After a year of posting HgHd at ffnet (starting 2/21/04), I have finally finished posting this fic on 2/21/05 (if darn ffnet would let me log on!).  This is the longest fic I've ever written in the shortest time that I've finished.  So, quite a record for me. (grins) This is all thanks to the support that this fic has received at ffnet!  If it weren't for all those reviews that I received around chapter 5 or so, I would not have had the incentive to continue the fic and update as frequently as I did!

Okay, after the thanks comes the questionnaire that I have for you.  Four questions! It'd help me a lot if some of you answer this!  Short answers are fine too.

1. What chapter of Hoshi ga Hoshii desu was your favorite chapter?  There are 45 of them, so which one is your favorite? 
2. What are your two favorite characters from Hoshi ga Hoshii desu?  I'm saying top two because I'm assuming that most of you would pick Hao/Hoshi and I'd like to know who else other than him that you like!  Here are all the characters you can pick from: Tsuki, Sora, Hoshi (the other one), Tsuki's father (though he never appeared!), Hoshisuke, Yoh, Anna, Manta, Ichi-sensei, Cutter, Ren, Horo Horo, Tamao, Yohmei, Keiko, Mikihisa, Kino, Bason, Manta's classmates in cram school, the young man Hoshi met at the Subway, Macchi, Kanna, Lyserg and Morphine, Ryu, Ryu's classmate (the girl he likes), Ryu's gang, Mari, Faust, Eliza, Jeanne, Nichrome, Silva, Kalim, Goldva, Macchi's nameless coworker, the two senior fangirls in the last chapter, and whoever else I managed to forget at the moment...

Okay, now after the questionnaire, I'm sure most of you are wondering about sequels/sidefics and what not.  Well, I don't have a sequel in mind, though I do have some sidestories I might write.  I've already reposted Bason's Greatest Fear here. If I do write more side stories, I will be posting it under the title "Hoshi no Hikari," meaning Star's Light.  Here are possible side stories that I've considered so far: Hao/Hoshi reading his letters of complaint and paying a visit to everybody to convince them of his good intentions, Hoshi trying to ask Macchi to give him a ride back to Funbari Onsens, Sora, Tsuki, and Hoshi in America before coming back to Japan (that missing year...), what happened to Cutter and Ichi-sensei after the fic, and Hoshi chatting with the dead spirits in the Great Spirits.  Requests for side fics is currently open, so feel free to request a HgHd side fic from me! Actually, I'd be even happier if someone wrote a few sidefics for me...

I'm so sad to see this fic end...I feel as if I'm going to lose contact from all of you after this! So please, keep in contact with me...by reading my other fics too! (smiles) From now on, my new fics will always be posted on livejournal first and then ffnet.  Livejournal is much more reliable in that it doesn't crash as often and I can reply to your comments.

1. Ugh, this is hard. I'd have to say the chapter on the train, though; I grinned maliciously for half an hour after Hoshi busted that pervert.

2. Hoshi (Hao), and the young man from the subway.

3. Let's see... it brought me into the world of Hao fandom... it inspired me to change plans for the sequel to my just started Kingdom Hearts crossover... it led to bizarre comparisons of HoroHoro and Ryouga, after Bason's fear was revealed... but, most importantly, the beauty and precision of the story which compelled me to continue reading. I don't know what it is, and hope I never find out, so that I merely seek it to define a "good" story, but it's something few things I've read have, and that's a compliment, trust me.

4. If my schedule can find a time where I'm not swamped to update existing fics, I have a few sidefic ideas of my own. In terms of requests, though, there are only one: They say that your life goes before your eyes the moment before death.... but what if it was your next life, instead? What would the Hao of the final battle, in the moment before he recieved the final attack, think of the Hoshi today? How would the genocidal utopian architect feel, knowing that to become Shaman King would mean becoming a semi-normal, human-loving... well, human?

