Commentary/Translation of LSK Rule 20. :D

Rule 15/16 commentary
Rule 17, Rule 18, Rule 19 commentary & translation.

(Haha, and I figured out why the images weren't as clear in Rule 19. I forgot to make it grayscale... So, Rule 20 should be crisper~)

Rule 20 covers V2C10. Wow, 20 chapters for 2 novels? This is nearly 1 chapter of the manhua for every chapter of the novel then? (Though we do also have prologues and the extra chapters in the novels, so a bit less than 1 chapter of manhua for each chapter of the novel then). Still, maybe this means there will be around 80 chapters in all by the end. Maybe more, if it takes more for V8. V8, unlike the other volumes which all have 10 chapters + prologue + extra, has 12 chapters instead (+ prologue + extra). Thick volume. XD;;

Rule 20

The Sun Knight's Duty

(The Sun Knight's duty must be scheming. =P Anyway, poor Elijah! Look at poor Elijah struggling to get up in the background while Mike and Hell are having their face off. That's some battle aura, Mike... Did they blow Elijah away with their battle aura?! Doesn't the Son of the God of War have pretty eyes... XDDD

...*checks the novel* Pfft! Hell kicked Elijah away there... hahahaha XDD;;)
Son of the God of War: Why are you protecting him so much?

Son of the God of War: Are you conspiring against me together?

Hell: Conspiring together? How is it even possible to work together in such a situation?

Hell: There is only one princess, and it is not like she can marry twice. If I let you finish off Elijah, then it would not be long until my defeat.

*hmph!*

Son of the God of War: Even with him around, you can't win against me.

Hell: That might be true.

Hell: Your swordsmanship is very good, maybe even better than mine. As for your strength, it is far above mine.

Son of the God of War: Hahaha! You're not too shabby either! Your speed is fast!

Hell: Let us fight fairly!

(Heh, it makes more sense here for Mike to ask if they're conspiring here than in the novel since we're not shown Elijah getting kicked by Hell here. XDD;; Why would you ask if they're conspiring if he just got kicked by his ally?? Though I suppose Hell was helping Elijah out the entire time before that, hmmmm. Unless he kicked him out of danger? Or he kicked him because he suddenly remembered, "Oops, I need to make it look less like I'm helping him out?" Or maybe it's because Elijah was in the way. XD;; Anyway, I find it hilarious that they start praising each other and basically hitting it off. And whoa is the Son of the God of War strong, to be even stronger than Roland. Also... Roland's explanation was pretty good. Did he make it up on the spot? Or Grisia instructed him? Or he truly believes what he's saying? After all, he's not technically in cahoots with Elijah or anything. XD;; It's Sun who's the mastermind.)
Sun (thoughts): Do you have to hit it off so well?

Sun (thoughts): But if Supreme Dragon Hell can build good relationships with the Son of the God of War, that's not a bad thing either.

Elijah: ...

*completely unable to join in*

*clang clang clang clang*

Sun (thoughts): Elijah, you already did very well!

Sun (thoughts): From the start, a knight doesn't specialize in one-on-one battles. To be able to fight for so long with these ridiculously strong opponents means you can already be considered a top fighter.

Sun (thoughts): I just needed to create this impression, that in a one-on-one battle, Elijah can at least battle it out with these two for ten minutes, while in a battle where he is leading troops, Elijah can definitely win against both of them.

Sun (thoughts): This way, in everyone's eyes, especially the royal knights, Elijah would not be considered defeated.

*breaks*

(Hehehehe, Sun's expression. XD; And poor Elijah... (I can't seem to stop saying this). But... *pats him on the back* Truly, nearly no one would be able to get in between Mike and Roland. You did a lot better than Sun would do if Sun could only use a sword.)
Sun: Elijah! The princess is in danger! Quick, protect her!

Elijah: Princess?

*dash dash dash*

*dash dash dash*

Elijah: Who dares to endanger her!

*strike!*

*Ah...*

(ksjlfda;sfj Elijah, you're so cute. Princess! Princess! Look at him run. But gosh, Sun, what if he didn't make it in time and the princess got struck instead... the king would never let you off for that! That's still not a great sight for the princess to see. You're so mean, Sun (but with good intentions, hahaha))
Princess: Elijah!!

