lucathiaYuuta is a lot nicer than Hiyoshi. Way nicer. Except he sounds so flippant here! Playing Yuuta's path meant running into Fuji a lot. :3
My character ran into Hiyoshi in this play through, and he cracked me up again. He was investigating the number of steps in the stairs and how the number didn't always match up. He totally scared the heck out of my character. XD; I guess he'll always be at his horror investigations in this game.
I chose to go with St. Rudolph this time. They sadly only have 3 players, plus Yanagisawa who you can't speak with. He just adds his helpful commentary with lots of "dane's" from time to time. XD; Mizuki mentions that they're here only because Midoriyama pulled out. Ahahaha....
Since there were only three characters, it was really easy to get two of their affection really high, except sometimes you have to speak with at least two people to advance the day, but there are only 3 to choose from! And if you talk with someone in the same room as another character, that drops that other character's affection. >__> I kept dropping someone's affection rate because of that.
Mizuki suggests a tea shop for their attraction. Since there are only three of them, they decide to focus completely on the tea shop instead of having two attractions. They decide on serving red tea. When someone suggests lemon tea, Mizuki strongly claims that lemon tea IS EVIL. So everyone backs off from that idea. Later on, Mizuki teaches everyone how to prepare the tea (everyone's impressed) and you teach everyone how to bake cakes and cookies. Mizuki asks them to compare his brewing and Yuuta's (which was from a tea bag). Mizuki's tea of course tasted way better. During the baking lesson, one of the seniors mentions that they don't have to worry about leftovers at all. Yuuta ate all of them. You wonder where Yuuta puts all that he eats.
My character got close to Akazawa surprisingly quickly. Here he's practicing that fuzzy ball move of his. (I will always call it fuzzy ball, haha). The heroine is surprisingly able to see the fuzzy balls. Akazawa is impressed and says she must be very athletic. If she were a guy, he would totally scout her for the tennis team. (Thanks...)
In some other conversation, Akazawa talks about being the captain and why Mizuki's not the captain. Akazawa did offer Mizuki the position of captain, but Mizuki turned the position down. Akazawa appreciates Mizuki and what he did for the team. Even though Akazawa's going to step down from the position of captain after this festival, both he and Mizuki are still looking after the team. Both Yuuta and Kaneda are possible future captains. Akazawa thinks that Yuuta has the skill for it, but Kaneda also recently demonstrated his potential as a captain.
I forgot what else I talked with him about...oh right, there was his tan. XD; He mentions that it's completely natural, but you even make him roll up his sleeves to prove it. .___.;; Akazawa tried to give my character his phone number twice, but I declined every time, hahaha. Poor guy...
In this scene, you ask Mizuki to let you learn how to brew tea by watching him. Afterward, he invites you to have tea with him, and they talk about the future of St. Rudolph.
Mizuki leads the historical Sengoku era play with Sanada, Hiyoshi, Dan, Akazawa, etc. I didn't know that after you bring up the special topic, you activate a continuation of the scene that brought up the special topic. I was able to see them practice for the play twice this time. ;3 (More Hiyoshi, hehe) Mizuki explains the play in a lot of detail, but that kind of went over my head.
Hm, I also talked with him about the dorms. My character says it must be lively, but Mizuki thinks there's a lack of privacy.
Yuuta. I bet I'm missing pics of him. >__> I didn't get any from the everyday conversations! Anyway, I didn't manage to max Yuuta's affection because I kept dropping it when I talked to someone else in the same room. Since there were only three characters, I actually ran out of things to speak about with him!! I had to reload because of that (I kept choosing things that docked affection...apparently Yuuta does not like talking about homework because he hasn't done his yet, and he doesn't like talking about music because that makes him think about the classical music that Mizuki will probably choose for their tea shop and that's totally going to make him fall asleep). Ahahahaha. I also talked about his older sister (who apparently, everyone in the dorms was gossiping about).
