least there's plenty of recognizable objects in the fandom~

I talked to a couple of people about joining, and found that one of the reasons people were reluctant to sign up is because they found the whole process sort of confusing. Maybe mention in the recruitment post some members newcomers can turn to for help? Or have a sort of "walkthrough" post on how to set up a table, put cards in, process of trading, etc?

I think I just have one item left x'D And a couple from Valentines.

A guide would probably help loads, especially for newcomers. I think setting up a cardpost would be really daunting. Even now, for me *laughs* I just have cards floating around in their little sections now. Completely gave up on a pretty table.

<3 <3 <3
I advertised on the shintenipuri DevArt group, and I'm really happy to see I've driven one person over here already xDD Was sort of worried art and TCG wouldn't correspond or something.

I tried collecting all the Piyo ones and ended up having a couple unmatched ;u;

Yeah, I think it would help loads. And if you need any help from me, like proofreading or anything, just let me know what I can do!

It's been a while since I drew for TeniPuri, so I took the opportunity this week to squeeze something in! xD
Ahh, I need to tackle my requests list too. Haven't forgotten!

Haha~ Yes! And that makes it all worth it <3

I think a post in the community would be better in case anyone has questions they want to clarify, or spot something that could be added into the post.
I'm going to have to make use of this guide as well |D;;

My life is pretty much driven by art. Got a bunch of sketches half started over the week, but only one of two ever get finished x'D

Colors TCG is really insanely active, I can hardly keep up. I wish it did slow down a little bit but flkjslkfj it has been fun so far. *flails*

Twist Serve, yeah I suppose the fandom is getting a bit quiet, even though there are still so many things coming out. Hopefully it will generate new interests!