*Guh...*

Sun: This is...

Sun: A Curse of Darkness!

Witch: Hehehe~~~~

Witch: I want vengeance, vengeance, vengeance!

Explanation: Witch - A type of being that has been cursed. Although they are said to have "been" cursed, there were many cases in which they cursed themselves in order to make themselves into a witch so that they would have the power to take vengeance.

(Whoa, that darkness oozing about Elijah... Doesn't look good at all. That witch... *reads the original description again... "The witch was a gothic beauty with outstanding facial features, a hot and sexy body, and pale white skin that had a tinge of forest green to it. Her clothes were ripped perfectly, exposing her slender legs, deep cleavage, and navel. Still, they were not ripped to the point where the view of her could be rated R. It was a beautiful, yet garish and frightening sight." Hahaha, well, this certainly fits. *bows down to Neko Kreuz. I'm loving her rendition of all of this.)
Younger knight-confidant: Blasphemy! It is impossible that Her Highness the princess would have any ties with a wretched thing like you!

Witch: Hahaha! It's not the princess. It's the king.

Witch: He dallied with me, then forsake me and even killed the child in my body.

Witch: Child! Mother has wronged you!

Queen: *steps!!*

King: *Guh..!!*

King: Nonsense! I have never seen you before.

(The poor king getting stepped on by his wife... XD;;;)
Witch: No, not you. It was your father!

Royal knights: *That scared me! You should have said it clearly.*

Royal knights: *I thought that the crown prince had transformed from someone afraid of his wife into a lecher the moment he was crowned.*

King: ...Even so, you cannot randomly accuse people like this, harming the innocent!

Arrow pointing to his foot: *innocent*

King: Royal knights, take her down.

Royal knights: Understood!!

*clank!*

Sun: She must be an accomplice of the undead creature that had previously attacked. What a despicable witch! We must not let her do as she wishes and harm people. Holy knight brothers, immediately move forward to help the royal knights.

(Haha, the king's poor foot... And his expression... And the queen's expression... And the royal knights' expressions... XD;;)
*don*

Witch: ...

*swish swish swish*

Witch: M...move!

*bam!*

Sun (thoughts): Under the cooperation of the holy knights and the royal knights, no matter if it is a normal attack or a curse, they would all be stopped.

Sun (thoughts): Even though she is a witch,

Sun (thoughts): And might even be a fake witch created by Pink,

Sun (thoughts): for her to suffer because of my scheme
Sun (thoughts): I still...

Sun (thoughts): don't wish to see it...

Princess: Sun Knight!

Princess: Elijah, he, he can't make it!

Sun (thoughts): How can he be dying so quickly... I asked Pink to choose a curse that looked the most gruesome but was also the hardest to die from!

Sun (thoughts): But, I can't prevent Pink from playing a bad joke and purposely switching the curses...

*search search*

(The poor witch. T___T I really wonder if the witch's words were true or not, or if they were made up, and if she was real or fabricated. But then, the previous king's reputation is so bad that everyone would believe it. And even the previous king himself probably doesn't remember all those he wronged. Poor Elijah... he's been writhing in pain this entire time.)
Sun: Princess, please break the beads to ensure knight Elijah's life.

Sun: Until the Pope can finish reciting the incantation for Ultimate Heal...

*hasn't started reciting yet*

Princess: Elijah, please wake up!

*breaks breaks breaks breaks breaks*

Sun (thoughts): My, my rose bracelet...

King: Sister, sister, you can break them a little slower, a little slower!

King: Breaking them so quickly doesn't mean the effect will be better!

*heart aches*

Sun (thoughts): Oh? right! Why should I feel pained?

Sun (thoughts): I had already planned on giving this bracelet of beads to His Majesty as an apology!

Sun (thoughts): To prevent him from thinking I'm a nuisance...

Son of the God of War: So what if he dies!

(LMAO, Pope, hurry it up! Hm, does this mean he's in on the plan too... He's just standing there and waiting for Sun to speak first... XD;; Sun with cat ears. akdjfa;jf;da; So, so cute. Pft, the king seems to be in greater agony over the rose bracelet than Elijah's situation.)
Son of the God of War: Doesn't the Sun Knight know Resurrection?

Princess: Is that true? Is that really true?

Sun: Sun indeed knows Resurrection.