When everyone was deciding what to join for the interschool performances, Yuuta ends up joining Atobe's Hamlet. Mizuki wonders why Yuuta wants to join Atobe's play instead of his. Yuuta hurriedly makes up the excuse that he likes Hamlet. (Yeah right)
When you see Yuuta practicing Hamlet with Atobe and the others, Yuuta admits that he doesn't know a thing about Hamlet. The script that Atobe gives him is the first he's seen of Hamlet, and Atobe tells him he better read it thoroughly. You ask Yuuta (you call him Fuji-kun) why he joined Atobe's play if he doesn't know about Hamlet at all. He answers that he thought it would be nice once in a while to not be influenced by Mizuki, but then, the crowd he's with now is pretty influential too. (Atobe, Yagyuu, Tezuka, Oishi, Inui...) Tezuka is assigned the role of Hamlet, Atobe's the father, Oishi is the mother, Inui is some evil guy...I don't remember all the names... XD;; Yagyuu is Horatio, friend of Hamlet. Yuuta is...Laertes, I think. When they ask who's going to be Ophelia, Atobe just says he already has something planned. (I guess I will have to play Ryoma's path to find out!!)
Yuuta's path is not complete without mention of him being Fuji's little brother. :'D You see some random Seigaku person call Yuuta that, and Yuuta bristles. You ask Yanagisawa about it later, and he tells you about Yuuta and his brother complex.
Later on, I ran into Fuji (literally, with papers flying everywhere). Oh what a fun experience that was. XD; You mention to him that he seems similar to someone you know. Fuji brightens and asks her if she knows Fuji Yuuta. You answer yes, and then Yuuta appears, the hot topic of discussion. XD Fuji immediately teases Yuuta, mentioning the heroine as "Yuuta's girlfriend", which Yuuta denies. Fuji asks if Yuuta's being helpful, and you answer yes. Fuji says that's surprising and must be because of the girl. Yuuta tries to make Fuji go away. Fuji finally agrees to do that, telling them that this obstacle (he's referring to himself) will now leave. You comment that Fuji-san really dotes on Fuji-kun...
After some more time passes, you almost faint outside, but Fuji appears and tells you to rest because your color looks bad. He stops whatever he was supposed to be doing and offers to chat with you. You end up talking a lot about Yuuta. You mention that Yuuta's cute, and Fuji entirely agrees. You tell Fuji-san that you would never say it to Yuuta's face because he would be indignant about it. Fuji answers that Yuuta's frustration is cute too. Kikumaru appears and whines that Fuji's skipping out on his duties and Tezuka's totally going to be mad! He sees the girl and goes, "Fuji, you're hitting on her?" Fuji denies it and says that she's part of St. Rudolph and very close with Yuuta. Fuji tells you to rest some more and delegate your duties to someone else, such as the person that's running over this way right now. When Yuuta reaches the scene, Fuji tells him that he should take care of her more. Yuuta notices that your color is bad, but you say you're all right now. Kikumaru butts in and wonders what's this "Fuji-san, Fuji-kun" business and whether "Fuji-kun" refers to Yuuta. He says it's way too many Fuji's and way too confusing. Fuji comments that she should just call his little brother Yuuta, and that would solve everything.
When Fuji and Kikumaru leave, you turn to "Fuji-kun" and he tells you that it's all right for you to call him Yuuta. You wonder if it's really all right. She thought only the guys got to call him that. He answers that it's all right because it's you. So, you start calling him Yuuta-kun~.
BEFORE all that (totally going out of order here), he already asked you out on a date to the movies. You go and watch an action SFX movie, and then you have lunch together. He orders a pumpkin curry dish, but it ends up being too spicy for him. You wonder why he ordered it then. He answers that he thought it would be sweeter with the pumpkin and that he likes pumpkin curry even though it's pretty rare. You discover that he really likes sweet things (he likes them way too much).
One day, he asks you to try the tea he brewed. You drink it...and BLEH. It's way too sweet! You tell him that the tea loses it's flavor when it's too sweet, and they should be leaving it up to the customer to decide the sweetness.
