I have no idea where this originated from because it was all over my f-list today. I've been having fun reading them! Have another one. XD;
HOW IT ALL BEGAN
How did you find out about PoT?: There was a time I downloaded anime from mIRC like crazy. One person who was sharing anime had a few episodes of Prince of Tennis. I randomly downloaded the few episodes that person was sharing because of the name of the series (I was in my high school tennis club, or well, was considering joining... I don't remember which came first anymore). The first episode I watched was the episode where Kikumaru and Oishi were playing Akazawa and Kaneda. Kikumaru had just gotten recharged and was doing flips to chase after the ball. I had no idea what was going on. XD; I then watched the episode before that and slowly tried to figure out who was who.
When was that?: Whenever episode 33 first aired. Er, that was 2002? Wait... has it really been 10 years? T____T
What was first for you: anime, then manga. The anime was easier to get my hands on. The manga I read more when the anime started diverging from the manga during the Rokkaku and Rikkai arcs.(I was sooo disappointed when the diverge started). Then I got into the musicals. Then video games. Then dramapuri. Am I missing any? XD; Oh, and rajipuri! Uhhh, way before dramapuri. Maybe sometime during the same time as the musicals. Though I didn't understand them until way later.
Did you begin reading/watching it from the beginning?: No.
If not, then at which point of the story?: Episode 33. XD;; It will always hold a special place in my heart, haha.
What was your first impression?: What is this guy doing, flipping on the courts, chasing the ball like that? I was actually paying more attention to Akazawa though. XD; I think his part was reacting to Kikumaru. XD
HOLDING
Do you download the manga?: Yes. But I mostly read physical copies of beginning volumes until I stopped buying the series when relatives from Taiwan (who help me buy manga) stopped visiting frequently.
Do you download the anime?: Yes... I almost never buy anime. (I'm so a manga collector... that's way more than enough for me!)
Do you own original PoT manga books? (How many?): Yes, uh... around 30 or so volumes of the manga in Chinese. Recently, I've been buying them in Japanese, the kanzenban, both season 1 and season 2. They are so expensive but very pretty. I haven't bought any of Shinpuri. I bet there'll be some special reprint of it in the future, haha, so I'll hold off... I'm also buying Houkago no Oujisama. There are 2 volumes out so far! \o/
Are they in your own language?: The Chinese ones, yes. I've never bought English ones.
Do you own original PoT anime DVDs? (How many?): I own none.
Are they in your own language?: N/A
Do you own any PoT merchandise?: Yes. :3
What kind?: video games - Gakuensai, Smash Hit 2, Form the Strongest Team, Passion Red, Driving Smash Side King, Crystal Drive, Sweat and Tears (I think those are all the video games I have... don't know if I listed all the right ones, haha). Fanbooks - 10.5, 20.5, 40.5, all the PairPuris, and the 30.5 artbook. Ryoma plushie. Ryoma handpuppet. Tenipuri one coin grande figures (entire set). Tenipuri j-mini figures. Tenipuri posters (the stick posters especially, I love those). Tenipuri calendars. Some random phone straps. I think this is it.
Do you buy it regularly?: Regularly enough for my wallet. Still waiting for a new Form the Strongest Team with more characters and new moves!! Please make another tennis game, Konami!!
STORY AND CHARACTERS
Your favorite character: My list is shortened and lengthened depending on my mood, haha, but YAGYUU. Yagyuu is always in my list. As number one. Which is strange because all of the others I love are 2nd years or younger. XD;; I love Ryoma (seems like he's fairly disliked =P ), Yuuta ♥, Kirihara, Hiyoshi... shall I just say most of Ryoma's rivals? ^^;; I also like Yukimura and Mizuki. And Karupin. XD;
Your least favorite character: My least favorite would be me thinking "why is he so popular? I don't get it." =/ This position used to go to Fuji, though now I like him too (his songs in the musical are beautiful, and I liked Fuji's matches later in the series).
Your favorite team: Rikkai. So Rikkai.
Your least favorite team: I just think the Jyousei and American team designs don't feel very much like designs from Tenipuri. I also don't care too much for Rokkaku.
The best game you've seen: I really liked Ryoma vs Akaya. I remember being so excited about that. =P Though okay, I was more excited over Ryoma speaking English to Akaya than over tennis. I was really excited about Ryoma vs Hiyoshi too. Later Ryoma matches were not as exciting... uhhh, for actual tennis, Fuji vs Shiraishi... I liked seeing Fuji challenged like that. Go Shiraishi!
The most boring game you've seen: Some of the matches in the anime... Cyclone Smash? ;___;
Game you would yet like to see: Yagyuu in singles! Kirihara versus Ryoma, full match.
Your favorite pairing: crack pairings, Kirihara/Hiyoshi, Yagyuu/anyone, Ryoma/anyone, Yuuta/anyone (I just like seeing any possible pairings with my favorite characters), to a lesser degree, Yagyuu/Niou because that's the majority of what's around with Yagyuu pairings =P (where's all the Yagyuu/Sanada?). Also, I like seeing 82 more than 28. =P
Your least favorite pairing: I'm not into Tezuka/Fuji and many of the doubles pairings, though I don't hate them. I just don't feel any are canon, though they are very hinty and I do so love their friendships.