Sun: But unless there is no other choice, Sun would never use that kind of holy magic!

Princess: W-Why?

(Sun, I love you for your multi-layered plan. Solving the marriage problem, solving Elijah's problem as the spy, finding a spot for Roland, explaining Resurrection, stopping the Monastery of the God of War from overextending their influence... <3333 Maaaan, this plan is just... amazing.

Also, Resurrection. The introduction of this truly ended up driving most of the series, huh?)
Sun: It is because "Resurrection" comes with too many restrictions. First, it must be cast within eight hours of death. If it is cast on a corpse after eight hours have passed, the deceased would instead turn into an undead creature!

Sun: Also, "Resurrection" has no effect on those who have died of old age, illnesses, or even poison.

Sun: Casting it on someone like knight Elijah who has been cursed is also very dangerous. That is because "Resurrection" cannot remove the curse, so even if he wakes up, he might still die instantly because of the curse.

Sun: Additionally, "Resurrection" also has many side effects. The known side effects include sprouting horns, becoming covered in fur, gaining an extra arm, or even going insane or becoming disabled for life...

Sun: The price of revival will always be greater than that of death.

(*takes notes* And that is why a certain someone in V6 couldn't have been resurrected... Also, "going insane"? :'D I'm really curious about these side effects that Sun mentions...

...Is that person in the back... Elijah???? Or a random person...)
Princess: Elijah~~ Sob~~

Son of the God of War (thoughts): Heh! So it's like that. "Resurrection" isn't much at all!

Pope: Ultimate Heal!!

Elijah: Guh...

Elijah: Your Highness...

(I am still loving Mike's smirk here. XDDD;; You sure took your time, Pope!!!!)
Princess: *Elijah, oh! Elijah~~*

*angry*

Sun: Ah! A knight sacrificing himself to save a princess, and the princess shedding her lovely tears in gratitude. What touching love!

Sun: If Sun were to disturb such true love, not even the benevolent God of Light will forgive him!

*furious* *furious*

*walking straight*

*block!*

(Mike is so angry here. XD;; The royal knights immediately block him!)
*hmph!*

*step step* *step step*

Holy knights: Royal knights, charge! Those bastards from the Monastery of the God of War actually beat up our people from the Church of the God of Light!

Holy knights: They even dared to attack our Sun Knight Platoon! Looks like they want to die!

Holy Knights: Kill those bastards from the Monastery of the God of War! They nearly murdered Adair!

(Haha, there are people jumping down from the bleachers in the back. XDDD Meanwhile, while the Monastery and the royal knights are facing off, the holy knights are being the best cheerleaders. XDD;)
Sun: *Why did the other platoons mention Adair?*

Storm: *information savvy* Adair's reputation among the holy knights is probably around the same level as Elijah's reputation among the royal knights.

Storm: And your Sun Knight Platoon is about equal to the troops led by Elijah that consists of elite young knights.

Storm: Basically, your Sun Knight Platoon is well liked by everyone, regardless if they are common folk, part of the Sanctuary of Light, from our own Holy Temple, or even among the royal knights. Even I often go to them for help. They are very popular.

*popular*

Sun: Oh!

Sun (thoughts): I see. Seems like I can hand more missions to them in the future.

Storm: I feel like I've caused them misfortune...

Storm: But really, do you want them to fight or not? Tell us first so that we can be mentally prepared, okay?

Sun: I believe, the benevolent God of Light only wishes for beautiful love to bloom and does not wish to see battle and meaningless blood shed.

Storm: Oh.

Blaze: *dejected* Ah, I thought we'd be able to have a good brawl...

(When in need of info, glancing towards Storm for help is the best. XDDD;; Wow, Storm, you really do look very vacant here. Get some sleep!!!! I love how popular Adair and the Sun Knight Platoon are. XD;; They sure know how to get on people's good side... Great people skills. XDDD The good, warm-hearted faction seem to understand Sun's words pretty well. XD;;)
King: ...

*noisy~*

*noisy~*

Royal knights, charge! Charge! Defeat them!

King: Stop this at once!

Son of the God of War: *angry*

Son of the God of War: Your Majesty, have you forgotten our agreement?

King: *Guh...*

Sun: Son of the God of War, why not let a pair of lovers be together?