I guess you have to get their affection level maxed out for them to call your first name. Yuuta was on the verge of doing that. He was going, "People usually call you by your first name, right? But most of them are girls?" He stopped before he actually called my character by her first name. I never did get his affection maxed out. =/
The day before preparations is over, Yuuta calls for a date. NOT. He calls for help with homework because he hasn't finished yet! (With Yagyuu, they went out again. Of course he finished his homework early. Hiyoshi did too, haha. Gosh, Yuuta...) You meet Yuuta in the library. He tells you he has to research some phenomenon for science. He hasn't started yet at all. You ask him what he's curious about and doesn't understand. He goes, "Why does Yanagisawa-senpai say dane all the time?" You agree that it's pretty mysterious but probably not a good research topic. Yuuta then wonders why his twist spin shot drops down after flying up. You think that's a pretty good topic (LOL, are they trying to understand Tenipuri tennis? Don't, they break the laws of physics!). You help him find books about ball spin. You find something related to baseball, but you think it'll help in his report. (I'm totally thinking of Oofuri here...)
After their grueling homework session, you go to the park for lunch. You brought homemade bento and even dessert--strawberries! Yuuta LOVES the strawberries.
The day after is the swimming event. I only have two new pics from that~. My character of course cheered for Yuuta...but he won not because of her cheer. XD; Kentarou was going, "Oh, and here someone cheered for Fuji's little brother! Eh, Fuji's little brother is screaming something! What could he be screaming about?"
Kabaji answers. "I'm not Fuji's little brother..."
So I guess Kentarou was the one who spurred Yuuta to win, hahahaha.
Yuuta wins. Poor Yanagisawa drinks Inui's Iwashi mizu.
Finally, it's the day of the school festival! I played Rikkai's Smash de Bingo hoping for some new pics, but Kirihara still gave me the same one of Atobe and Oshitari. I guess that's all he has...
I visited Hyoutei's cafe since I helped with that last time. It's nice to be a customer instead. XD; I actually took a screenshot of this by reloading my game. There's lots of funny and cool scenes throughout the play through that I miss because I play this on my DS instead of on the computer and have no screencapping capability there. x__x
But here's Ootori in his suit. My character is amazed that there are over 50 people waiting in line, all of them girls. Ootori is extremely polite, but you decide this is probably too much for you. (Taki in the background!!)
After that, the plays and performances begin. I only have one new pic for Hamlet!
Here's Yuuta as Leartes. Of course Hamlet won the competition. Before the winner was announced, you go around with Yuuta. I visited Jirou at Hyoutei's place. Jirou's completely sleepy even when Yuuta talks with him. Apparently Jirou doesn't remember Yuuta, but when Yuuta says his name is Fuji Yuuta, Jirou wakes up a bit and goes, "Fuji? The same name as the guy with the awesome counters??" Yuuta grumbles that Jirou remembers his brother but not him.
Ahaha, out of order again, but before the festival started, there was an earthquake. The earthquake wasn't large, but it destroyed all of the teacups in St. Rudolph's teashop. Mizuki's frustrated, but he thinks it's a good thing this happened before actual customers came or else people would have gotten hurt. You go to Atobe to ask if there are any shops that can replace your teacups. He gives you a list. You go over the list with the rest of St. Rudoolph. None of them are able to replace your stuff until Akazawa finally finds a shop that can. Problem is, they're in Nagano and you have to get there and back in 4 hours! Leaving you 1 hour before the festival grounds close...
You go to Atobe to borrow a car, but he lends you a helicopter instead. LOL. (Because traffic congestion is bad after the earthquake, there's no way you can get to Nagano on time by car) Mizuki goes, "That Atobe-kun..." They don't think Atobe can get permission to deploy a helicopter, but right after you hear the sound of the helicopter...
Anyway, St. Rudolph's teashop was saved through everyone's effort. And by helicopter. XD;
On the last day, St. Rudolph wonders if their teashop can win. You suggest to have take home options too, and somehow lemon tea comes up again! Mizuki still claims fiercely that lemon tea is EVIL, but you counter that saying that Mizuki was the one who said they should leave it up to the customer's tastes. Mizuki says you have a point.
After that, you go around the festival with Yuuta. You end up outside a cafe and realize it's Seigaku's. Fuji appears and is very happy to see Yuuta and you. He invites you in.
