What are you favorite OP and Eds? and why?
Don't go past top 5, and say a few words why? (lol, I saw "10" on ycysusan's post.) Um, I will go somewhere in between.

Bokurano OP - Uninstall

I heard this song at AX when Ishikawa Chiaki sang it at her concert (where she joked that the chorus of "Uninstall, uninstall" sounded like anisong, for anime song). It's a very haunting song and stuck in my mind for a very long time. When I finally got around to actually watching Bokurano, I loved the scenes of each of the kids. They're such poignant scenes. This show still makes me cry.

Kono Minikuku mo Utsukushii Sekai OP

I've never finished watching this series, but I LOVED the opening. I love the tune of the song and how well the images fit the beat. The lyrics were very fitting too! Gotta love all the butterfly imagery to symbolize the beauty and ugly sides of life. I was ecstatic to find this song at karaoke.

Overdrive OP

I love the switching between the girl and guy singers. This song is so upbeat! The camera angle (lol, camera angle? Not too sure what else to call it) fits the way they're singing. When it's the girl singer, the scenes are calmer (blue skies, slow panning). When it's the rapper, the camera blurs in and out quickly. I love the zooming in on the road at the beginning and the rush of bikers at the end.

Hikaru no Go OP2 - I'll be the one

What I like about this opening is that it shows us everyday scenes (and they're beautifully animated). From Hikaru at the train station, to meeting Waya at the streets, to Ochi's car ride...it doesn't hurt that I love the song too! I also adore the first ending song (it's set as my alarm, so I hear it every morning, haha), but the video for that isn't all that exciting.

Prince of Tennis OP8 - Dream Believer

When this opening came out, I replayed it over and over and over again. My second favorite is Fly High (which I replayed a lot too) but this one tops them all! I loved how it follows Ryoma and shows us a little bit of all the other regulars as he passes by. The panning at the "Wake up, stand up" part is very cool~. And the ending where Ryoma saunters? Just perfect.

Tantei Gakuen Q OP1 - Mei Q! Meikyuu Make You

The beat and images fit so well in this one! It's very colorful too. I like how they flash each character in tune with the chorus. I also love the play on words for the song itself!

Busou Renkin OP

I liked this opening so much that I went on Nicodouga to look up parodies of it (and man, were there parodies!) I think I just love high tension songs like this. XD; I like how the kurogane is used to frame certain scenes, and how the scenes cut to the next in tune with the beat. This song lifts me up. ♥

I fail at my explanations. There are still plenty of others I enjoy, but I'll stop myself here. XD; These are the ones that I put on replay a lot. ♥

I like alot of Hikaru no Go OP and ED songs actually. My favorite one was Fantasy (or something).

The third opening was Fantasy! When it first came out, I thought the song was too bubbly and didn't fit with Hikago (and the fansubbers put flashing words at "Baby for you" and "It's Fantasy" for the karaoke that made it feel like a shoujo, haha). I like the video with Hikaru growing up, but I remember I thought some other song would have fit better. I even...replaced the OP with other songs, uh...like The Starry Sky by HAL (Angelic Layer ED). But the OP is very pretty and memorable. *____*

I had a good laugh when Music is My Thing (the 5th ED) came on. I loved the song and the footage, but it was so upbeat and fast paced for an ending! But yeah, I love Hikago OP and EDs a lot. :)

I love music is my thing (I actually like most of anime OP and ED that Dream does).

Ah HnG brings back old memories. Too bad the anime suddenly ends abruptly and Sai disappears T__T. But I find it cool that they were able to show Hikaru suddenly grow up slowly (I could hardly tell unless I compare the height)

Hikaru grows up gradually...I didn't notice it all that much until they compared it in the 3rd OP. XD;

OH RIGHT. KINKY. THE KUROSHITSUJI MUSICAL DVD IS OUT. If you google Strawberry Wine torrents, it's up on torrent at the moment. SO PRETTY. It's over 2 hours long. Ciel has such cool outfits, seriously!

The ending song was great too. :) It's quite a contrast with the OP.

I enjoyed the manga too~. I found it refreshing (both Kazuki and Tokiko were strong leads, side characters like Gouta and the twins were very interesting for me, and Papillon was one unique villain), though I got the feeling that a lot of readers thought the series was unoriginal. I liked it though.

I was considering listing the Bokurano OP just for the song..

Too bad the special "Get Over Remix" isn't considered an OP or ED. OTL That's my favorite Hikaru no Go song, followed by "Music Is My Thing", then "sincerely" (I think that's what it was called?). I also remember when I was watching the show, I gradually was actually able to follow the moves that they were making, and have it make sense. XD;