(Haha, Sun's smile at the end~ The king has had enough of this! Man, I really can't get over Mike's appearance. |D;; I really like it, hahahah. If he already looks this handsome... I can't wait until we meet Awaitsun who is supposed to be the handsomest of all~~ XD;; Though I actually didn't feel his design is that handsome... XDDD He did look nice though, but black would have suited him more, I feel)
Sun: Even Sun is willing to back out. Could it be that the Son of the God of War plans to continue obstructing this pair of lovers?

Son of the God of War: Hmph!

Sun: Why not let the His Majesty the king help the Monastery of the God of War by establishing a branch of the Monastery in the Kingdom of Forgotten Sound,

Sun: As an apology for the princess being unable to return the Son of the God of War's love?

Everyone: *What~~~~~~~~*

(Mike's face. XDDDDD He suddenly has cat eyes! And oh that canine tooth of his~. He looks like a cat. I guess he is compared to a black panther right... XDDD jjkd;as;da The shocked expressions from everyone!!
Earth is pretty much T____T "Sun, what are you doing..."
Blaze :O "What!!!!"
Cloud "..."
Leaf :O "Oh my goodness!"
Storm "Ehhhhhh?"
Ice "..."
Moon "Say what?"
Metal "What in the world"
Stone "So there's that method too..."
There, that's probably what they're thinking, hahahaha. XDDDD Both Cloud and Ice just look very blank.)
Son of the God of War: *glances* Well if it's such a sincere apology...

King: *does not oppose it*

Son of the God of War: Okay, sigh! Actually, I don't want to break apart a pair of lovers either.

*nods nods*

Sun: Exactly! I have heard that the God of War is a romantic who values emotions. He would definitely not do anything to steal another's love.

Son of the God of War: Indeed! Our God of War is indeed so. I didn't think the Sun Knight would understand our God of War so well.

Sun: It is nothing much at all. We are neighbors, after all!

Storm: *Do you have to flatter each other so much?*

Sun (thoughts): Since things have come to this, the decisive match no longer needs to be held.

(Ah, so the God of War is a romantic. I'd completely forgotten this... Makes sense that the God of War is all about emotions. Haha, cute SD forms of Sun and Mike. XD;;)
Son of the God of War: Hell Knight, I'm departing in two days. We should spar before then!

Hell: It would be my pleasure.

Sun (thoughts): After the Son of the God of War arranged a time with Supreme Dragon Hell for their next spar, he left contently with his warriors. He didn't even spare a glance for the princess.

Sun (thoughts): The royal knights looked confusedly at Elijah and me, their eyes filled with great suspicion.

Royal knights: *Why is the Sun Knight helping Elijah so much?*

Royal knights: *Are they on good terms with each other?*

Sun: *smiles~*

Sun: Thanks to the God of Light's will, the lovers were able to be together. Brothers, let us return to the Church now.

(Sun is back to his sparkly self. XDD Hell's hair is getting fluffy. XDDDD And well, of course Sun would help Elijah. Elijah was one of his knights! Even if no one else knows...)
Sun: Oh! Right.

*flap flap*

*flap flap*

Sun: Knight Elijah, thank you for previously saving my vice-captain Adair.

Elijah: You're welcome.

Elijah: Besides, I think we are even now, Sun Knight.

(Hahahahahaha omg, the birds. Dramatic scene is dramatic. Sun, you sure know how to pose, looking back like that, complete with birds flying off around you. We even get sound effects for the birds flying off, pffft. XDDD I really like this angle of Sun. Oh, oh! And his cape! It has half a sun at the bottom, ahhhhhh.)
Sun (thoughts): A few days later,

Sun (thoughts): Elijah came to find me in secret.

*under construction*

Elijah: The king wanted me to inform you

Elijah: to replace the eight rose beads that the princess used on me as soon as possible.

Sun (thoughts): The king's words mean that he has accepted my apology gift. Even though I cannot determine if he bears a grudge or not, at least he will not come and give me trouble in broad daylight.

(Hehe, it's the under construction prayer room again~, though they probably only just hung the sign up? They can't be leaving that there the entire time, right?)
Elijah: Also, Her Highness the princess says that you have been promoted from being the representative of despicability and shamelessness to being a despicable and shameless good person...

Sun: ...

