When people state what the pairing is in Reborn, I always mistake it for the word count. >_>
Guess who's heeeeere in Reborn 231. XD; Well, I like Basil a lot too, but I wonder what his young self can do better than his old self. Since he appeared though, I had a feeling Dino would too. I was right. XD;; Makes it all better that it's TYL!Dino. I don't care much about the battles or training and thought that this chapter was nice, since it gave us a glimpse of these characters' futures. Strange and a bit eerie that nothing has changed. Ryohei seems to be doing well though. XDD
BAKUMAN 27 IS SO ADORABLE!! Now I can't wait for how they trick Hattori. Or for what they'll come up with!
Does anyone read Morinagawa Ai's works? I never finished Boku to Kanojo no xxx, but I remember that it was quite a crazy manga. I started reading Gokuraku Seishun Hockey Club by her, which is about a girl who loves sleeping and eating over everything else (she studied extra hard to get into the high school closest to where she lives so that she can sleep an extra few minutes). She suddenly gets forced to join the boy's hockey club and ends up being surrounded by five boys--the leader, the two siblings/twins, the megane who disproves of her, and the feminine looking bishounen. This reverse harem situation is pretty similar to Ouran High School Host Club where the poor girl is surrounded by all these rich bishounen in a club. I still find it pretty amusing though, since these guys are just so hopeless and don't know how to do anything. This mangaka always has the craziest scenarios.
When I reached the latest scanlations of that, I went off to find her other works and came across Yamada Tarou Monogatari. Has anyone watched the drama version? How is it? I read up to volume 7 and found it amusing how both girls and guys like Yamada so much. I can see why since he appears to know how to do everything and is just so nice and enthusiastic (especially when you give him food). I don't see how people haven't found out that he's crazy about money though (and dirt poor)! His siblings are quite cute. I was snickering a lot during the chapter where they tried to trick people to give them lottery tickets (with their cuteness).

Date: 2009-03-01 07:15 am (UTC)KtB is tedious to edit because there's a bunch of text everywhere but its not hard.
Komatta is just so hard to edit =.=;;; I spend at least 10 - 15 minutes a page (sometimes even longer)... when it should only be 5 minutes tops regularly...
Hard to describe Komatta... After losing all of his family members, except for a father working abroad, Fujishima Takara begins living in a dorm at his new high school. Unfortunately, he and his roommate, Hosaka Kiyomine, get off to a rocky start. Despite all their arguing and fighting, the two soon take steps towards friendship. They become so close that others can't imagine Fujishima without Hosaka. What can arise when the two look deeper at themselves, their circle of friends, and their relationship? This is our summary... though its pretty much about school life slice of life stuff~ (but more gayer than KtB) kekeke... but its not very gay at all T__T

Date: 2009-03-01 07:21 am (UTC)There is a lot of small text everywhere...when I translate, I always have a hard time including it in the same formatting.
That's a lot of time per page. 0__0
Hm, sounds like something I might enjoy. :3