The character you're most like: Sakuno. I am very shy. Ryoma. I'm also very antisocial, though I feel I'm more like Long Ma from Dramapuri. (he's not too good with people, but he's not as snarky and he does want to become closer with the team).
FANDOM
Do you write fanfiction?: Yes.
Do you draw fanart?: Nope, my art is terrible. My writing... you just can't tell from a glance. =P
Do you like reading fanfiction?: Yes, thought I do it in spurts (I tend to forget where I left off if what I read wasn't already a completed story).
Do you like looking at fanart?: Yes, but I rarely go searching for any. Not even sure what's out there. :3
Your favorite fanfiction genre: Anything that's well-developed and engaging, no matter the genre, though I'm not big on angst or romance-focused fics. Romance with lots of stuff going on in addition to the romance? Awesome! I suppose I like stories with a mix of genres.
Your favorite fanfiction rating: PG-13.
Your favorite fanfiction author: I like
sinnatious's fics a lot, especially this one Inui/Ryoma fic. Crack pairings = ♥
Your favorite fanart artist: doujinka, that would be Satoumizu and Negahyst.
Have you ever participated in a PoT cosplay?: Yup. Cosplayed Ryoma waaaay back (met quite a few Tenipuri fans because of that cosplay!) and then cosplayed Kirihara a bit later (still quite a while ago). My Kirihara wig was all kinds of awesome. XD;;; I was part of a Rikkai group that
yoshikochan got together for that cosplay. We had an awesome photoshoot! Though I also had a Fire Emblem gathering near the same time, so I was flitting between Kirihara and Soren, haha. XD;
Do you collect PoT dojinshi?: Sort of. During my one trip to Japan two years ago or so, I bought all the Tenipuri doujinshi I could at the time that caught my eye. A ton of Negahyst. A ton of Kaneshiki Swiss. A bunch of miscellaneous other Rikkai doujinshi, 2882, one Shinpuri doujinshi, some Hyoutei, some St. Rudolph, and a really cute Yanagi and Inui friendship one. XD;
Do you draw PoT dojinshi?: No, I can't draw.
Do you watch PoT AMVs?: Some! Mostly MADs on niconico. They're hilarious.
Do you make PoT AMVs?: I've wanted to when Tenipuri was still airing, haha. That was a long time ago. AMVs are quite beyond me though.
RANDOM QUESTIONS
One word to describe PoT: Tenipuri. XD;;
Is the above word 'crack'?: No. =P Tenipuri is Tenipuri.
Are any of the PoT characters straight?: Yes. Like, the majority.
Should Sakuno die?: No, I like her, but even if I didn't like her, I never think characters should die...
Do you like Ryuzaki-sensei?: She's a good coach.
Was the season about Americans necessary in the anime?: No, but it made the Senbatsu arc possible, which created all sorts of crack situations. Also, I liked Kevin. The other characters less so.
Tenipuri, Anipuri or Tenimyu?: Tenipuri! Manga first. The OVAs are pretty awesome too.
Who is the seme of the series?: Tennis.
Who is the uke of the series?:Tezuka, everyone wants a piece of Tezuka
Tezuka or Tezubot?: Tezuka smiles in Shinpuri. =P
Is it OK for Ryoma to be winning all the time?: No, things would be more interesting if he also lost in official matches.
Who has the funniest hairstyle?: Oishi. There's this one MAD on nicovideo I watched the other day that changes Oishi's hairstyles to a variety of other styles. He looks so handsome in these other hairstyles. XD;;
Who has the best fashion sense?: They're all wearing tennis uniforms and school uniforms most of the time. =P I do like how a lot of them look in their school uniforms, but that's not their fashion sense... XD
Oishi/Kikumaru - canon?: No.
Sengoku/Atobe - crack?: More so than Oishi/Kikumaru, and because of that, I also find it more interesting. =P
TENIPURI & YOU
Would you like to live in the world of PoT?: Yes.
Which team would you like to play in?: Not one of the more competitive schools. I would do terribly in those kind of schools. I think Fudoumine would be great with the kind of atmosphere they have going.
Which character would you go out with?: Yuuta. XD; (His reactions in Gakuensai no Oujisama are so cute). I like Yagyuu, but I think he would intimidate me.
Which character would you become friends with?: Kirihara and Ryoma. I'd go to the arcade with Kirihara and... I don't know about Ryoma, but maybe he'll let me play with Karupin... would he? D:
Which tennis technique would you like to learn?: Laser beam. :DDD I am so in love with this move (it's one of the reasons I fell so hard for Yagyuu).
Which character would you most like to play against?: NOT YUKIMURA. I don't want my senses taken away from me. Marui maybe, as I'd love to see his special techniques, though they would also frustrate me too.
AND NOW, THE FINAL QUESTION...
Do you love Atobe?: I do, he's a lot of fun, hehe.