Elijah: *wants to speak but isn't...*

Sun: ?

Elijah: Even though one's back may be against the light, one still walks under the light...

Elijah: You, you probably don't know how much these words mean to me.

Sun: *smiles*

(Haha, princess, you are awesome. I love the running joke of Sun getting called despicable and shameless. XD;; He is totally the representative of it and has been spreading it too, especially to his platoon. =P Aww, Elijah looks so cute here. The SD forms are growing cuter and cuter too)
*pat pat*

Sun (thoughts): Of course I know how important those words are. Ever since Judgment Knight was super depressed but heard these words from me, he has almost never refused any of my random requests.

Elijah: *sincere* Please don't worry. Although the Monastery of the God of War has been allowed to establish a branch temple in the Kingdom of Forgotten Sound to spread their religion,

Elijah: The royal knights, the princess, and I all stand on the side of the Church of the God of Light.

Sun: As the God of Light's spokesperson, I express my utmost gratitude toward you, Knight Elijah.

Elijah: As Elijah, I too thank you from the bottom of my heart, Knight-Captain Sun, but...

*hesitant...*

Sun: ?

Elijah: What is going on with that fake Hell Knight?

(Hahaha, oh Sun. I just love how he pats Elijah here. Elijah has absolutely no idea what Sun is thinking about. They're all being nice and polite to each other~. Elijah, be sure to remember not to call him Knight-Captain Sun~)
Sun: Hm? Why do you say Knight-Captain Hell is fake? Sun does not understand what you mean.

Elijah: *thinks...*

Elijah: *Ah...* No, you heard wrong.

Elijah: What I just said was, I hope to have the chance to meet Knight-Captain Hell and spar with him.

Sun: I will pass the message along to Knight-Captain Hell.

Elijah: Then I will take my leave now, Sun Knight. If you need any help with anything, please don't hesitate to come to me.

Elijah: I hope you understand that I will never refuse any of your requests as long as they do not betray the palace.

Sun: All right, if Sun has any troubles, I will use the identity of a "friend" to ask for your help.

(New member of the "do a small favor" club, get? XDD; Well, not really, I suppose. jsldfj;as Look at Sun playing innocent, holding his hand up before him like that, ahahaha. Innocent you are not. XDDD Hm, I wonder if any of the later cases count as Sun asking Elijah for help... I don't think he actually called on him?)
Elijah: I understand now. From now on, the Hell Knight stays in the Holy Temple, and Elijah stays in the palace.

Elijah: Other than being friends, there is no other connection.

*click!*

*closes*

(They're so formal with each other~. Hahahahahaa, Judgment is behind a pillar. XD;)
Judgment: *stares...*

Sun: ...

Sun: I get it, I'll tell you!

Sun: *Did you bring any blueberry pie from Ice for me?*

Sun: Even without the Son of the God of War marrying the princess of our country,

Sun: Many youths have already entered the embrace of the Monastery of the God of War. A religion is not a country. We cannot define geographical borders.

Judgment: You had no intention of entirely barring the God of War from the Kingdom of Forgotten Sound.

Sun: Because that is something impossible. Just like how the Kingdom of Moon Orchid has followers of the God of Light, the Kingdom of Forgotten Sound will definitely have followers of the God of War and even of the Shadow God.

Sun: It was just that, no matter what, I could not let the Son of the God of War marry the princess. That would be too dangerous!

1. "Princess" is the most yearned for noun among young men.

2. The king does not have an heir. A child between the princess and the Son of the God of War could likely become the successor. (If the son of the Son of the God of War became the king of the Kingdom of Forgotten Sound, that would be an unprecedented disaster for the Church of the God of Light.

3. "Royal knights" have always been a motivational goal for the youngsters of the kingdom. If the Son of the God of War were to become part of the royal family, then that would affect the beliefs of the royal knights. The youngsters would also follow.

(Hahaha, Judgment's stare. XD;; And then Sun explaining while holding pie. XD;;; Yessss, pie! \o\ Blueberry pie from Ice~. I don't think that was actually mentioned in the novels. XDDD Nice addition.)
Judgment: Since older folk are less likely to change their faiths, the youths are the most crucial to religion. Elijah is the leader of the younger side of the royal knights. By winning Elijah over, you have won over all of the royal knights.