Wow, thanks for answering with so much detail! I guess you really liked everything that came with the subway scene (from the young man to Hoshi's catching of that pervert). I'm glad since I really liked that scene and the young man too. Thanks for answering the open-ended question #3. It helps me a lot to know your final thoughts on the story! (I'm amazed from what you said)

Ah, do I hear that you might want to write a few sidefics too? :3 (cough) Anyway, your request is wonderful! That idea never crossed my mind, but you put it into words so beautifully. I could already picture Hao having flashes of a life he hasn't even lived yet. Wow...I feel like writing it immediately (no! must study first!).

1.ch30. It's funny!!! 2.Hoshi and Tuski 3. what I like about this story is that EVIL HAO actually changes, and become a nice guy for once. I also like the shock when Hao finds out why he has ammesia, or lost his memory ^_^ 4. yes!! you're the best author EVER!!!

Hao is so coooooool! Hoshi is such a CUTE name!!!But awwwwwww I'm so sad that you're fic is now over! I can't wait to read more of you're work ,though.

1. ermmmmmmmm!chapter 44 was very funny(with the letters and all plus there was Nichrome!!) I loved it, but on the other way there's chapters 21-22 where Manta tells Hoshi abouts his past and he runs away and Sora is sad about discovering that Hoshi is the one who murdered her son and where she hopes that she hadn't found him that day!It made me feel so sad for Hao because he regretted what he had done... I really liked this chapters, I've reread-it like 3 times.^_^

2.In my top 2 I would put Hoshi(of course!) and Nichrome!;) Btw I really liked the young man Hoshi met in the subway usually I don't like created character but this one was very nice and cool(and in my mind he looked very sexy lol! ;p)

3.I thought that it was very well writen and I really loved the idea of Hao running away and feeling sad about what he had done in the past because in the anime he is really portayed as the bad guy... I didn't like the anime's ending nor the manga, so I love the way you turned it out and I like you're ending sooooooo much better! I'm also very happy for Hao to have found friends and a family!^_^

4.OF COURSE!Omg I love the way you write, its funny, clear, and you portray very well the characters! I thought Hao/Hoshi reading the letters of complains sequel would be VERY funny I hope you do-it!(and if you could mention Nichrome in it, it would be perfect!lol just kiding) ;)

Thanks for answering! :D Chapter 44 is one of my favorites too, part of the top 5 chapters that I like myself :3 !! I'm also glad you liked the chapters 21-22 (extremely, extremely glad that you mentioned Sora!).

Yup, so far everyone has loved Hoshi (if not...I guess they wouldn't have been reading HgHd!). Hehe, go Nichrome! LOL, yes...I can imagine that the young man Hoshi met in the subway must be quite sexy. (haha, I shouldn't be saying this!)

:3 Aww, so happy that you liked my ending! This makes me somewhat hesitant to see the real ending to the manga, since the anime ending was already a bit of a disappointment...

hey its me asn water! anyways i wanted to read your comments for the last chapter so here i am! my favorite chapter from the story would have to be um the one where anna met hoshi cause ionno i like her? haha and i also liked the last chapter cause it made me feel kinda sad that it was going to end but happy because hao finally got a sorta normal life. my two favorite characters were hao and macchi! yea i chose macchi cause of her crazy pumpkin dishes! haha i liked that chapter too! i liked hosi ga hoshii desu cause it was original and you wrote it well. also it didnt seem like it was draging on eventhough it was 40 something chapters. acctually i kinda want it to be longer! id like to see a sequel and a side story! haha wow i really must like hoshi ga hoshii desu! cant wait for the next story you writ! oh and good job! ^-^

Thank you for coming here and reading my comments for the last chapter! :3 I'm glad you didn't feel that HgHd was dragging on (phew!) and even better that you wanted it longer! I could have made the fic a lot longer, but I felt that I already covered enough that I could finally introduce the ending that I had in mind. And I finished in one year, which was one of my goals...(my first goal was finishing in the year 2004, but since that wasn't possible, I went for the one year mark instead). I hope you stick around then, since I will be writing more SK stories, including side stories to HgHd. Thanks again! (Yay, you like kabocha-crazy!Macchi!)

1.) ....Hm.... That's a hard question. I think that I liked all of them quite a bit. Although chapters 12 and 13 were pretty funny.

