Before Yue Tui's death, he has always needed to use a blindfold because of his position. He's not allowed sight. It's only after his death that he actually gets to see the world without a blindfold. Yue Tui and Fan Tong come up with a plan to overthrow Naerxi (possibly by killing him), but Yue Tui has a strange relationship with him. While he hates Naerxi, Naerxi is also very important to him, so in the end, they tolerate each other.