Judgment: Additionally, now that Elijah is marrying the princess, their future child might even become the next king, so even if the Monastery of the God of War has a branch in the Kingdom of Forgotten Sound, that would still not disturb the foundation of the Church of the God of Light.

Sun: Otherwise, I would not have suggested it so frankly!

Judgment: You could have discussed it in private with the king and the Son of the God of War. He didn't have to marry the princess, and we could have him start a branch temple. Yet you had to go and arrange a decisive match, and you even provoked the royal knights and the warriors of the God of War...

Judgment: And then after the match, you even purposely thanked Elijah for saving Adair, making everyone think that you agreed to let the Monastery establish a branch in exchange for the princess because Elijah had saved Adair...

Judgment: I see. This way, the royal knights' opinion of you would rise even higher. Sigh! You are really...

*stands up*

(Haha, Sun finished his pie while Judgment was explaining. XD;; Judgment, you weren't even there at the scene when Sun thanked Elijah. Maybe that would have helped your interpretation.)
Sun: Judgment, it is true that you understand me very well, but don't overreach yourself!

Sun: I truly felt grateful toward Elijah for saving Adair. Do you doubt me on this?

Sun: It's true! I had a motive for thanking Elijah in front of everyone.

Sun: But it wasn't to make the royal knights like me. It was so that they would not suspect that Elijah had any relation with the Holy Temple!

Judgment: Sorry.

Judgment: I'm really sorry. I misunderstood. It was just that the methods you have been using recently have made me feel a bit unsettled, so I ended up interpreting events negatively...

Sun: Unsettled?

(lskdjf;sajdfa;fja;j Sun... your methods are quite scary. I wouldn't blame people for thinking in the negative direction. But to be misinterpreted by someone who you had only just considered your tapeworm! No wonder you're unhappy. I'm thinking maybe you're even afraid that if even Judgment can't see through you, then who would be able to? And what would that make you? jfkl;sdjka;j Judgment's expression ahhhhhhh. The word Judgment used is 心寒. It was translated as "disappointed" in PR's translation, but I feel it's more like feeling unsettled/chilled/disturbed. It can also mean being very disappointed, but I don't think Judgment is passing judgment here but talking about his unsettled feelings. fsdjfas I'd like to think that Sun partially thanked Elijah because he is really thankful about Adair.)
Sun: In the two most recent cases, other than the previous fat pig king who deserved what he got, was anyone harmed by my schemes?

Sun: I am the Sun Knight. I have duties I must carry out. But I am always trying my utmost to do so without harming anyone, and even to make sure the best outcome can be achieved!

Sun: Yet you,

Sun: The Lesus who understands me the most, actually feels unsettled towards me?

Judgment: Knight-Captain Sun, you have indeed done your duty and have not harmed anyone who should not be harmed.

Judgment: I am truly sorry, truly!

(Sun is mad! Like, actually mad! It's not often that he truly gets angry, I feel. Many times, he's angry, true, but they're just short bursts, or he's exaggerating... But this must've hit him hard. Also, that last panel with them gazing at each other... lkjs;asja;)
Sun: Lesus, it's not that I don't forgive you,

Sun: But you went too far.

Sun: Gathering followers is my main duty, and I have never forgotten what I must do as the Sun Knight.

Sun: I admit that my methods can be underhanded, but in order to make sure no one is harmed, I have no other choice!

Judgment: I am sorry. In the name of Lesus Judgment, I swear to the God of Light that I will never make this kind of mistake ever again.

(kjdfa;sdjfaf Them gazing at eaaaaach other. Grisia's angry face ahhhhhhhhh. Lesus looking on and then reaching out with his hand. I don't know if you can see it from the resized image, but there's a slight tremble in Sun's hand because of how angry he is. And then Lesus takes Grisia's hand and puts it on his chest. asjfs;jsa;)
Sun: How about this, I will forgive you if you promise to agree to ten of my demands unconditionally.

Judgment: ...Do you need me to promise that? When have I ever refused any of your demands?

Sun: You could not refuse me because those demands were official business. But sometimes I want your help with private matters!

Judgment: ...Climbing walls to buy blueberry pie is also official business?

Sun: That was a request, not a demand.