Inside, Yuuta looks at the menu and blanches. They're all spicy and weird dishes. He complains that it's all stuff that his Aniki likes. He asks if there are any normal dishes. Fuji says they do have tea, so Yuuta and you both order that. (Why tea when you already have tea at your own teashop??) Fuji's a touch sad because he wanted to cook for Yuuta. Yuuta goes whatever.
When Fuji comes back, he asks Yuuta if he wants him to put in 5 bags of sugar for him. Yuuta exclaims that he can do it himself. Fuji then tells you that Yuuta always uses 5 bags of sugar. He also goes on to say that Yuuta always eats the strawberry on his cake first. You find it amusing, but Yuuta tries to stop Fuji from saying so much, and he claims he eats the strawberries first or else his Aniki or older sister would eat it before him. Fuji mentions that you really want to hear about Yuuta. Yuuta answers that he would rather she find out herself. :3
After all that, Atobe announces that St. Rudolph's teashop won the competition! Whoot! Everyone appears with smiling faces...
At the dance, Kikumaru spots that you're all alone. He offers to dance with you since Yuuta is nowhere in sight. Yuuta comes and drags you away. Fuji comes after that and admonishes Kikumaru, saying something like, "Didn't I already tell you about Yuuta and her?"
Away from the dance, you comment about Yuuta's older brother. Yuuta's a bit surprised because it's kind of refreshing hearing his Aniki referred to as his older brother for once, instead of him as Fuji's little brother. You tell him that you kind of envy him and his siblings because you're an only child. You talk some more before Yuuta says that he strayed from his original topic. He then confesses that he would like you to watch after him even after the festival. Right after, he elaborates and says that he means that he likes you. You answer that you like him too.
...what a sweet couple. XD;
After the credits roll, it's Valentine's day! You give Yuuta chocolate and say that it's not "giri" chocolate. Meaning it's not out of obligation or friendship. (Well, it's actually a cake). He notices that you have a huge bag with you. He goes, "Don't tell me you have chocolate for Mizuki too?" You answer that you do because Mizuki helped you a lot. You even hand Yuuta chocolate for his older brother and tell him to give it to Fuji-san when he goes home later.
Yuuta is surprised and asks you how you even knew he was going home. You answer that Fuji sent a text to you saying that he was expecting chocolate. Yuuta sighs and says that Fuji already gets enough chocolate. Why does he want hers? You answer that Fuji said he wanted chocolate from his cute sister-in-law. It's one of a kind.

Mizuki's frustrated, but he thinks it's a good thing this happened before actual customers came or else people would have gotten hurt. You go to Atobe to ask if there are any shops that can replace your teacups. He gives you a list. You go over the list with the rest of St. Rudoolph. None of them are able to replace your stuff until Akazawa finally finds a shop that can. Problem is, they're in Nagano and you have to get there and back in 4 hours! Leaving you 1 hour before the festival grounds close...
You go to Atobe to borrow a car, but he lends you a helicopter instead. LOL. (Because traffic congestion is bad after the earthquake, there's no way you can get to Nagano on time by car) Mizuki goes, "That Atobe-kun..." They don't think Atobe can get permission to deploy a helicopter, but right after you hear the sound of the helicopter...
Anyway, St. Rudolph's teashop was saved through everyone's effort. And by helicopter. XD;
On the last day, St. Rudolph wonders if their teashop can win. You suggest to have take home options too, and somehow lemon tea comes up again! Mizuki still claims fiercely that lemon tea is EVIL, but you counter that saying that Mizuki was the one who said they should leave it up to the customer's tastes. Mizuki says you have a point.
After that, you go around the festival with Yuuta. You end up outside a cafe and realize it's Seigaku's. Fuji appears and is very happy to see Yuuta and you. He invites you in.
Inside, Yuuta looks at the menu and blanches. They're all spicy and weird dishes. He complains that it's all stuff that his Aniki likes. He asks if there are any normal dishes. Fuji says they do have tea, so Yuuta and you both order that. (Why tea when you already have tea at your own teashop??) Fuji's a touch sad because he wanted to cook for Yuuta. Yuuta goes whatever.
