I've taken on a new hobby! It is kind of relaxing. Poke, poke, poke, poke...

Still, it takes far too long just to make one thing. This took me the entire day! It's actually very tiny, coming out to around an inch and a half. I think I went blind from this, and my hands were shaking by the end since the details were so tiny. I couldn't add a mouth without making it look like a mustache. XD; Hm~, I think I need to make his tail thicker. This was my third piece! I made a random cat for my first one, and a flat fishbones for my second one. :3 I have not watched Madoka yet... but Kyuubey is cute, though he makes me very wary. XD I want to try Nyanko-sensei next, but I don't have gray wool, boo...

I sent Gulliver (the 5th) out yesterday. Hopefully he is now having a safe journey to his new home. ♥ Three years after the year I cosplayed Eureka seveN, I'm still making Gullivers. XD; I have all these cut out pieces of Gulliver in my drawer (since I was planning on making 7 of him) but now the remaining pieces don't seem to match up. Poor thing.
Kaichou wa Maid-sama chapter 32 is quite cute. :D The previous chapter was great fun too. I prefer Misaki over Hikari from Special A. She is...not as oblivious.

I'm starting to dislike Honey Hunt after reading chapter 19. I feel bad for Nanase. =/

another doodle of Prince )

I want to cosplay Prince's first outfit (not the one I drew! his beginner outfit) but I have no idea what the color scheme is. From the mini picture of him on the back cover of volume one, the sleeves and pants might be green, but it's not a very good reference. =/ If not this, I want to at least make Meat Bun~ (she should be easy...)

The list of plushies I want to make is growing larger...
- Kiseki from Shugo Chara
- Musashi from Shugo Chara
- Meat Bun from 1/2 Prince
- Blue Badger (I bought fleece last year to make this but I haven't even touched my sewing machine)

Wah, I look forward to having more free time! D: I bought a bunch of manga last week, but I've only gotten around to Otomen and La Corda d'Oro...
AX is this weekend! I'll be leaving for Long Beach on Thursday. After AX, I'm going straight to Las Vegas (kekeke, I'm old enough to gamble now) so I won't be around much for almost all of next week.

But anyway, AX cosplays!

-Kirihara from Prince of Tennis
-Miranda from D.Gray-man
-Eureka from Eureka seveN (only this one's new)
-Eureka (last episode version) from E7

My Eureka outfit is dooone!!!! I only have the pouch left to do. The necklace was spray painted yesterday. I'm waiting for it to dry. I'm still debating about doing her arm...if time allows, I'll attempt it.

I'm thinking selling plushies, namely Gulliver this time around. I wonder if people would buy him? :3

For those going to AX, want to exchange cell phone numbers?
I made a plushie of Gulliver today. :D

At least he turned out fat. XD;

cut for ramblings on Gulliver and one more pic )

As for my Eureka cosplay...well, I only have the buttons and the boots taken care of. I made the buttons out of cloth wrapped around bottle caps. X3; The boots...I planned on making from scratch...but I couldn't figure out how to start. The toe part and the heel part is just...hard. So...I ended up using the white gogo boots I had bought. Cut it shorter and then...colored it.

PS. [livejournal.com profile] disutansu, thank you so much for your letter. It's so sweet. ♥ (And really, you're a master at folding stationary! How are you able to fold such complicated folds!?)