(Awww, Sun's thinking face. XD; And then Judgment's disbelief, hahahaha. Pfft, yes, blueberry pie is serious business!)
Judgment: Oh, I see. You have private matters that are even more absurd, so much that "requesting" is not enough, but you will need to "demand" them instead?

Sun: *hey hey* There's nothing like that at the moment, but who knows if there will be in the future. It's safer to seize this chance when you made a mistake to make you agree to my demands.

Judgment: ...

Judgment: Three demands.

Sun: Deal!

Sun (thoughts): Since I was seizing the opportunity, any amount was good.

Judgment: What are you going to do about Supreme Dragon Hell?

Sun: Oh!

Sun: You must be very happy that Knight-Captain Hell has returned to his position?

(jk;asfja;; Sun with cat ears again, and pouting! And then Judgment's expressions, hahahaha. Well, Judgment, having those demands wheedled out of you... are you sure about this...)
Sun: Since you were thirteen, no one in the Holy Temple has dared to compete with you in swordplay. Now, there is finally someone who can spar with you.

Sun: Or, did you think that you would have time among all of your work to run off to the neighboring kingdom to find the Son of the God of War from the Monastery of the God of War to challenge him?

Judgment: But he is a death lord. He is extremely dangerous!

Sun: A death lord in the Church of the God of Light, in this stronghold against undead creatures?

Sun: Are we the ones in danger, or is he the one in peril?

*helpless*

Judgment: Do whatever you want. I've thought it through...

Judgment: He's nowhere as dangerous as you.

(Sun is the most dangerous indeed. XD;; Aww, these two in the last panel~)
Judgment: Oh, the Pope seems to want to see you.

Sun: Strange, nothing should be going on right now~

Sun: What? The Son of the God of War is marrying the princess of the Kingdom of Moon Orchid?

Sun: And wants me to be the groomsman?

Pope: Yup.

Sun: Can I not go? I want to be a church hermit~~~~

*to be continued*

(Hehe, the Pope is just sipping his tea nonchalantly. Oh, the invitation from Moon Orchid has their kingdom's symbol on it~. I like that this was included in this chapter. Nice cliffhanger/lead in to the next volume. Haha, and it makes it feel even more absurd that the Son of the God of War already has another marriage lined up for him, because it was featured right in the same chapter when he only just gave up on the notion of marrying the princess of Forgotten Sound. XD;; (Some days had passed though). Even though the extra chapter wasn't adapted here before the volume's end (Roland getting used to the Holy Temple), I bet it will be included in the next chapter or two, probably before or during Tyler's confrontation with Roland. I hope so, at least!)
A Vice-Captain's Benefits

On the day of the three way battle, even the knights on patrol in the Holy Temple all disappeared without a trace, so Sun gave the following order to his own platoon...

Sun: You guys will stay here to guard the place!

Sun Knight Platoon: No way... We originally wanted to secretly sneak out via the secret pathway to watch the match. Captain~~~ Captain~~~

Sun: Disgusting! Scram!

Adair: Captain...

Adair: I will properly lead the Sun Knight Platoon in guarding the Holy Temple. Although not being able to see your prowess in battle will be a lifetime regret of Adair's, Adair will definitely follow your every order.

Adair: Except, I cannot help but feel regretful...

Sun: If you will feel that regretful, then after you have seen to their guarding locations, come over and watch the match.

Adair: Understood!

*recovers instantly*

Sun Knight Platoon: Adair! You're too despicable~~~ Shameless~~~ Traitor~~~~

(copying and pasting my reaction/thoughts from my other post: First, ah, so Adair does refer to himself in third person just like Sun! I do write him speaking that way, except I didn't quite remember if I was remembering correctly. /bad memory. This was a good refresher. Haha, both Adair and Grisia have that fake modesty thing going on. Also, Adair is totally capable of manipulating his captain... He sure recovered quickly after being allowed to go to the match! Another thing Adair and Grisia share is that they both get called shameless and despicable. XDDDD (Like captain, like vice-captain, huh?)

Also, pffft, Sun! You totally weren't even going to be in the match, so Adair's totally not going to miss out on any of your "fighting" prowess, yet you still caved... I suppose Adair gets to watch your schemes play out, which he probably adored.)

This is it for now until the next bundle is released! I can't wait to see Aldrizzt, ahhhhhhhh.