When Fuji comes back, he asks Yuuta if he wants him to put in 5 bags of sugar for him. Yuuta exclaims that he can do it himself. Fuji then tells you that Yuuta always uses 5 bags of sugar. He also goes on to say that Yuuta always eats the strawberry on his cake first. You find it amusing, but Yuuta tries to stop Fuji from saying so much, and he claims he eats the strawberries first or else his Aniki or older sister would eat it before him. Fuji mentions that you really want to hear about Yuuta. Yuuta answers that he would rather she find out herself. :3
After all that, Atobe announces that St. Rudolph's teashop won the competition! Whoot! Everyone appears with smiling faces...
At the dance, Kikumaru spots that you're all alone. He offers to dance with you since Yuuta is nowhere in sight. Yuuta comes and drags you away. Fuji comes after that and admonishes Kikumaru, saying something like, "Didn't I already tell you about Yuuta and her?"
Away from the dance, you comment about Yuuta's older brother. Yuuta's a bit surprised because it's kind of refreshing hearing his Aniki referred to as his older brother for once, instead of him as Fuji's little brother. You tell him that you kind of envy him and his siblings because you're an only child. You talk some more before Yuuta says that he strayed from his original topic. He then confesses that he would like you to watch after him even after the festival. Right after, he elaborates and says that he means that he likes you. You answer that you like him too.
...what a sweet couple. XD;
After the credits roll, it's Valentine's day! You give Yuuta chocolate and say that it's not "giri" chocolate. Meaning it's not out of obligation or friendship. (Well, it's actually a cake). He notices that you have a huge bag with you. He goes, "Don't tell me you have chocolate for Mizuki too?" You answer that you do because Mizuki helped you a lot. You even hand Yuuta chocolate for his older brother and tell him to give it to Fuji-san when he goes home later.
Yuuta is surprised and asks you how you even knew he was going home. You answer that Fuji sent a text to you saying that he was expecting chocolate. Yuuta sighs and says that Fuji already gets enough chocolate. Why does he want hers? You answer that Fuji said he wanted chocolate from his cute sister-in-law. It's one of a kind.
Hahaha. Fuji meddles too much. XD
...dang, that was long. It was cute!

I wonder if Ryoma's path will enlighten me on that, hehe.
It's too bad I wasn't able to screencap during the whole thing! Fuji showed up a lot even though there weren't any gallery pics for that. He teased a lot. XD

To have a date with the guy, you have to have his phone number before the Sunday you're off. You can get his phone number by talking with him a lot and raising his affection...usually he gives you his phone number before his affection is half full. When he asks you if you wouldn't mind taking his phone number, you have to pick the first option to accept it. Then, the night before your day off, he should call you and ask you out.
I can give you a list of what you can talk about with them...when I get near the end of Echizen's path that I'm playing right now and have more options to talk about. Right now, there are only 5 options we can talk about. XD;;

There's not a lot that Yuuta likes to talk about. Makes me sad! =/ I accidentally dropped his affection more than once when I talked with someone else in the same place...I reloaded and noticed that his affection dropped by a lot just from that. Guess I'll have that problem with Fudoumine, Yamabuki, and Rokkaku too...

It's a fun game! Do you have a DS? You could also play it on your computer through an emulator. I'll be playing at least one character from each school. I've never completely finished a game like this before. XD All of Seigaku is available, most of Rikkai (minus Jackal), most of Hyoutei (minus Kabaji)...then there's Tachibana, Shinji, and Kamio for Fudoumine, Yuuta, Mizuki, Akazawa for St. Rudolph, Dan, Akutsu, Sengoku for Yamabuki, and Saeki, Kurobane, and Dabide for Rokkaku. This DS version also has Chitose, Kintarou, and Shiraishi who are divided among the schools (there's no Shitenhouji path). Kintarou's at Seigaku, Shiraishi's at Yamabuki, and Chitose's at Fudoumine. I don't know why Shiraishi's at Yamabuki. XD
