Laser Beam!!!!! I mean "Undine"
Yagyuu's mini album. ♥ (Preview here thanks to
naily_n.) My favorite track is still the Laser Beam track. XDD Because hearing "la~ser beam la~ser beam" in the background is too funny. With Yagyuu's album and the Fuji/Taka duet (and this week's rajipuri), I have more stuff to listen to when I make decks for
twistserve_tcg. I think I need to make some Chinapuri decks, haha. List is getting long.
Dissidia
I bought Dissidia recently and have only played through 2 paths so far (Cloud and Cecil's paths because they were "1 star difficulty" and I thought I'd have a hard time). Their lines make me laugh sometimes. I'm still trying to think of why. XDD Cecil felt so slow after I was using Cloud all that time. I'm playing Terra's path now. I love Terra's theme music. ♥ Her path has a lot more stars for the difficulty, but I'm having a much easier time. I don't know if it's because I'm more used to the fighting now (probably) or because she's long range so I don't get hit as much. Probably it's because of both! Having all these characters together and interacting like they're friends feels a bit strange, especially since they keep wondering such profound questions during their paths, but there isn't much background for those questions. The bad guys so far have been more like guides. They're so helpful, haha. Except, uh, Kefka. I hate clowns. The game has felt a bit pointless so far, but I love the music (it's so nostalgic) and the battle system is pretty cool. I'm terrible with fighting games though, so I don't know how far I'll get with it.
Fics
...must work on
drive_a today, yes. Will be writing Inui, if I can figure him out. I prodded Memories of the Future a bit yesterday, but Namiki is making things difficult. It's Christmas in the fic...I was hoping to finish that part before Christmas!!

Date: 2010-01-06 01:08 am (UTC)... The stars don't really mean anything, seriously XD Once you're used to the game style and have near-perfected your timing for blocks and dodges, it doesn't matter what star rating the chapter you're playing has. :D When I first played Dissidia, I played through Cloud's chapter, like, four times and then happily skipped off to Squall's. XD

I haven't started on those games yet. My DS is getting a rest now, as I've only been playing that instead of my other systems. I'll for sure talk about the games when I get to them.

Date: 2010-01-07 04:08 am (UTC)Um, let's see. My games:
Final Fantasy in Itadaki Street Portable
Wild Arms XF
La Corda d'Oro PSP version
Dissidia
...actually, I think that's all I have! Don't know why I thought I had a fifth game. If I had one, I sure didn't play it. I wanted to get Suikoden I+II, but I'm still hoping they'll have an English version.
I'm thinking of getting Half Minute Hero. It looks amusing.
