Luo Shi's parentage. We're never exactly told who Luo Shi's dad is. It should be someone from the West City, but I don't quite remember. There was more emphasis on how the queen isn't actually Luo Shi's mother. His mother was actually one of the maids. But since Luo Shi's parentage is half/half, he is able to infuse his charms with western magic. The queen had him seal that away, but later in the series, he breaks the seal and thus becomes much stronger.