2.) My favorite character is Hoshi/Hao-sama! I also liked Sora though. And Cutter. It's funny how he gets so confused about Yoh and Hoshi/Hao.

3.) What I like about Hoshi ga Hoshii desu is..EVERYTHING!!! Well, I really like the fact that Hoshi/Hao become Shaman King. There are too many fics where Yoh is the Shaman King.

4.) Yeah, I think that a sidestory would be very nice. Especially more about Bason and his fear of kitties. ^^ It'd be nice if you updated your other fics though. I can't wait to read the next chapter of Twin Stars!

But anyway, I'm so happy you like chapters 12 and 13. Those were the chapters that I had the most fun writing. :D And yay for Sora! I found out recently that I miss writing about her. Hence some side fics I plan on writing...I miss her! And Cutter too. :) And yup, I'm working hard on Twin Stars, though I haven't really worked on Bason's Greatest Fear much lately...

1- I don't know the chapter number, but it's basically when everyone finds out that Hoshi is actually Hao. I was waiting for it forever and then they finally found out!! ^_^

2- My two favorite characters have to be Hoshi and Ren. There wasn't too much of ren, but what there was was good. I liked the whole cat part, that was great.

3- I like tons of things from HgHd, it's really suspenseful. Thats what really kept me going, at the end of every chapter i always had to know what would happen next.

4- i would LOVE to see a sequel and/or side stories!! If you put some up i will definitely read them ^____^

Gawd, that's hard. I think i like Chapter 6: Cram School, when Hoshi/Hao first goes the Cram School. And Chapter 12: Convenient Store. That had me laughing in my sleep! Poor, poor Cutter...

What are your two favorite characters from Hoshi ga Hoshii desu?
Yes... I suppose I'd better pick Hoshi/Hao... he is the main character after all. I loved Hoshisuke, so he's my number two. But to be honest, I love all the characters! Don't you just hate it when people say that?

What do you like about Hoshi ga Hoshii desu?
What an evil question. Lets see... I loved it when people kept mistaking Hoshi/Hao for Yoh and Yoh for Hoshi/Hao... I've always wanted a twin, and for people to mistake me. But it'll never happen, because I'm very different. Even my name's different. Although once, someone thought that me and my best friend were twins... that was so funny... but she got her hair cut, and we no longer look similar. Ok, now I'm rambling... sorry about that! -bows-

That would be wonderful! But I noticed you have already written a prequel, or started writing a prequel. I'll be sure to read it. Some sequels sound good, too!

Wow!! That's all I can say.

Questionnaire:
1) Wah!? What an evil question. You actually want me to chose? Uh, I guess the first couple were really good. I loved the way Hoshi/Hao couldn't remember anything, but memories kept coming from nowhere. "Spirit of- Spirit of what?" or something like that. Lol. Cram School was hilarious and you nearly made me cry when Hoshi ran away. That was so sad.

2) Oh boy. I have to pick two? Well, I'm going to have to say Hoshi/Hao, obviously. My second favourite was Macchi. She cracked me up the way she was so hyper and knew that Hoshi could and would read her thoughts. Lol, she was excellent. Mari was cool too. Oh, and Tsuki and Sora.

3) Everything! It's a Hao-centred fic, it's long, it has an original plot, you introduced OCs without making them Mary-Sues...just everything about it was so brilliant!

4) YES!! I have yet to check your profile to see if you've done any sequels, but after posting this I will go and dutifully read them. It would be cool to see Hao/Hoshi visiting all the people who send in complaints...I can see that being really funny!

Thanks for answering this even though I posted this such a long time ago! Do you think people will still want to read side stories? It's been a while since the last time I wrote anything for this story. I've only written two prequels, Hoshi no Hikari and First Meeting. I have other ideas, but well, this is a dying fic universe. Most of the old readers have moved on, since I haven't been writing much lately.

I think some people will still read it. Some new people will probably discover this story. Take me, for example. I just saw First Meeting yestersay, then found Hoshi ga Hoshii desu. After that, I just sat in front of the computer for an hour reading your story. :P
